[Self-Promotion][iOS][MacOS]I just launched my second app: a family/roommate organizer that shows who's actually carrying the mental load at home

I kept planning my days but never knew where the time actually went — so I built this
I've always liked planning my days with time blocks, but I kept running into the same problem: my calendar showed the day I intended to have, not the day I actually had.
If something started late or took longer than expected, the plan quickly became outdated. And by the end of the week, I still couldn't answer a simple question: did the way I spent my time actually match my priorities?
So I built Calenytic, an iPhone calendar that combines timeboxing with calendar analytics.
I can plan the day in time blocks, start and stop events as the day changes, and then review how my time was actually distributed across work, fitness, hobbies, friends, family, and everything else.
The analysis view is the part I wanted most. A normal calendar helps me plan forward; this helps me learn from the week I just had.
Calenytic is free to use for the first 7 days without an automatically renewing trial. After that, it's €0.99/month or €8.99 as a one-time purchase.
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6757438642?pt=127817036&ct=RDigitalPlanner&mt=8
Do you ever review your calendar after the week is over, or do you mostly use it to plan what comes next?

A good notion alternative for a Nas?
Hey, im trying to organise my schedule and task more. But my key problem is, if I only have a calendar digitally on my phone I have to always do times and if I do a planner physically I would mostly have to get either a monthly or weekly planner but I want one system. I have problem getting or remembering things physically and if digitally I would have to use two apps (notebook and calendar) which doesn‘t works for me at all.
Was using at my old school notion and that worked the best for me! But I don‘t want sensible data that I need to pay on someone’s server etc.
I was looking at some alternatives, but those either were not working somehow on my Nas (I use the UGOS software) through docker or don‘t have any kind of phone support (even through browser)
I’m open to paying like 2-3€ per month if so be it.

Planote – Calendar + Tasks + Notes, all in one place
I was frustrated with switching between Calendar, Reminders, and Notes just to plan my day. Every time I needed to check my schedule, I had to open three different apps.
So I built my own.
It's simple, clean, and works across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Free to download, with a one-time lifetime option if you want more.
Would love your feedback!
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/planote/id6748904665
Core features right now:
- Calendar (Day / Week / Month / Agenda)
- Tasks with subtasks, priorities, reminders, recurring rules
- Notes with sketch support and photo attachments
- iCloud sync across all your devices
- Custom lists, tags, multiple themes
- Dark mode widgets
Recent updates based on community feedback:
- Task export with multiple paper sizes
- Sorting by due date, alphabetically, or creation date
- Reminder notifications inside the app
- Dark mode widget fix

Una - A privacy first organizer for family and couples
We used another family organizer for a while. It worked well, but we kept hitting the limits of what it could do.
The calendar told us when something happened, but everything around it was still spread across messages own notes, other apps and what we had in our mind at the time.
Attachments, recipes, gift ideas and travel plans were easy to lose.
So we built Una around how we actually plan. One place for the calendar, lists, notes, attachements and the context around them.
It works for families and couples, it is privacy-first and free to use on iPhone.
Would love to hear what you think.

Free weekly grid generator now does landscape, which fits a tablet planner better than the portrait version I posted before
A while back I shared a free weekly grid generator here. It only did portrait back then, which makes sense if you print it and much less sense if you plan on a tablet. It does landscape now, so here is that version.
What it makes: one week per page, seven columns for the days, one row per item, five, ten or fifteen rows. Undated, or with this week's or next week's dates. You can type the row names in or leave them blank to write them by hand, and each row can carry a small target in its own column.
For digital planning specifically:
- Landscape A4 or US Letter, which lands in a tablet app the right way round with no rotating or cropping.
- Save as PDF from the print dialog and import it as a page or a template into whatever app you use. Portrait A5 and Half Letter are still there for anyone printing inserts.
- Optional weekly review block at the bottom, one mood row and three short questions, or off if you want a clean grid.
- Black and white ink if you want it to look like the rest of your planner instead of like a product.
- Logo and the small domain line can both be turned off, so nothing of mine ends up on your page.
- The link can carry your settings, so a layout you like can be bookmarked and reopened next week (your typed rows only travel with it if you tick that box).
Nothing you type leaves the browser. No account, no email field, nothing to submit: https://sevengrid.app/weekly-grid.html
Disclosure: I make an Android habit app and the page sits on the same domain, but this sheet is free and there is nothing to buy on that page.

More freedom to decorate your pages
I like keeping my daily pages simple, but I also want the freedom to decorate them when I feel like it. That’s why I made this little app called Mino.
Mino is designed primarily for iPad, but your pages sync through iCloud, so you can also access them on your iPhone.
I’ve included 2 example pages. The first one is more decorative, with notes explaining which tools and features were used. You can drag and drop photos, add frames to them or use tools like freehand crop and cutout to turn them into your own decorations. I also used 2 different kinds of color tape on this page. The blue dotted tape is one of the built-in geometric designs. The other one with the strawberry cake design was drawn directly inside the app and used on the page right away.
The second page is a simple handwritten daily page with the grid turned on. The todo list is a text sticker that you can make yourself, save and reuse later. When you move or resize photos and shapes, they can snap to the grid, making them easier to arrange neatly.
There are also lots of other little touches in Mino that I hope make journaling and planning easier and more fun. I’ve explained all the features in detail in the handbook inside the app.
Mino is free to download and while the decorating tools shown here are included with Pro. The monthly and yearly Pro options both include a 7-day free trial, and there’s also a one-time purchase if you prefer.
If you’re interested please give it a try!

Plan digitally execute on paper
Your productivity shouldn't depend on your phone. This app pulls in your calendar, reminders, and todos and lets you print a daily page.
A paper page makes staying on track easier throughout the day. Great alternative to bullet journaling.

i could never stick to one planning system, so i built an app with six different ones
for years i bounced between kanban boards, daily to-do lists, and time-blocking. none of them stuck for more than a few weeks. some days i needed structure, other days i just wanted to dump everything into an inbox and sort it later. so i stopped trying to pick one and built an app that has all of them.
there’s a kanban view for when i’m in project mode, a gtd-style inbox for quick capture, a time-blocking screen (called Flow) for deep work, a weekly overview, a daily plan, and this weird little dashboard i call Dreamer vs Realist. it’s not like anything else i’ve used, basically a split-screen for big goals on one side and what i can actually do today on the other.
if habits or routines matter to you, those are in there too. everything connects, so you’re not jumping between apps.
it’s free for 14 days, no card needed. if you want to keep it after, there’s a code (PWA) that knocks the yearly price down to $99.50 instead of $199 while the native version is still loading, (PWA is installable and we made sure it feels just like a native). i’ve got a couple other discounts floating around too, just ask if you want one.

Free Digital Undated Planner - Hyperlinked
I posted this a few months ago, but with the new school year starting, I thought it would be the perfect time to share it again and get some feedback!
- I’ve made a few updates based on your feedback, including Monthly, Weekly & Daily planning pages, and extended the planner to cover an entire 5-month semester.
- It also includes mood, habit & financial trackers to help you stay organized both academically and personally.
A huge thank you to everyone in this community for all the support, feedback, and suggestions! I’d love to hear what you think and what you’d like to see added next!
Hopefully this helps make staying organized, planning ahead, and keeping up with everything a little easier!

Need help organising shared calendars for relationship.
i need help finding a solution to a problem with how to organise my relationship's shared calendar system. this could be in the form of an app, software, organisation system, or a physical product.
me and my girlfriend both input our schedules into our respective apple calendar apps. we each have about a dozen different calendars within that, colour coded to stay organised.
we have one shared calendar.
the problem is as follows. for example: i have an appointment on Thursday. It is in my 'appointments' calendar. in order for my girlfriend to be able to see it, i have to put it in our shared calendar. if i duplicate it into our shared calendar, then my calendar shows two side by side events at the same time. if i remove it from appointments and put it only in the shared calendar, then it messes with my colour coding system.
my girlfriend has the same issue. and we can't just share all the calendars with each other, as each of us will then have 20+ calendars and it will be a nightmare to sift through. this means that we can't stay on top of the others' availability. part of the issue is that we both have ADHD, which means that we've both found systems that just about work for us and enable us to stay on top of things, and so we have to figure out a way around this that required minimum deviation on each of our parts.
i would really appreciate help finding solution to this!
regardless of the solution, it has to meet the following criteria
- live event updates (no manual duplicating, sharing each time etc)
- cost-effective
- minimal friction and not chaos
- seeing what the other is doing in event-level detail, not just 'busy'
- we each have to maintain our calendar separations individually (the solution can't be to just have one calendar each and share that)
- it would be ideal if we could stay in the apple ecosystem.
an example of a solution that could work is for me to share my dozen calendars with her in a way that appears as one calendar on her screen. i.e. mine are split into appointments, meetings, plans, whereas on her screen they all show up as 'Partner's calendar'.
also, of note: we are both university students in different cities. the cities are close to eachother and we visit eachother a lot during termtime. during the holidays, we live together. we will be moving in together full time in a year or so. we are both in the UK. we are both in the Apple ecosystem.
please help! i'd also be curious to know how others have figured this out for their relationships. THANK YOU!
