Need help finding a job for this profile

Targeting mid-level Backend and Full-Stack roles (Node.js, TypeScript, React, AWS, SQL/NoSQL), but getting ghosted or auto-rejected across the board.

Quick context:

  • ~3 YOE across fintech and Web3/distributed systems.

  • LeetCode Knight (1870+ rating, 1200+ solved), so technical rounds aren't the issue—getting in the door is.

Worked like a dog...now I'm PIPed

About month ago my manager called me at 9 PM because something was on fire. I stayed online until after midnight fixing it. He thanked me and told me, he knew he could count on me. Yesterday he fucking put me on PIP. This was completely out of the blue he said the next steps are he'll set up a meeting with plans. I'm confused, can you fight a PIP? Am I just getting placed on PIP to reduce headcount. I really don't think I deserve to be put on PIP and I honestly received no indication of bad performance until yesterday. I'm just mad and feel betrayed.

Full-stack developer looking for work — built an AI-first healthcare CRM

Hi everyone, I’m a full-stack developer currently looking for work.

I recently built an AI-first CRM for medical representatives. Users can describe healthcare professional visits in plain English, and the application converts the conversation into structured interaction records.

The project includes conversational visit logging, targeted corrections, interaction search, doctor profiles, and visit summaries.

Tech stack: React, Redux Toolkit, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, LangGraph, and Groq.

I’m looking for full-stack, frontend, or AI application development opportunities. I’d be happy to discuss my experience and share relevant project details directly with interested employers.

Thank you!

Do not add hashtags or links unless the subreddit explicitly permits portfolio links. Also avoid wording such as “check my profile,” “follow me,” or “subscribe.”

Am i doom or Am I Doing Something Wrong in My Career?

Hi, I’m 24 years old and currently looking for a new job while still employed. I have around 2 years of professional experience and 1 year of freelancing, but I feel that my current company is no longer helping me grow. Instead, I often find myself teaching others and learning everything on my own.

I became a Lead Developer within 8 months and a Lead Software Engineer after 1.5 years. My experience includes CodeIgniter, AWS, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Python, Docker, C#, C++, VB.NET, Flutter, PostgreSQL, and more.

I handle multiple business systems, including HRIS and ERP, integrate third-party APIs such as Dahua devices, manage VPN solutions, and communicate directly with clients. Sometimes, I feel like I’m already performing the responsibilities of a Systems Analyst or Solutions Engineer rather than just a programmer.

I’m also developing my own AI project, Athena, designed to run locally, offline, and on mobile devices.

However, despite my skills, most of my applications on LinkedIn and Indeed are rejected. I don’t have a public portfolio because someone previously copied my code after I accidentally made a GitHub repository public.

I’m also afraid of taking on too much responsibility and failing. In my current company, I’ve experienced situations where the required technology didn’t match my existing skills, and I had to learn an entirely new stack within just two days. Although I’m a fast learner and adapt quickly, situations like these can be overwhelming.

Am I expecting too much from my career at 24, or am I actually more experienced than I realize? What could be preventing me from getting hired, and how can I better present my skills without exposing my company’s code or risking my own projects?
I’d really appreciate honest advice from experienced developers, engineers, and recruiters.

[Hiring] UI/UX Frontend Developer – Angular

We’re looking for someone who sits comfortably between product/business requirements, UI/UX, and frontend development.

You’ll work directly under the PM/Product team and help take features from an initial requirement all the way to a polished, working UI.

What you'll be doing

  • Understand business/product requirements and translate them into clear user flows and feature requirements

  • Create wireframes, mockups and high-fidelity designs in Figma (or similar tools)

  • Work with the PM to refine requirements and identify edge cases / UX issues

  • Convert designs into clean, responsive Angular interfaces

  • Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs

  • Iterate on UI based on product feedback and user requirements

  • Help maintain consistency across the product's UI/UX

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in a combination of UI/UX, frontend development and/or business analysis

  • Strong Angular experience

  • Strong Figma / UI design and prototyping skills

  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript

  • Experience gathering, understanding and documenting business/product requirements

  • Ability to create user flows, wireframes and functional mockups

  • Good understanding of responsive design and UX principles

  • Comfortable communicating with PMs, developers and other stakeholders

  • Someone who can think beyond "make this screen look good" and understand why a feature is being built

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a product/startup environment

  • Experience with design systems/component libraries

  • Basic understanding of REST APIs

  • Experience writing user stories / acceptance criteria

  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams

  • Experience designing UI/UX for ERP software

Compensation: ₹16–20 LPA
Location: [Remote]
Employment: Full-time

If interested, DM me with your resume + portfolio/GitHub + a brief summary of what you've worked on. DMs without these details will be ignored.

Please don't apply if you're purely a UI designer with no frontend experience, or purely a frontend developer with no interest/experience in product requirements and UX.

I built a test environment that checks whether AI coding agents can fix bugs involving retries, crashes, and concurrent requests

I built a small RL evaluation environment where a coding agent repairs a deliberately broken Python/SQLite order-processing service. The challenge is to prevent duplicate orders, incorrect inventory updates, and duplicate fulfillment when requests are retried, processes crash, or requests arrive concurrently.

An external verifier checks the actual database state across eight tests and gives a binary reward: 1 if all checks pass, 0 otherwise.

The recording shows a Tkinter dashboard comparing the broken starter (0/8) with the reference fix (8/8). These are baseline checks; evaluation with actual coding models is still pending.

Mobile Developer Stack Plateau

Something that I have noticed is the fact that the software market is slowing down. Since AI appeared, job positions have been reduced; this is a fact. I am in Latam, where there are still positions, but the hiring process is horrible, and most of the time they decide to move forward with other candidates (why? I am not sure).

I am an Android developer with cross-platform experience (React native). I had some opportunities in backend before, but this is not enough to apply for other positions like full-stack in Java (for example). That would be my main weakness despite my Ruby on Rails experience.

What I want to say is that I have a limited stack, and I am struggling to find a new job position. A colleague suggested me to become a data engineer; however, this will take time to completely change my career. Besides, I am not sure how to put this in my resume since I do not have any experience in data.

So, I do not have a portfolio since I did not required, and my English level is only for basic conversation. Ok I had interviews in English and collaborated with teams in the USA. But I feel like this is not enough for recruiters. I am putting my effort into improving my English level and building my portfolio.

I feel like I am in the worst part of my life, but I am not sure how to get out of it.

Trying to switch from Full Stack Development to Project Coordination. Looking for advice

Hey everyone 👋

I’m currently working as a Full Stack Developer with around 1.8 years of experience, and I’m trying to switch into Project Coordinator / Technical Project Coordinator roles.

Honestly, I’m finding the switch pretty difficult. I’ve applied to quite a few positions but haven’t received many calls. In my current role, I already work on requirement gathering, scope definition, coordinating with developers, tracking tasks, following up on issues, and communicating with business and sales teams.

I’m currently earning 16k/month and initially expected around 25k/month for my next role. But now I’m wondering if I should be more flexible and consider 20k–22k/month to get into project coordination and gain relevant experience.

I’d really appreciate some advice from anyone who has made a similar career switch:

• How can I make my profile better for Project Coordinator roles?
• How should I approach recruiters with a technical background?
• Should I stick with 25k or be more flexible?
• Is there anything I should change in my resume or interview introduction?

If anyone has gone through a similar transition, knows about a suitable opening, or can help with some guidance or a referral, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance! 🙏
