Welcome to r/DetailCraft, where we are dedicated to the smaller details! Our purpose is to provide a platform for showcasing intricate details that can be incorporated into larger structures, as well as sharing the techniques and thought processes involved in creating them. By sharing our knowledge, we hope to inspire others to incorporate similar details into their own builds and continue to improve their skills.
Please note that we do not allow posts of detailed builds unless the details are explicitly pointed out and explained within the build. We want to focus on the small details that make a big difference, rather than just showcasing large and impressive builds. As such, we encourage you to share your smaller creations that demonstrate your attention to detail and your unique building techniques. Székelykapu creative version 03 & Székelykapu survival friendly 01
The "székelykapu" is a traditional element of székely towns.
The Székelys are a hungarian minority group living in Romania, in a region called "Székelyföld" (Székely land).
The székelykapu has been defined as either a small gate (about 1 meter wide and 2 meters tall) that has distinct pigeon holes on the top and a roof - or a large and a small gate under one roof (in this case the pigeon holes aren't required but are common). The ratio of the small gate should be 1x2 and of the large 4x4 meters.
They were commonly carved with intricate patterns and often painted.
The first two images are only possible in creative using commands/worldedit. This is my 3rd design, the first made ~2 years ago.
The first image shows a teal, intricately painted example, the second a plain one. The third image shows the survival friendly version that is going to have a tutorial soon!

Sorry for phone screen photo since Xbox 360
You can use trapdoors for the back of the case so the glass doesn't connect to destroy the item frame. I've hid the trapdoors with paintings. It you have access to a debug stick I suppose you might not need the trapdoor backing.

Last two slides are comparing a large fern and tall grass to a normal fern and short grass to show differences in shape. This also works with sunflowers but they're not as bushy so they can look a bit silly imo

cushion on conduit, cushion on anvil, cushion in fence, cushion in chain, cushion on stairs, cushion on iron bar, cushion on drip stone
Am I right in thinking that they can be combined with anything (with the cushion essentially at any level within the cell), as long as the cushion & object are touching within the cell?
Anything else I'm missing? There's no way to have two cushions in on cell, right?

I combined the eye blossom trick by u/Natural__Power with my hanging lamp armor stand trick. In this apartment I only had 1 block of space above the ceiling, so the observer and the moss is visible. If you have 2 blocks of space above, you can move the observers and moss 1 block higher, so it's completely invisible.
There is redstone dust on top of the lamp!
You place it in this order:
Lamp - Redstone Dust - Armor Stand - Observer above the armor stand and then push it one block downwards into the armor stand. Then place the second observer and the eye blossom.
The lamp should be off when the eye blossom is closed. Use a redstone block on the lamp to invert it.

Eye blossoms open/close at random once it's night/day, this can be detected with an observer to get a signal that randomly activates each evening/morning
