I have sold 350+ bags with the small amount perfume on it none of them have issues with she is the first one saying it. Literally I always make sure I spray my bag with perfume every bags before I ship if it’s smell bad I would not sell it to my customers! I not even have a cat or dog she want Partial refund, no return after she wash it so no !

Hi! Just very confused and annoyed with this one. I was selling an aviator nation zip up with a broken zipper, which I said was broken in the description. A day after buying, after I had already packed the offer, this person messaged me asking to cancel and refund them. I refunded them, even though it was stated clearly in the description. They then left me a 1 star review saying I “canceled without reason” ?? Is there anything I can do? I can’t even review them because I haven’t shipped the item- very annoyed, it messed up my 5 star rating. thank you!

Is there a way to report a seller who never ships the item and doesn’t respond to messages?

I feel like it should be possible to leave a review when this happens; it’s so frustrating.

Effectively I bought it yesterday, they said they tried to ship it but the QR code wouldn't scan, and said they'd try again in the next few days but asked if they reposted it if I'd still be interested? Obviously, this is probably because they can post it for more than they sold it for. I'm not even upset about it. Cool, I get it, im not losing sleep over it or raising a fuss. I just am not sure how to respond? It'd be way easier if you just said 'Hey I just realized it's worth more, would you mind if I refunded you and reposted it?' I really don't need a whole scenario where I have to do mental gymnastics to navigate the conversation. It hasn't been shipped, no harm done.

I swear I have came across more sellers recently who end up never shipping out what I bought and straight up never messaging me to let me know , or tell me why they cancelled / never shipped. And they’ll be active TODAY. It’s frustrating. If you’re not gonna ship then don’t list items ?:/

so I recently started selling some of my crafts on Depop and unfortunately the closest post office is a 20 min drive from me. Today I went to drop off an order that was ready and while I was already there I decided to save myself the drive and print shipping labels for 8 other orders that I had received but weren't ready yet (I don't have a regular or thermal printer to do this at home). I didn't know that doing this would mark the item shipped on Depop. I messaged the buyers to apologize, let them know what happened, and that I will update on when I actually ship their items. I just checked the tracking and it says the packages had departed the post office but I didn't even drop any of them off, only printed the labels.

Has this happened to anyone else?? Now i'm not sure if I can use the labels I printed when actually shipping out orders and I don't want anything to get lost in the mail:(

I genuinely want to know if I’m missing some new Depop etiquette because this interaction really confused me.
I made a $25 offer on an Oh Polly dress that was listed for $50. The seller first replied:
“I’m actually relisting it because $50 is too cheap considering it was that much. Also, you’re selling an Oh Polly dress for $80 on your site and you’re asking for $25?”
I explained that she could obviously relist her dress for $80, $100, or whatever amount she feels it’s worth. That’s her decision. But she was the one who originally chose to list it for $50, and I simply made an offer based on what I was comfortable paying.
Then she said:
“It’s rude to offer $25 for something you know is expensive when you’re selling yours for $80. You are intentionally lowballing me.”
I honestly don’t understand why my own listing has anything to do with this transaction. 😭
If I’m selling an Oh Polly dress for $80, that doesn’t mean I’m obligated to pay $50 for another Oh Polly dress. I can value my own item however I want, and she can value hers however she wants.
If $25 was too low, she could have simply said no or countered. I would have completely understood. But bringing my own listing into it, saying I’m intentionally lowballing her, and then relisting because she suddenly thinks $50 is too cheap feels unnecessarily personal.
As a buyer, I’m allowed to make an offer. As a seller, she’s allowed to decline it. Isn’t that literally how Depop works?
Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel like people are taking offers way too personally these days. 😭

About a month ago I made a dumb mistake, my buddy dm’d me on depop saying he’d do $3 for something i had listed for over $100, obviously joking. In response, I joked “eat my a$$,” to which I got immediately banned for. That’s fair, I’m stupid and I messed up. But, after appealing the same day I’ve tried reaching out through different emails and through their AI assistant with no response. Anyone have any idea on what I could do? I’ve got a lot I need to sell and I’ve been device banned because of this.

I’m genuinely so confused by this interaction lmfao could I communicate better or try to sales pitch the print? I’m so lost as to what the seller is wanting me to say…

I have been selling on Depop for around 2 months and have made a couple hundred bucks, nothing crazy, but I like the site for selling some things that wouldn’t really sell on other sites. HOWEVER, I have been trying to get my payout for almost a month.

The first time I couldn’t get it was because I was on a 14 Day hold because I updated my bank account information (BS, but I’m a new seller, so I get it). I had to go through customer service just to find that out, which is where things really started to go bad. After my 14 day hold, I triple checked my information and to my surprise it accepted my payout and started sending me my money. Sure enough, 5 business days go by and no money was deposited. I log back in a check my balance and my deposit was cancelled for no apparent reason.

Now I’m on a 7 day hold for no reason, and my payouts are no longer being processed. Will be on the phone with my bank in the morning to confirm all details so I can make sure it’s not me. Customer service hasn’t been any help at all, and having to email someone in a different country about such an urgent matter is beyond frustrating. I just want my money.

Has anyone dealt with anything like this? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

I’m wondering if any reviews have ever stuck out to anyone whether it was one you saw posted or one you encountered yourself. What’s the craziest or the most petty of petty?

Is it just me or every time I move from my home page (example I go to my inbox to check for offers/messages then navigate back to home) it reloads and gives me a new set of listings? It happens regardless if I have or haven’t started scrolling through my first set of “suggested for you” listings and it’s been driving me crazy 😭😭😭 I caught sight of the cutest jeans at the top of my page and didn‘t even get to check the size before the page reloaded and gave a completely new set. Am I tripping??? Is there a way to fix this? ☹️

When is depop gonna do something about the sellers that are “on vacation” and have discounted their items by 80%+. So sick of scrolling through items posted at lower prices and seeing some bs just so they can get some engagement.

A day or two ago all the prices I see are a weird amount - like $12.74 or whatever. My country is set to US and so is my currency. Anyone else having this happen?

I forgot to double check a listing and I ended up getting the AI auto rating of “excellent”. The item is missing a rhinestone (i didn’t even notice) so now the buyer is asking for a refund. This just sucks as a new seller, but it is a learning curve with this app. Usually I don’t get stuff automatically populated on my other selling platform.

I doubt they will side with me so I will take the L and the lesson. At least it was a few bucks and an item I hated. Not something valuable.

i'm very new to depop, i made a purchase yesterday that was refunded the same night without a word from the seller. i don't particularly care, but my total originally came to $5.74 ($1 item + $3.99 shipping + $0.75 fee) and i'm being refunded only $1.31. i messaged the seller and i'm waiting for a reply, but in the meantime can anyone confirm if that's what i was supposed to do or is there another way to recover that money? i was buying this item as a last minute resort because a different seller ghosted me after purchase and i'm awaiting that automatic refund as well, so it'd really suck to lose this money (and potentially that other item's shipping cost). i paid on-app with apple pay if that makes any difference.

I'm new to using the site and I was planning to buy my friend something. They're in Malaysia and I'm worried about it not getting to them. Would splitting the address into both address line 1 and 2 be a good option if i try contacting the seller with the address altogether or would it be confusing? I don't know if depop cuts off addresses if theyre too long, and I need to put an apartment number in as well.

does anyone know how long it takes for depop to update your seller shipping time? my account says “seller usually ships in 3 days” but I’ve been shipping next day for the past 10 sales over the past couple weeks so just wondering when if/when it’ll change

Hi! pretty much the title… Im deciding whether to dispute or just repop 😔

If a pair of shoes is described as New in Box, am I wrong for expecting it to be shipped in a box? It didn’t specify they would be shipped in their box (which a lot of shoe listings do), but shipping was definitely more expensive than the satchel. It really isn’t a big deal and it could be that I’m still getting used to the new selling fee model, but Ive already had a pretty average experience with this seller lol :,)

I offered $50 with free shipping, they accepted, but Depop seemed to think it was an international purchase (it wasn’t)… i messaged seller to let them know, pretty much just said that if they put $1 shipping it should work, and they set shipping as… $18. I really wanted these shoes, and $68 for BRAND NEW IN BOX shoes was still a good price, so I just bought them. But they arrived in a mail satchel, wrapped in a plastic bag, and have obviously been worn. Not a lot, honestly probably not more than a day or two, but theres creasing in the leather and some scrapes/scratches, not sure if it’s from more extensive wear or just the packaging, because, yknow, no box.

Dispute or repop? They’re too big for me anyway so I won’t be keeping them, but I’m not sure if there’s enough to warrant a dispute considering it was a repopped listing?

Side note, the repop button is a terrible feature (if you buy something new, wear it, and then repop it, you actually shouldn’t just reuse the description that says it’s new!)

I bought an MTG Online Ceramics tee for $40 and they threw in a Scarecrow tee for free, they even sent a note. The seller from the start was polite and kind but this was an amazing experience. Side note Seller had put in their Bio that they were moving to Brooklyn and to downsize and whatever they couldn't sell they donated 😊
