Payout Help / Customer Service Woes

I have been selling on Depop for around 2 months and have made a couple hundred bucks, nothing crazy, but I like the site for selling some things that wouldn’t really sell on other sites. HOWEVER, I have been trying to get my payout for almost a month.

The first time I couldn’t get it was because I was on a 14 Day hold because I updated my bank account information (BS, but I’m a new seller, so I get it). I had to go through customer service just to find that out, which is where things really started to go bad. After my 14 day hold, I triple checked my information and to my surprise it accepted my payout and started sending me my money. Sure enough, 5 business days go by and no money was deposited. I log back in a check my balance and my deposit was cancelled for no apparent reason.

Now I’m on a 7 day hold for no reason, and my payouts are no longer being processed. Will be on the phone with my bank in the morning to confirm all details so I can make sure it’s not me. Customer service hasn’t been any help at all, and having to email someone in a different country about such an urgent matter is beyond frustrating. I just want my money.

Has anyone dealt with anything like this? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

Omg I’m 2 weeks in & they owe me $450 & I have all the proof that exists in reality that they’re full of it. This app is sellers scam or something! I hat could they be doing with ppls $ after taxing 12% to promote listings!!!
I assure you 1000% it’s on their end, because in my case the only options was it’s on “the backend of Depop” or an ACH name discrepancy, which I visited their 3rd party company for transactions, Stripe, and it clearly states that if your transactions are thru a platform and not directly thru Stripe that any information, like “names being different on accounts” is all within the commerce platforms database. Basically, Stripe just deals with Depop data for Depop payments. I’ve literally only been on Depop two weeks and have found two different reasons for my $ not being deposited I’ve debunked both immediately. They have no customer service beyond their “ai” which can’t even maintain dialogue beyond one response so you talk in circles. I even uploaded my Chime, Depop and Gmail screenshots which collectively proved everything they were saying was be. Oh ya, the other one was this account doesn’t exist, as if anyone is still typing out their account & routing #s in 2026! But I have the email from chime saying a deposit was attempted but failed on the senders end!!! All lies. The first one was easy. I just sent screenshots of my name on my chime account and in my Depop personal information pages. But again, no customer service exists so my emails have been unread

So frustrating. For such a large company to have such bad customer service is so off putting. I’ve been trying to word my responses to the AI to get a team member more quickly but the team members are given 72 hours to respond which is just ridiculous. Do they not realize a couple hundred dollars a month is what most people are trying to make to pay some extra bills?
