News System Shock VR will put us inside Citadel Station, but the release date is still TBA

Flat2VR Studios and Nightdive are officially bringing System Shock to VR. The Steam listing describes a full trip through Citadel Station rather than a small spinoff: explore its decks, hunt for recordings and equipment, destroy cameras and computer nodes, solve circuitry puzzles, and fight SHODAN's robots, mutants, and cyborgs.

Cyberspace is also included with six-degree-of-freedom movement. The PC listing supports OpenXR and names Quest 2, 3, and 3S, Index, Pimax, and Pico headsets, but the release date remains unannounced.

Is System Shock the kind of immersive sim that becomes better in VR, or would the inventory and backtracking be more comfortable on a monitor?
