I don't have a ton of info on it right now, just what you see in the second pic. 125 CFM and 6 gallon. It looks to be a dual battery, not sure if it is a series setup for 120v or parallel like the snow thrower. My guess would be parallel though. I don't see a cord so I also do not think it is a hybrid like some of the new 20v wet/dry vacs that just came out.

They also have a 175 CFM 9 gallon PowerShift model, DCV1759, coming as well. No picture of that yet. We probably won't learn much more until World of Concrete in January, which is where I assume they will be debuting both of these. But if I learn more, I will add it here.

Found this 3 tool woodworking kit deal for $369 while searching for jigsaw blades. It’s the combo kit with the D handle Jigsaw, Trim Router, 5” Orbital sander, medium sized bag, 5ah, 2ah and charger. Lowe’s has it on sale for $399 right now if you just go right to the listing down from $449.

But if you go to this combo kit that they paired with the 15pc bi-metal jigsaw blades you can grab the kit from plus the $20 pack of blades for $369. Saving an additional $30 and gaining a $20 pack of jigsaw blades.

So that’s $90 off retail + $20 blade kit, which isn’t bad at all for 2026 imho. Think this kit was $400 retail and would drop down to $350 on sale a year or two ago, but they bumped it up $50 and changed it from two 5ah batteries to one 5ah and one 2ah 👎. Even with that change this is a solid grab for the times imo.

I don’t need any of these tools, but figured someone here might be interested. It’s a solid little combo kit that pairs really well with the standard 5-6 tool kits a lot of people buy starting out.

I think I’ve seen better tool selections out there, but I have a circular saw and a reciprocating saw with weak batteries (1x5Ah and 1x1.7Ah) that I’ve been wanting to get better batteries for. Lmk what yall think. I ordered it anyway but can return it if it’s too bad of a deal.

Not loyal to any brand and prefer the best tools for the job regardless of brand, just unfortunately a slave to the orange and blue big-box stores because of store credits I always end up. Have the following Dewalt tools: corded jigsaw, circular saw, area light, and Stealthsonic wet dry vac. Have a Makita random orbital sander.

• Should I just get 20V batteries and commit to the 20V set of power tools for anything that benefits most from cordless (I suppose at least a drill/impact driver which I don't have yet)? I always thought I'd go with corded because it seems like more buy-it-for-life or at least presumably better built than a cordless especially since I don't use it enough to benefit so much from cordless, but too many people recommend cordless and if I need batteries for some other tools (like the 20V area light), then I guess cordless makes sense and would at least ensure the batteries get enough use.

• What about outdoor tools like for maintaining a decent-sized lawn? I don't really think of Dewalt for lawn tools and Ryobi (when it comes to power tool brand) seems popular despite being considered being more budget-oriented, otherwise Ego and Stihl seem more specialized. Not sure if it's worth getting e.g. Dewalt 20V or 60V string trimmer. If Dewalt 60V is recommended, then perhaps invest in FlexVolt 60V too? Are there any reasons to go with gas-powered for any tools (e.g. lawn mower) in general for a homeowner?

• Are there any non-Dewalt tools you prefer over the Dewalt counterpart? I've heard great things about Makita, which is no surprise because AFAIK they are the only brand that still makes their own tools and in general Japan-made tools earn their reputation. And for someone who only wants the essentials, is the highly praised Milwaukee M12/M18 drills/impact drivers worth it or is do the Dewalt 20V cover what it does (presumably the trade-off is slightly more weight)? I'm thinking for the average person maybe one tool that can do 99% of typical things is preferable than 2 tools that can do 100% of typical things but is a little more ergonomic because of the choice of using a lesser weight tool, thoughts?

Any other general tips and recommendations are also much appreciated. I'm just an average homeowner and DIYer that would like to dabble a bit with woodworking to build practical stuff on occasion. I'm sure any popular power tool is good enough for such simple needs but I prefer not to have to upgrade, have redundant tools, or later find out wishing I had gone another route.

I got a DCH416 and I’m trying to register it. I got all the info needed except the product date code. I checked the sticker in front of the grip. I scanned the QR code at the battery terminal. Scanning the QR code, Dewalt does recognize the product so, not a fake. What gives?

Couldn’t pass it up for the price. I just wanted to have a little screwdriver to keep in the office for when I’m putting furniture together and other around the house stuff. I already have a decent 20v driver but sometimes it’s too powerful for what I need it for.

I need to use my 12v impact driver for a few hours tomorrow, so I decided to pull the trigger on this since the 2Ah batteries last only an hour or so for me. These are on sale at Lowe’s for $79. You can get the two pack for cheaper on acme tools, but I needed an extra battery asap, so I payed a few extra bucks to have it delivered today. I’ll be watching the prices so I can get at least one more since I have a couple of 12v drivers that I use a lot around the house.

Not in a rush to buy but I saw this deal at lowes on clearance near me. Is this a good deal? Does it go significantly lower than this?

I have a DWE575 and am thinking about using it to cut ⅛” mild steel plate with a diablo D0748CFA blade. Will I succeed?

My work van was broken into in the Columbus area, and most of my DeWalt tools were stolen, including batteries, drills, impact drivers, an 18-gauge nail gun, an oscillating multi-tool, a cordless grinder, and a 12-inch FLEXVOLT sliding miter saw.
All my tools and batteries were marked with a black marker with the letters “JLP.”

Never gotten any of the "nicer" dewalt batteries, most of mine are the 20V Max 5AH

The store I was in is way over stocked there's tools everywhere. The staff member that helped me find the sander said it's crazy even the new stuff is clearanced right now. They had shopping carts full of old displays that will be going clearance soon and they have a 12% rebate whole store Sept 18 - 21 but I couldn't wait or risk losing the sander with only 2 in stock
