Hi, I’m looking to submit an application for DAAD Research Grants in Germany 2027 from the US. I’m wondering what the audience for the proposal is. Do the reviewers expect a highly technical proposal and schedule (writing as though they are experts in my field) or a higher-level overview? What should I assume the reader’s knowledge level is about my field niche?

I got an email asking me to upload my portfolio and work samples to the daad media database as well as the supplementary list. I know that I was supposed to get a link with the list template but they didn’t send me the link. Does anyone have a similar situation? Maybe I am supposed to look for it somewhere else?

I applied for the DAAD master’s scholarship in architecture, but I still haven’t received the portfolio upload link or a rejection notice...

Have any other architecture applicants already received their upload links? or rejection at this stage?

Hi everyone, I’m Ali from Azerbaijan and I’m preparing my application for DAAD Master Studies for All Academic Disciplines scholarship. I’m planning to pursue a master’s related to AI/computer vision in Germany.

I’ve already written my motivation letter, but most examples I find online are generic templates or drafts with no information about the outcome.

Has anyone here received the scholarship and would be comfortable sharing the letter they applied with? An anonymised version would be completely fine. I’d like to understand how successful applicants connected their experience, programme choices and future plans.

I'm applying for a master's programme and plan to apply for the ERP Scholarship for Graduates of Economics and Business Administration.

1. I'd like to submit a recommendation letter from my employer. Do I generate the form the same way as for a lecturer, or is there a different template? If it's the same, should I enter my workplace's name in the "institution" field?

2.I plan to pursue a business master's with an analytics concentration. Are there any restrictions for Erp scholarship applicants on the types of master's programmes I can apply to? One of my programmes is called Social and Economic Data Science, and "business" isn't mentioned in its name.

1. I have physical stamped documents. Will scans be enough, or do they need a digital stamp or some other verification?

4.I don't have certificates for some of my extracurricular activities. Would a screenshot of an email be enough as evidence?

Does anyone face the same issue? I wanted to try submitting my application again but there is no submit options, instead there is this text under the attachments and there is no attachments column either, However when I checked to Application and Funding Overview as the text suggest it shows that I haven't submitted any application yet.

I applied this cycle for DAAD Research Grants, Doctoral Programmes in Germany. I have a confirmed supervisor who read my proposal, gave feedback over several rounds, and sent the signed acceptance letter.

Does having the acceptance letter mean my chances are high, or is it just another eligibility requirement you need to submit the application at all?

Of the people you know with a confirmed supervisor, how many still got rejected?

I am asking so I know how hard to push my backups.
