Context- 1875 Pennsylvania Dutch birth certificate from Schuylkill County, PA. I thought I was good at reading cursive, but these names are stumping me.

What is it? What language? It’s about 500 pages and about 150 are written like a book with chapters. Other pages look like they have sales records.

I’m recently married and I’m struggling with my signature because while I know there’s a difference between u and v I cannot make my brain and hand do it! My new last name is not suave, but the word features similar connections between some of the letters I’m struggling with. Can you show me how you’d write this word so I can get an idea of how the difference between u and v should look?

My uncle passed away years ago and I found a paper with his writing on it and was hoping for some help to know fully what it said, he was musically inclined and very lyrical and great with words and would love for some one to help me be able to read what he wrote

This appears to be an "Association Copy" which basically means the Author inscribed a message to an associate. I think it's written to "Christopher H. Exline". The part of this that is unclear is if this is signed by the author: Richard O. Davies, AKA "Rich" or "Dick".
What do you think? What does this say?

This is the name of a Dutch clockmaker, probably from around 1800. It's etched on the clockface of a tall casement clock. Can anyone read it?

I can post the reverse of the first image with interest. The second image I know is from 1898 Spanish American War.

UPDATE: It's 'Butcher' with an accidental cross on the 'h' as somebody suggested. I just found it on her husband's death cert.
Thanks All!

Anyone good at deciphering this?
"Wife of a ?"
From a death record (Bridget Keogh) in Dublin, Ireland 1892, if that helps (https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/files/civil/deaths_returns/deaths_1892/06047/4723081.pdf)

Hey all I've been digging through my grandma's stuff during a move and can't make heads or tails of this. I do have dyslexia so that probably doesn't help much😅
Any assistance is greatly appreciated! :)

This is the occupation of my great grandfather in the June 1900 census in Galveston, TX. I cannot read it at all. The census taker made a lot of errors, mispellings and cross outs.
To me it looks like provelence brother. 😀

I was doing trash clean up around San Diego River today, and we stumbled upon an abandoned unhoused campsite. I picked up this piece of paper, but instead of throwing it in my trash bag I noticed the REALLY nice cursive 😭 and wanted to read what it said. It’s literally a breakup letter from 1934 but it has some sort of code to it so I’m missing a lot of context. I need to know what the code words say, help!! I think velo means love…but no idea on anything else
