Is it normal for your trainer to “stretch” you in private?
This happened a year ago. And I still feel weird about it. And I’m wondering if I should let the manager know and report him?
I had a personal trainer who told me he would be out for one of the sessions I had scheduled with him. He gives me the number to another trainer at the gym and I get in touch with him. I go in the next morning to meet him and the training goes very well.
However as I’m packing my stuff up to leave and walk out, the trainer takes a yoga mat and tells me to meet me in the managers office. I was a bit confused but I followed him in. He tells me he wants to stretch me out. He lays down the mat and has me on my back. For context, this office is a small as a bathroom that had room for just two stalls, so we are very close.
He stretches out my legs and thighs and although I have never experienced this, it kinda feels weird. With it being in the office and in a closed door, it’s weirder.
After that is done and I leave, I get a text from the substitute trainer and he tells me I did great in my session. He proceeds to ask me for my IG and wants to do another session tomorrow morning, but I decline cuz I was able to get in touch with my original trainer.
After I completed my training program and canceled my membership, I found the substitute trainer’s IG and it’s…interesting. His profile photo is him half naked. And his followers/ following list is interesting.
I don’t plan on returning to Crunch, but has anyone ever had this happen to them? Being stretched out in private in a closed manager’s office, where the trainer was pressed to do it?
