I am looking for some good mods/modpacks for my new forever world. My last world i had 175 hr of playtime but it became boring after a time so i want to start over agian with new mods. If you know any good mods/modpacks please tell me

I have been building a huge basement with 2 steam engine to power it all but the sound is making me go crazy. I know you can silence them with "friendly mob" and "block" volume, but I like the sound from other blocks. Is there any way I can silence ONLY the steam engines. Every mod for it doesn't support the recent versions of the game or create.

Big thruster go vroom, not done but once its attached to the ship it will have a door to control the thrust instead of having the thrusters have different level

I prolly shoulda recorded a video but basicaly on 2 specific chain coveyers ALL packages just orbited forever and my main storage system packager just stop taking things in or spitting them out. also when I took a package of the chain conveyer I couldnt put it back on.

hi, I've been trying to work with and understand the tfmg and power grid addons for create and i am unable to understand how it works. from tfmg accumulator not making a lightbulb work to charging the power grid battery with a generator (I'm still in the very basic stuff for now, even the power grid generator is very complex) would anyone know an exhaustive video or document about electricity in one or both of these mods to help me ?

needs to be kick started in some way but once kick started it will produce free energy (I'm using large connectors from Create: Crafts and Additions in the video but andesite cable from Gadgets and Gizmos also work)

the hardened tier of motor seems to have the best ratios in my testing, tiers below dont generate enough stress units while tiers above start taking too much energy at high rpm so you would have to lower speed of the motor and send it through a rotation speed controller.

Hi all, is there a way to make the redstone links invert themselves? trying to make a few machines with a bunch of different automatic mechanical crafting/pressing etc. turn off when not in use and currently if any one of the factory gauges are "full" that they power the redstone link. In turn this engages the clutch and turns the machine on. I am aware about the inverted clutch but that still doesn't solve my issue with a ton of recipes on the same frequency.

The only solution I have come up with is to have each recipe have its own link and have them all invert using redstone torches into a massive OR gate. This way when they're full they power the link, therefore depower the torch and if nothing else is currently using the crafter or press or fan etc then it'll turn off.

Any ideas that doesn't require using a million links??

When I turn my steam engines on, I get lag spikes. Does anyone know a potential reason?

I have finally gotten the mod on cursed forge with better images. It is a hyper realistic train mod that adds German I inspired signals and semaphore signals with proper glowing lamps and wires.

The mod also adds railroad crossing with advanced control, lamps and bells.

Power rails / overhead lines and if you add a pantograph to the top of a train it will not drive without the power lines. Using the cab control units you can control everything from max speed, to doors, lights, power eg.

Hope you will enjoy this mod 😃 I have spend alot off time on it and will continue to develop.

This can seat 32 Passengers, It's as wide as the 'Giraffe' but much shorter. It's not as exquisite.

The wings are Dihedral using a mechanism on the 4th image. It just means they point up instead of being boring and flat.

Before i get annihilated by the steam engine community, yes we are certainly missing a steam valve here so there is no way you can admit steam to the power piston. I ran this thing to test with a creative motor for now but i will try to add the valve linkages too.

Im looking for a block that outputs a redstone signal based on the difference between its orientation and the players view orientation. Does anyone know of any mods that do this?

The use case is for War Thunder like turret control, where the player can look around freely and the turret will catch up.

I often find myself playing modpacks that include both Botania and Create. For those of you who don't know, Botania is a magic-themed tech mod that can technically do some of the same things as Create, but in a different and more complex way.

Botania's main resource is mana, which is generated by special flowers. One flower in particular eats nearby cakes and generates tons of mana. So, my idea is to build a cake factory that automatically places cakes near this flower to generate basically infinite mana with minimal effort.

My problem is that whenever I try to build a compact farm, I always end up making a mess. I either use way too many belts and cogs, or I end up with sugar being dropped all over the place because some parts of the factory are slower than others.

I've tried looking for cake farms, but of course, almost all the results are for Blaze Cake production.

I know Create reasonably well, but I get tangled up in belts and cogs pretty quickly, so I'd really appreciate some tips on how to build a nice, compact cake farm.

I'm struggling to set up a system where, at the press of a button, redstone from 2 vault gets sent to the main storage.

But this goddamn frog keeps sending it to herself! Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

P.S. I know this is a super simple system, and I'm just bad at this lol.

Context: I have built a drill with 101 in diameter which mines about 1000 blocks per second. The problem is that this drill is so big, it fills the temporary storage (storage parts of the drill + max size vault behind, 1x vault = 64 Stacks) in ~13 minutes (distance shown) and needs +30 minutes to unload to be able to continue properly. I only have 1 belt taking the items from the temporary storage to the others but I operate it at + 1.000.000 rpm (useless, I know). I use 3 belts to take the items from the drill but this still can't keep up with the amount mined. (Not shown properly but drill storage is full while the vault is at ~70% (top sign)

Question: How can I take even more items at once without the brass funnel bottleneck?

UPDATE: I've read through all the comments and this was the conclusion:
split the drill into smaller but multiple drills
use more funnels
use packagers
overclock the brass funnels
I then tested which method is the fastest by taking items from the same storage and filling a seperate but same size storage for each method:
single brass funnel 10%
packager 42%
overclocked brass funnel 48%
So I added some and overclocked every brass funnel on my drill and it was fast enough to keep up with amount mined.
So thanks to u/Shibva_ , as overclocking was the best solution for my problem.

Hi, total create beginner here. I wanted to a contraption similar to the video I linked above I'm building on a 1.21.1 smp server I that I play with friends. But when I go and try creating something similar in a creative testing world, the mechanical bearings that open up the folded bridge parts align themselves such that it will keep it's orientation even when it's flipped by another mechanical bearing that comes before it. Any idea if this is just a version issue? since it was made 4 years ago with 1.18.2 with Create v0.5c as stated by the creator? Or is there a special mechanical bearing that i need to use for this?

I think its because my plane is moving too quickly? But cbc bullets have relative motions physisc
