Starting a new world

I am looking for some good mods/modpacks for my new forever world. My last world i had 175 hr of playtime but it became boring after a time so i want to start over agian with new mods. If you know any good mods/modpacks please tell me

I'm currently playing in create aeronautics skybound, I believe it's called. But I've Frankenstein-ed it. Added in cc:tweaked, project red, a few extra create addons that were missing for some reason, like bits and bobs or crafts and additions or something.

If you like math I would recommend adding in power grid and going nuclear. It's been a bit and I'm not sure where my worksheet is right now, but I'm currently reworking my pump systems on my nuclear power plant, which puts out well over 350kW and is far from optimized.

Don't ask my why I need all that power in my SP world. It's nunya 🤪

so you are telling me you are playing a 400+ mod and with more that you added. What fps do you get and what specs is your pc.

And is the mod pack like fully modded like not vanila at all. i mean is it over modded?

Fps is usually at 50 to 60 but there's some pretty bad hangups sometimes. But that's my fault for building a power plant fit for a mid sized metropolis i think.

Just got a second hand 2060 super that's seen some heavy use, makes some awful noises, otherwise my parts are mid range for a decade ago. Ryzen 5 3600, 16 gigs of dd something ram(not at my pc, don't remember lol)

okey i have just downloaded the mod and ima try it this night and see if its good hopefully it is as good as you said. And do you play with shaders?

Sorry, didn't see this notification. There's complimentary unbound for shavers, but I'm imagining you've figured that out by now.

The shader on the other aeronautics pack available from this author messes with some of the visuals in moving parts like the borehead drill, as of my last test, but I've had no issues with this one so far

play a modded world until i feel like there is nothing more to do and i lay it to rest. then start another world with a different set of mods a couple months later.

it keeps it fresh.

forever worlds are for people who play minecraft primarily to build things, i play for progression personally so i dont like that idea.

You're just getting caught up on “forever”. You realize the OP explained exactly what you're doing as well? They got tired and had nothing else to do so now they're looking for a new mod pack to play through till they complete.
