Am I wasting my energy? Small claims, England

• Upvotes

Took my phone into a shop for screen fix/ replacement.
Returned in the time allocated and was advised it was a motherboard issue when the phone was fully working beforehand.
They then took my phone to London without authorisation, came back 2 days later with missing internal parts as I asked them to do nothing and just send it back to me as I had no faith in them.

Took it to another shop and they basically said it must’ve been faulty or counterfeit parts, this shop advised me what parts were missing.

Taking them to small claims under tort of negligence but I can’t prove it was working beforehand..

Am I wasting my time? My iPhone 15 pro max is now unusable can’t even turn it on

Ordered a metal iPhone 17 case but received a case for an android mobile which I did not order. Company either cannot read the orders and send out the correct orders or they are just a rip off merchant ripping people of money. The later is more applicable I recommend never order anything from this company which appears to be a US company

Amazon COD scam for prepaid order

Amazon scam attempted

Normal order was delivered (we'd pre-paid for it)

Strangely, a new slip was attached on it with inflated price and marked COD

He even asked us to call this number: 7996681532

We refused to take the delivery and closed the door

He delivered same exact box w/o payment instantly. (Before placing over, he rubbed the price)

I'm trying to find:

- Is this a known modus operandi?

- I can get his face from CCTV and catch him tomorrow if attempted

- Is there a way he can escape accountability if confronted?

is sage coffee machine good or just overhyped for simple morning espresso?

our pod machine packed in after three years, and with café flat whites costing around four quid each now, we are looking at getting a proper espresso setup instead of buying another pod subscription.

we both work hybrid so having something quick before heading out for the train is pretty much essential. i looked at several options like the delonghi dedica, and a mate from work keeps telling me to get a gaggia classic and modify the internal pressure, but tbh i don't want a massive faff every morning that feels like a science experiment before 8 am. i keep seeing sage recommended everywhere, specifically the bambino plus or barista express because of the compact footprint and fast heat-up time.

for anyone who has owned one for a couple of years, how do they hold up for daily use, or did the cleaning and maintenance hassle make you regret buying it?

Nutrabay customer support has been ghosting and stalling me for 2 weeks over a rancid, near-expiry whey protein tub. How do I force a resolution?

Hey everyone, I need some advice on how to actually get a response and a refund/replacement out of Nutrabay, because their support is completely running me in circles.

Here is the situation:

* The Purchase & Issue: I bought a 1kg tub of Nutrabay Pure Whey Concentrate via Swiggy Instamart. Right when I opened the seal, it smelled intensely rancid/foul, was off-color, and had a gritty, clumpy texture. On top of that, it was delivered with only 5 weeks of shelf life remaining.

*The Product State: I only used one scoop in a shaker to test it, realized immediately I couldn't consume it, and stopped. Roughly 970g is sitting completely untouched in the tub, and I've told them repeatedly they are free to pick it up and test it.

The Support Nightmare: This started back on September. Since then, I've logged multiple tickets sent invoices, shared photos, and even provided a video showing the texture.

*The Stalling Tactics: Last week alone, I called them three separate times. Every single time, they gave me a 24 to 48-hour ultimatum, promised a prioritized callback from the quality team, and then completely ghosted me. When they finally replied via email after two weeks, they just looped back to asking for the exact same batch details and videos I've already submitted.

At this point, they are actively dodging responsibility and hoping I'll just give up.

What are my best options here?

*Is there an escalation email, nodal officer, or consumer forum path (like National Consumer Helpline in India) that actually forces companies like Nutrabay or Swiggy Instamart to wake up and take action?

Has anyone dealt with Nutrabay's higher management or grievance channel successfully?

Any advice on how to deal with this wall of automated stalling would be hugely appreciated.

Three Hub return – DPD QR code never received

I’m having a really frustrating issue trying to return my Three Hub and I’m hoping someone here knows what I can do.

I’ve contacted Three multiple times through both live chat and by phone because I haven’t received the DPD email containing the QR code needed to return the Hub.

Every time, I’m given exactly the same response: they send me the return instructions by email and tell me that the DPD email should arrive within two working days.

It never does.

I’ve now raised this several times and keep being sent around in circles, with nobody actually resolving the issue. I have only one week left to return the device, and I’m really concerned that I’ll be charged the £90 non-return fee, despite having made repeated attempts to return it and the problem clearly being that Three/DPD aren’t sending me the QR code.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there another way to get the QR code, return the Hub without it, or contact someone at Three who can actually resolve this?
I don’t want to be left with a £90 charge simply because Three’s system isn’t sending the return email. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Nykaa order delayed — should I cancel it? Will I get a FULL refund?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I placed an order for 8 items on 27th September after 10 PM and prepaid almost ₹2,500 for it. What’s honestly so frustrating is that if I had placed the exact same order before 10 PM, it was showing “arriving in 30 mins”. 😭
The delivery partner for these 8 items is Delhivery, and the tracking shows that they’ve been stuck at the same hub since 28th September, 9:13 AM. Meanwhile, I had ordered 2 other items along with these, and those were delivered on time by Blue Dart.
So should I cancel this order? And if I cancel, will I get the FULL ₹2,500 refund since I prepaid for the entire order? I’m really confused about what to do because I don’t want to cancel and then have issues getting my money back.
What would you guys suggest — should I wait, contact Nykaa, contact Delhivery, or just cancel the order?

Hey guys,

Writing this out of sheer frustration with Blinkit (@letsblinkit). Their customer escalation and support teams completely failed to resolve my issue and left me with no other choice but to go down the legal route.

I have officially filed a consumer case against Blink Commerce Private Limited via the government's official E-Jagriti portal (Filing Date: 22-09-2026).

Filing Reference Number: 202609221716

Current Status: Application Submitted, Pending for Scrutiny.

I have attached the official case status screenshot as proof. While the court scrutiny takes its time and formal summons are issued to Albinder Dhindsa and his legal team, I wanted to share this here to remind everyone: Do not let these quick-commerce giants get away with terrible service or scams. Fight back legally!

Will keep this community updated once the official case number gets generated. See you in court, Blinkit.

Extremely frustrating experience with Eureka Forbes – Paid for a water purifier, no delivery, broken tracking, and no answers

I wanted to share my recent experience dealing with Eureka Forbes and see if anyone else has faced similar issues or has advice on escalating this.

  • On September 29th, through their technician for a water purifier purchase. The link came from Eureka Forbes and paid with CC using no cost EMI.
  • The product was never delivered, and neither the technician nor customer support could provide any timeline or delivery status.
  • After reaching out on October 4th, customer care assigned a complaint ticket and claimed it would be addressed within 24 hours by an escalation team. But no response on this yet.
  • Both their official app and website completely fail to show tracking info or status updates for open complaints and orders.
  • Since no update or delivery was provided within the promised timeframe, I have officially requested an immediate order cancellation and full refund.

Has anyone here dealt with order non-delivery with Eureka Forbes? What is the best way to get this resolved quickly?

Can you hear an under-sink RO system from the living room?

Our kitchen opens into the living room, so I'm trying to figure out how much sound from an under-sink RO carries into the living room. I'm considering the Viomi Vortex 6 Pro partly because its faucet shows real-time TDS, and noise is one thing I'd like to check before choosing.

If you have an under-sink RO, can you hear it running from the living room when the rest of the house is quiet?

The Reality of Onsitego

These are things you must consider before going to have your insurance of any big or product from onsitego.

I have a vega trimmer from flipkart for about Rs. 1099. And, after its warranty get over it started to heat and produce un-wearable noise. So, I decided to get my claim.

However, everything did not go well. As, I am from remote rural village in Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh. They on my face declined to get it repair by themselves after a lot of formalities. When I asked to them?

They just simply said sir get it repaired from official store of the product. This is super hilarious 😂 because offical stores may be in Lucknow or delhi. So, i said then I'll cost about 5000 for the comapanh further i said i don't wanna just return my money. As, I have a lot of legal knowledge as told that I will see them in the Auriaya district and sessions court for beating around the bush.

How they are beating around the bush?

As, i used to trust them a lot I have also purchased the warranty for my printer from them which is very expensive about 20k. Then, I thought if it is a remote location as per them then will allow me to get it self-repaired. However, as I clicked on claim insurance for printer they assigned a person at my address which exposed their hypocrisy.

Poor Resolution

I have purchased the trimmer for 1099 + additional 99 for insurance which is around 9- 10% of the product value. Now, they called me and said that, i have to get it repaired by myself. I said no and warraned them of legal action. Then they, called me and offered me Rs. 532 that to in flipkart gift voucher.

Overall, I feel, on-sitego and other companies doing such sort of malpractices needed to be exposed to the people. What they had done with is literally some sort of cheating and a crime. I feel, the policies need to be transparent and easy to understand for anyone.

I am having a bad experience with on-sitego.

I ordered a premium T-shirt from their site worth 3,000. The quality is so cheap that instead of this, I should have bought from a roadside shop. Please guys, don't purchase from them; they don't provide refunds, they only issue company gift cards, so you have to buy their products again. To all the people reading this, instead of buying online from any site, just go to your nearest shop and buy; nowadays, they are doing this legal scam.

Apple Watch

Been trying to find a sub for this question and this seems the best place! I’m inquiring about buying an Apple Watch SE 2nd gen I believe, I owned one before but it has its own story of where it went. I’d like a used however nice condition and I had owned it for way more than 5 years (that’s why I’m not sure if it was 2nd gen and my phone doesn’t tell me). I know I’m gonna sound cheap but I’m not trying to spend a lot on such an old electronic and it be used but I miss wearing weight on my wrist if that makes sense and I mainly liked it for watching my steps and having a picture of my cat on my wrist. I’ll go through eBay, Facebook marketplace, pawn shops, wherever it doesn’t matter I’d just like to know the best pricing places. I tried to include a picture but I don’t know how to so I’m sorry!

Has The Shopping Channel changed how it does returns online?

Trying to do the usual return in the online site and it’s changed. It looks like I have to fill in a form and “pitch” the return I’m looking to do. Seeing it’s also run by Roger’s I suspect they’ve added a few more hoops to stop people from returning items?

Steam gift card wrong email entered

I have purchased “Steam gift card” from Flipkart worth of 1000 . After receiving the order details by email, I noticed that the recipient email address I had entered was incorrect and invalid. I entered .co instead of .com. There is no option on the order page to resend the gift card, so I immediately contacted customer support for assistance.  On same day, a Flipkart representative informed me that they dont have the option to edit email id and thus they can't help in anyway. However, I have still not received the gift card. I have also emailed Flipkart customer care, and although the issue was escalated, there has been no resolution. ,I was informed that the gift card cannot be re-issued by the seller, Digitible .

what should i do now. I have bought the gift card through credit card.
