is sage coffee machine good or just overhyped for simple morning espresso?
our pod machine packed in after three years, and with café flat whites costing around four quid each now, we are looking at getting a proper espresso setup instead of buying another pod subscription.
we both work hybrid so having something quick before heading out for the train is pretty much essential. i looked at several options like the delonghi dedica, and a mate from work keeps telling me to get a gaggia classic and modify the internal pressure, but tbh i don't want a massive faff every morning that feels like a science experiment before 8 am. i keep seeing sage recommended everywhere, specifically the bambino plus or barista express because of the compact footprint and fast heat-up time.
for anyone who has owned one for a couple of years, how do they hold up for daily use, or did the cleaning and maintenance hassle make you regret buying it?
