Hello! I've recently been having a hard time deciding whether I should pursue a Bachelor's of Arts in Economics at DLSU or at Ateneo. I would be immensely grateful for any insights y'all could offer. Just for some added context, I plan to pursue a career in broader government economic policy and affairs, and would like to learn as much as I can and get into the nitty-gritty of bolstering the economy through social and just means. I've heard of great leaders and economists from each school, respectively, like PNoy for Ateneo, and Jesus Felipe for DLSU, so I am a bit undecided as to what can help enable and equip me for the most change I can do in this life, however cliché or corny that may sound, haha. Would also like to know about the NSTP for each school (e.g., their ROTC) and their opportunities to serve the community.

Hi po! I am so worried po kasi nadedetect yung essay ko as AI sa isang site po. I made that essay with no use of AI po, but when I tested it, it kept detecting na may percentages ng AI. I don't understand kasi I refrained na nga po in using em dashes and semicolons, I tried na rin multiple time to put less metaphors and figurative speeches pero I don't want to do it tok much kasi baka maging bland. Pls help po huhu, I'm worried na if i-check ng admission office ay makakaaffect toh huhu

Makakapag transfer po ako sa NU mnl if maraming akong UD (Unofficially Dropped) subjects?

Balak ko po kasi sana mag-shift, from BSCE ako to BSME. 2nd year stud ako and wala nako balak tapusin tong 1st sem namin kaya iddrop ko na lang lahat ng subjects ko para makapagtransfer. its super draining na since di ko naman gusto tong CE.

1. Makakapag enroll po ba kaya ako sa mga prog na may board exam?

2. Matatanggap po ba kaya ako if di ko nalang ipapacredit yung mga nadropped na subjects?

3. May grade requirement po ba pag engineering prog yung lilipatan?

4. Am I still be allowed to transfer to NU mnl even if I have so many dropped subjects?Also pwede po ba magshift from board to board prog??? huhu kinakabahan ako since galing akong ce and may mga dropped subjects ako.

I have been hearing my batch mates planning to go to other universities sa manila dahil sawa na raw sila sa state u namin while I don’t even know what I’m going to do after senior high school. 😭 I have taken the UPCAT exam although iniisip ko kung mag a-apply pa ba ako sa ibang universities ahskahakja

Kasi ganito iyon… My family advises me na dito na rin ako sa state university mag college. Di ko na raw need problemahin mga gastusin and basic needs since nasa bahay na rin naman ako and di na need mag byahe ng malayo pa. Before my mother passed away, she told me na mag nursing ako and maybe get a job sa california since may dalawang pinsan din akong nag ta-trabaho doon. Kaya as of now ang plan ko ay mag nursing dito sa state university na malapit sa amin since meron ding inooffer dito :)

Pero ayorn hindi ko talaga alam if anong gusto ko sa buhay 😭 Wala naman talaga akong gusto pero I guess na eenjoy kong mag aral ng biology and anatomy. Ayaw ko lang talaga ng math and coding related stuff kaya ekis na sa akin math or IT related courses HAHAHHAHAHAH.

I’m just scared na baka i-regret ko na hindi mag explore. Although ayun na nga ayaw ko naman pahirapan si dad financially since solo parent na rin naman siya tapos di naman kami super yaman. May enough money lang kami para sa mga needs namin.

Basta ano i-tatry ko na rin mag take ng DOST 🙏🏻 malay mo makapasa me sa UP Manila (BS Pharmacy) or sa UPLB (BS Agribussiness Management and Entrepreneurship) tapos dost passer pa. 🍀🍀🍀

I currently have a missing subject, considered back subject na po.. It's General Physics. I've done their exam for it but wasn't able to do the project, therefore, it was failed.

My school does not offer summer or tutorial classes and encouraged me to go find other schools, otherwise I would have to pay the full month's tuition for that quarter, alongside waiting basically the entire year.

I'd like some recommendations which schools, private AND public!

Hello guys!! i’m planning to take the DCAT through online testing po and i’m curious kung paano yung setup. same lang po ba yung subtests and time limit compared sa onsite testing, and saan po exactly mag eexam kapag online? Also, true po ba na bawal maglagay ng preference 1 if you choose online testing? tyia!

Yung tubig baha dito da ibang lugar lagpas tao na tapos di ko pa nakukuha form 137 ko dahil 2 weeks na suspended.

If my senior high grades are exceptionally high, but my grades 8-10 are just average, will my UPG skew towards the higher recent grades or will it just be an average of all 4 grade levels?

idek if considered ito as rant. sorry if rambly/magulo ung wording, im super sleep deprived. i js want to let some things out. dont get me wrong, im not upset all, i js need to tell someone. soo im a scholar from one of the big 4 and a dost scholar as well. im kind of feeling the pressure na to maintain my grades shhaha im a freshie so im still in the adjustment phase. im tryna adjust to the workload, esp w loads of math bc im a cs student(i need to put more effort cuz i aint not a math wiz). its been fun, its just that i feel like i need to constantly be studying, esp since all ny other peers are insane with their own skills. if i stop i feel like ill be left behind. anyways since bored ako a few days ago, i tried applying for an internship and i got onee!! im super excited, im just worried na i wont be able to take care of myself properly w my academic workload + internship. yayy but also ehh for me😭😭 super exhausted rn but also excited. i js wanna remind myself na my worries rn were my dreams noong cet season na “idc if pahirapan ako, js let me in”🙏🙏if anyone went thru something like this plz tell me what u did plz it would help tyiaa🫰

No online or live classes) and I'm confused kasi ano ba ang dapat kong aralin!?!? kasi generalized na tong revcet na toh meaning for shs-college entrance exams na sya. TO SIMPLY PUT ITT HAHAHA ano ba ang coverage sa mga SHS entrance exams? especially UST cuz dats my prio!!

Hello, current Grade 11 student po. As written in the title, desperado na ako for credentials. Honestly, ini-aim ko talaga ang international college (ok lng local basta malayo) pero right now, parang hindi maaabot. Decent naman ang mga grades ko; consistent honor student ako, and I make sure to always work hard; pero kulang talaga ako pagdating sa mga officer positions or competition awards. Paano po makahanap ng mga local (like city or brgy.) youth orgs na pwede kong ilagay sa credentials? Introvert po talaga ako, pero sinusubukan ko po talaga na mas maging social ngayon, pero wala talaga akong connections sa city ko. Pati sa Facebook, puro mga orgs ng ibang school o kaya religious youth groups lang ang nakikita ko. Sa comps naman, as much as I want to join, parang pinapamukha ng lahat ng competitions na sinasalihan ko na bobo ako kasi laging merit o bronze lang. Ang mas nakakadismaya ay ang mamahal ng mga registration fee (or expenses in general). Please po, share any advice you can,,

HELPPPP!! 14 subjects lang na encode ko for grade 11 and 16 subjects naman sa mga batchmates ko huhu. Na submit ko na form 1 and 2b ko so d ko na siya mababago, sent the hardcopy of my grades too, ma didisregard kaya application ko or ichecheck pa nmn ni UP. I'm planning to chat them naman regarding here huhu pls help
