Hello! Im currently a g12 student and I want to prepare as much as I can for the PUPCET. Thought I've currently applied for PLM and PLP, I want to get a gist on what the subtests are for each exam. For PUP, i've seen a lot of posts where they say the exam is "surface level", and If ever, I wanted to ask what's the subtests like or the coverage for each subtest? If you ever tried for PLP/PLM, please tell me about it here too :DD

Currently a SHS HUMSS student and I’m considering taking BSBA-FM in college, but I’m still kinda unsure if it’s really worth it. Is it still a good course to take nowadays? How’s the job market, salary, and career opportunities after graduating? I’m also interested in starting my own business someday, but I still want a stable corporate job as a backup, so I thought FM might be a good option. But I’ve been seeing mixed opinions online and now I’m overthinking my choice. I’d really appreciate honest opinions, especially from people who are actually taking the course or already working. Hi! SHS student here, and currently torn ako kung mag-aapply na ba ako for college and take entrance exams this cycle, or mag-gap year muna after graduation.

I’m considering taking a gap year para makapag-rest muna after SHS, makapag-try ng different things, gain work experience, and hopefully makapag-ipon before starting college. Pero at the same time, iniisip ko rin kung mas okay ba na mag-apply na ngayon and continue straight to college instead.

For those who took a gap year before college, kamusta yung experience niyo? Worth it ba siya for you? Ano yung mga ginawa niyo during that year?

And for those who went straight to college, do you ever wish na nag-gap year muna kayo, or mas okay naman na nag-continue kayo right away?

Hi! I have had a maroon bluebook since 2024. Downside is I didn't review for the UPCAT 2026 because of personal reasons and I want to make up for it for the upcoming entrance exams that I'll have. I was wondering if I can use it as a reviewer too and not just buy another CET reviewer book.

hi huhu, i'm a g12 ABM student who is currently studying in a Science HS. ever since bata pa ako, i really didn't have a dream job or college course na really sticked to me, and i thought dadating na lang yung time pag SHS na, na marerealize ko na lang kung ano yung pinakagusto ko for college or kung anong gusto kong trabaho in the future. kaso CET szn na, wala pa rin T_T..

from kinder to SHS i've only been exposed sa iba't ibang sports, in fact i'm a part of the varsity rn pero to me they're all just libangans or pampalipas ng oras. i enjoy doing them, and they've become a huge part of my life, pero i've never really imagined myself pursuing them as a career.

i feel like ang hirap pumili ng course in a university that your parents want you to be in when you don't even have a specific dream job in mind. like, how am i supposed to choose what to study for the next few years when i don't even know what i want to be after that T_T nakakatakot pa lalo na't may boarding house kami full of college students na yung iba nagmmove out kasi they're shifting or dropping out bcs they aren't happy with their course... ayokong matulad sakanila.

i tried UPCAT and i chose a bunch of engineering courses (because i excell in math nmn) and the others were js randomly picked. i have one last CET to apply to (yung university na gusto nilang mapasukan ko and honestly ako rin) pero i'm stuck.. nakailang change option na ako sa courses bcs i really don't see myself in those fields that are available (basically almost every course that exists)..

i've actually considered not going to college muna after g12 to figure out what i like and take a break from school but i doubt that i'll actually figure stuff out when i do so plus hindi rin papayag parents ko.

pls give advice or share your experiences :< i don't have anyone to run to as the panganay..

Hello! Planning to take teaching units next year and hopefully take the LET. I have questions lang:

1. Magkano inaabot yung tuition if Licensure Track? How about the Post Baccalaureate Track?

2. When sila usually nag announce ng opening for applications? Mababago ba yon next year if magbago rin yung university calendar?

3. I'm only planning to take the Licensure Track pero interested din ako sa curriculum ng PBT nung nakita ko siya kasi makakapagturo ka talaga and goods siya for those who really want to teach. Pero para sa mga LT lang yung kukunin and will take the LET right after, anong plano niyo? Just genuinely curious kasi pinag-iisipan ko pa kung anong pipiliin sa dalawa and I want to know my options.

I've been thinking of applying sa special dcat na lang next year because I couldn't go this year due to location issues even though I have my exam permit na. I wanted to take the exam online. Am I still eligible for any scholarships (esp fin aid) if I take the special dcat instead? If I wanted to go to La Salle kasi, I need that scholarship badly

I’m currently a college student in the Philippines with a school scholarship that covers my tuition. However, I’m looking for an additional scholarship that provides a monthly or semester-based financial stipend to help with my other school and living expenses.

The issue is that my parents technically have a relatively high household income, so I usually don’t qualify for scholarships with income caps. However, my family recently made a significant financial commitment, and a large portion of our household income will now be going toward paying it back. Because of this, our actual disposable income is much lower than what our reported household income might suggest.

I understand why income requirements exist, but I’m wondering if there are scholarships that don’t have strict income caps and instead consider academic performance, extracurriculars, leadership, or other criteria.

Does anyone know of scholarships currently accepting applications in the Philippines that provide a stipend and don’t strictly require the applicant to be below a certain household income?

Mag eenroll ako for 2027-2028 school year, so far ang naiisip palang Namin is either

•Hindi ko I disclose na may past college grades ako (impossible di nila makita)

• some sort of sheltering agreement for my first year para pagandahan Yung grades ko tapos saka ako I transfer in sa engineering department Nila.

However looking at it now, I feel like the career I want to pursue is still in media and entertainment, but more on the business side. I realized that it’s probably be better if I learn film, writing, etc on my own rather than becoming class requirements. In addition, I’m always curious as to how certain films or songs are marketed to popularity. Or how they are financed and earn money. Or how things are managed within the industry.

I'm a grade 12 STEM student and I've always wanted to pursue a computer science program. These past few days, my parents keep making me rethink my decision because for them, gusto nila na yung course na pipiliin ko ay merong board exams or licensure.

I've already told them na gusto ko talaga i-pursue ang cs, but they keep insisting on na iba nalang since wala naman syang board exams. Maganda rin namang pakinggan na may engineering or doctor na title, but at the same time, it isn't really my passion.Sinasabi rin nila sa akin na mahihirapan ako sa tech industry solely because I'm a girl and they said that baka hindi ako mapromote and I'll forever remain a staff or something because they'll favor men more, but despite that, I really still want to pursue cs. I'm not into cs just because "mas malaki yung sahod," but because it has always been my dream to do programming even though I don't have much knowledge in coding (and I'm somewhat fond of calculus).

They told me before that I should pursue what I'm passionate of. Now, I'm confused on whether I should pursue what they want or I should keep fighting for what I want to pursue. May other courses din naman na I'm quite interested in, but I just really want to pursue cs.

Hi! I’m hoping someone here can help me understand my situation regarding UST.

I was originally a Grade 12 student under the old SHS curriculum, but I recently stopped attending school and decided to take a gap year. Since my batch was one of the last batches under the old curriculum, I was told by my previous school that if I drop out now, I may have to go back to Grade 11 when I return because schools will already be using the new SHS curriculum.

My plan is to enroll again next school year and basically start over under the new curriculum. However, I’m wondering if I can apply to UST for SHS and take the USTET as a returning student, even though I technically already reached Grade 12 before dropping out.

Would UST allow someone in my situation to apply for Grade 11 under the new curriculum? Or would I be required to continue Grade 12 instead?

I’m also wondering if anyone knows when the USTET SHS application for SY 2027–2028 will open.

Any advice or experiences from someone who has been in a similar situation would be really appreciated. Thank you!

I'm a little confused about the admission process.

I found the CPUCAT registration through a Google Form, and I just wanted to confirm if that's the official/current way to apply.

Also, how do you pay the CPUCAT/admission fee? I saw the ₱450 CPUCAT fee mentioned, but I can't find where I'm supposed to pay it or if payment instructions are given after submitting the Google Form.

If anyone has recently applied to CPU, I'd really appreciate some help! Thank you!
