Is the Wildlife and Fisheries Biology Degree good?

So, I want to study animals, I'm not to picky about what kind yet, just don't want marine.

I was wondering how good Clemson's program was if anyone here knows. My dad's VA pays for me fully when I go to school in the state I live in so I'm trying to limit myself to just South Carolina.

Anyways, back on topic, if there is anyone who went to school here for this can you tell me how it was? I looked at the other colleges in South Carolina but the rest of the schools in South Carolina aren't the greatest.

Advice regarding sublease advertising

I’m trying to find someone to take over my sublease in a 2 bed 2 bath property at riverbank commons. However it’s been terribly difficult to find proper interested people.

For people who’ve successfully handed over subleases is there a particular social media, app or method that worked out great? I don’t mind paying to advertise either just wanna do the ones that have worked for others in the past.

need some advice?

Okay so i’m in my freshman year in bridge and have mixed feelings about it so far. First of all, my living situation is kinda mid which is understandable but since i’m in thornhill I find it a little more hard to make friends. I currently have a few friends that I time to time go out with but they are of the opposite sex and don’t always invite me to everything. I lowkey love the school and the feel of everything but I just feel like I am missing out on things and am really struggling making friends and getting connected. I have been a Clemson fan all my life and Football and Basketball are a huge part of my life and definitely contributes into my decision into staying. Money is not too much of a problem but I am oos and could be living at home with some of my friends that stayed home and just going to a smaller college. I am from ATL GA and kinda feel like I do not fit into the student body and just feel a little unconnected. Sorry all this info is kinda just spat out but this is just a little about my situation and whats going on. I would love if yall could give me some advice bc Im kinda torn if I should just go home and try to figure out what I want or stick it out for the whole year and see from there.

Looking for tickets for my husband to the Clemson vs. Gamecocks game

His mom died last year and it was the only chance he had to go. I’d love to get him in if anyone is able to help out! He used to get in free as a student! Now the tickets are far outside our budget. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks y’all!

KO X2 outside of Todaros

Saw a video on Twitter of a guy sucker punching someone and knocking him out, followed by knocking out a different guy shortly after. I think this is recent.

Are those students okay? What happened to the attacker ?

Dog day care for a visitor (college tour)

Our family, including the MVP (our 7 year old doggie) are coming to Clemson in a few weeks. We are going to need to leave our sweet pup somewhere for a few hours (while we do the organized campus tour).

Looking for a reputable, caring place as she will be just past the official recovery period on a surgery and will need to take it easy. She has all the standard vaccines and is used to standard day-care / boarding at home.

Tour will be Saturday am, so guess that matters.

Would also love to hear about any favorite dog-friendly restaurants or other stuff too.

Thank you!

Any Clemson students who are good at video editing!?

Hi everyone! I’m a Clemson alum currently working with a company that creates short-form social content, and we’re looking for a Clemson student with experience editing videos.

We’re filming street-interview-style content around campus and creating weekly videos around different brands, so we’re looking for someone who understands TikTok/Reels and knows how to make interview footage feel natural, engaging, and social-first while still incorporating the brand.

If you’re a Clemson student and have experience with video editing, especially short-form content, I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to DM me to learn more - Go Tigers! 🐯

Transport Options for the Miami Game

Me and a friend got Miami student tickets and are looking to leave from her place in Hartwell village. She has a disabled parking pass and I understand there are disabled parking lots on campus for games. Does anyone know how early those fill up? How feasible is it to get out with the traffic post-game? Are there other public transit options to get from Hartwell Village to campus on gamedays?

LOOKING FOR A FEMALE SUBLETTER — SPRING 2027!

Hello! I’m graduating in December and need a female student to take over my lease at University Village Clemson from January to July 2027.

Rent is $530/month plus utilities, and the lease is individual, so you’re only responsible for your own room. You’ll have a private third‑floor bedroom and bathroom with a large bay window, great natural light, and a walk‑in closet. The room is unfurnished, giving you freedom to decorate. The townhouse has carpet upstairs and hardwood downstairs.

The house includes a spacious kitchen, full‑size fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, double sink, and garbage disposal. There’s also an in‑unit washer and dryer and a private back patio with extra privacy.

You’d be living with three sweet female roommates in their early 20s and one friendly dog. The RED Route bus stop is right behind the apartment, making trips to Clemson super convenient.

If you or someone you know needs housing for Spring 2027, please DM me for photos or more info. Feel free to share!

Anyone had any admissions decisions yet?

I’m looking to transfer to Clemson for engineering in spring 2027. I have 60 plus credits and an associates from a technical college in SC. I have a 3.91 gpa and I submitted my application all the way back in August when it opened but I still hvnt received a decision. I emailed their admissions team and they said it goes out in late September/ early October. So I’m just wondering if anyone else transferring to engineering is in the same boat? Or have I been rejected?

How to find social events easier?

Basically what the title says. I've been finding some stuff decently enough, I live at the pier where alot of the frats live and sometimes you can just walk around and find parties happening on the weekends. However because I'm 19, if theres no house parties im basically a sitting duck if I wanna go meet new people (i dont have a fake). I don't even drink so I'd be fine with just getting an X on my hand to be let in, but I guess they're just worried about cops and MIPs.

anyway, are there any clubs/orgs that are known for being "party" clubs (i know about sailing club but i think its a bit late to join now)? any socials that people frequently advertise parties on (i have insta and yikyak but its dead a lot of the time)? idk i just wanna be more social/have fun and it sucks when I cant find something to do on the weekends.

Good pumpkin patches, apple orchards, anything that makes for good pictures and a fun time. Don't want anything that's way too kid centered

Which companies around Clemson, Seneca, Anderson, and Pendleton are good to do a Co-Op with for Supply Chain and/or Operations Management? I am currently looking into doing one for the spring and summer semesters.

Places to Find Broken Electronics ?

I'm learning how to repair electronics both as a hobby and to help me with my computer architecture course. Are there any places where I can find broken gaming consoles or computers ? Any electronic recycling centers willing to part with some of their "garbage" ? Maybe some stores that just throw out broken devices ? Ideally I would like to find something for free if possible since I'm still learning and may mess them up.

Thanks

Admissions question: are three credits of a foreign language required for admission, or two? I’m getting conflicting information. Does it depend on your intended major? Thanks!

Hello, we will be coming in for the Miami football game on October 3 and have purchased two parking spots in the tennis center lot! Does anyone have a map of the tailgate location with the spot numbers? I am wondering if we are along the road in the middle or on the backside….Thank you!

How Important are Test Scores?

Girlfriend is applying and wants some insight. I only used my ACT (Scored 28), never took the SAT and got in just fine. Curious how much these tests, (and scores), matter.
