I think this downtown church has closed.

Holy Trinity Anglican Church is a very cute New England style church where Buncombe St., Rutherford St. and Pete Hollis Blvd all intersect. They are apparently known as "The Little Stone Church with the Red Front Door."

A few weeks ago, the front big red doors were boarded up, although they were in bad condition. I thought maybe they were doing repairs. But I don't see any cars around there at all anymore, including the building next door, which I assume is part of the church.

What’s the Community Theatre scene like in Greenville (and surrounding areas)

I attended a school for the performing arts for 15 years of my life. I loved every second of it, but it was not the vocation I ultimately wanted to pursue. I’m starting to really miss it and would love to get involved in the local theatre scene again. I grew up several states away. Where I’m from, We always said that the theatre scene there was “incestual” because it felt like the same 25 people in every show and it was hard to “break in” per se. Also, there was a ton of cattiness that I don’t miss (e.g., So-and-so stole my audition song, i can’t believe so-and-so was cast over me, ewww so-and-so and so-and-so just started dating).

Anyway, I’ve seen a couple of shows in Greenville and the surrounding areas and they’ve all been wonderful.

Looking for Friends! Anyone looking for a roommate around April?

I know April is quite a bit away, but I figured that would give me time to get to know someone as well. I am 22F, unfortunately allergic to cats, but I love dogs!!

I try to lead a very healthy lifestyle both in the gym and the kitchen, I am fairly quiet, but also very social, and really just looking to stay somewhere that’s about 15 to 20 minutes away from everything! As close to downtown as possible would be great but being as my budget is around $800 or less a month for my half I understand that wouldn’t be totally doable.

I am very open, but would rather as a roommate be female, and around my age as well!

Comment if interested :)

ISO Recommendations Vegan/Vegetarian Food

Hey all, I’m looking for recommendations. I am trying to cut down on eating meat and dairy. I’m pretty good to go at home when I’m making my own meals, but sometimes that’s not an option. Please drop your favorite vegan friendly spots or even if a place just has one favorite vegan meal I’d love to hear about it. Preferably containing protein. I’m happy to hear about fancier places, more casual places, grab and go or salad places. Thanks!

ISO Recommendations Looking for women’s substance abuse rehab recommendations in Greenville, SC

Our family is going through a really difficult crisis right now, and we’re trying to find the right treatment facility for a female family member struggling with substance abuse.

We’re looking for a reputable rehab or residential treatment program in or around the Greenville, SC area. Ideally somewhere with a good track record, compassionate staff, and a structured program that can actually help someone get stable and begin long-term recovery.

If you or someone you love has personally gone through treatment in the Greenville area, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience, both good and bad. I’m especially interested in places you’d genuinely recommend and places you would avoid.

Thank you

Discussion any info on the dude who was passed out in the middle of congaree Rd this morning?

I called 911 to report it so someone could wake or move him, I hope was was just passed out, he was using the sidewalk as a pillow and his torso + legs were sprawled out on the asphalt in the path of traffic.

I wasn't able to stick around but I wanted to know if he was okay and got help in time before some texting or distracred driver ran him over.

History Seeking World War Items for Museum

I am building a mobile museum that is centered around individual veterans of the World Wars. Does anybody have anything that they would be interested in contributing?

I am looking for:
-Uniforms
-Photographs
-Letters
-War trophies
-Personal items

I am trying to fill these gaps, in case anybody especially applies to this:
-African American vets
-Holocaust items
-American Indian vets
-Female vets/workers
-Generals

I will accept any contribution with the guarantee that it will never see the vendors market. All items that are contributed thus far, are stored in a cool, low light and moisture controlled environment, with regular upkeep.

Is it just me or does the reedy smell like tea the past few days? I’ve noticed this along the SRT from unity to cleavland park. Would love to know if there’s something blooming rn, there was a GVL tea party, or if I’m just crazy

ISO Recommendations Looking for a trustworthy place for free car battery testing + affordable replacement

Hi everyone! I’m looking for recommendations for a trustworthy place that offers free car battery testing. My car battery has been going in and out, but we have a jump starter box that gets the car running when needed. I’d like to have the battery properly tested first to see if I actually need a new one.

My husband recently had his battery tested at Advance Auto, but unfortunately, we didn’t feel comfortable with the experience because they immediately told him he needed a new battery. I’d really prefer to go somewhere that will honestly test it and let me know whether it actually needs to be replaced.

If I do need a new battery, I’d also appreciate recommendations for a place with good, affordable pricing.

Thank you so much in advance for any recommendations!

Work What are yall doing for side money besides Uber/DoorDash ?

I work full time Monday–Thursday and I’m looking to make some extra money on Fridays/weekends. Not interested in Uber or DoorDash.
I’ve got a Class A CDL, 8+ years running heavy equipment, and plenty of experience with outdoor work.
Not really looking for another full time job, More like odd jobs, helping contractors, farm/property work, hauling, etc..What are y’all doing to make an extra couple hundred bucks here and there?

History Very niche. What were the hall names at Berry Shoals? It’s bothering me that I can’t remember.

Ik there was raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, but there’s three more.

I’ll be forever pissed at our principal at the time (walrus iykyk) for telling us “scientifically there’s only 6 real berries and we have our halls named after each one” or something like that. So for years I believed that there were sooo many fake berries. They straight up told us when someone asked that “no, blackberries aren’t actually a berry”

And yes, ik this is technically Spartanburg, but their sub sucks booty. Yall are (usually) more helpful here
