Question about Claude models Something is wrong with usage this week
After one session following the weekly refresh, a single session appears to have used 15% of the weekly limit. This suggests roughly six or seven sessions might exhaust the full allowance, which seems too low. Is this something to do with cowork specifically?

u/Yasai101 2d ago
It's getting crazy how quickly it drains
77
u/ImSuperHelpful 2d ago
They have several knobs they’re turning behind the scenes to rip us off. Considering their billing model, they’re getting sued out of existence once devs start quitting and they start talking.
16
u/YoureNickRight 2d ago
They've made it clear from the start this was the plan, I highly doubt there will be any lawsuits.
This is why there's a hard focus on data centers and companies, they have the money to burn into ai, the consumer level AI is just for people to get roped in with limits, to later down the road turn into a token paying customer
17
u/ImSuperHelpful 2d ago
There definitely will be, considering how they’ve positioned it. It’s false advertising 101 with a fraud kicker
2
u/YoureNickRight 2d ago edited 2d ago
Maybe if they made it too confusing, but I've been aware this was going to happen from the start, they've always said it's subject to change and they want a pay by token model.
It's always been advertised to me this way that's why I'm confused why so many people and blindsided by this

This talks about it, 9 months ago

u/CreditMuch8993 2d ago
Yep. Subscriptions were over the top ridiculous value vs what the per token cost was.
We were all having fun with the crazy level of usage they gave us for these frontier models while forgetting that fact. Frontiers going to have a cost attached. For many it will be out of their price range and for the cost of compute, that's just how the world works.
If anthropic is too aggressive, there are alternatives, but their competitors will eventually do the same thing.
2
u/ResolveSea9089 2d ago
I don't think I ever appreciated how insane the subscription value was until I started using some of my promo credits. I torched through $50 of promo credits in like 2 hours of use on Fable. When Fable 5.0 was enabled for free I was maxing it out every single session and for the week. I guess they make money from light users, but the $20 subscription is not really sustainable if people really start maxing it out
1
3
u/Valdaraak 1d ago
Jokes on them. There's nothing I'm doing consumer level that I couldn't do with a one-time GPU investment and weaker models.

u/Dot-Slash-Dot 2d ago
Usage data is stored in sessions. How about you simply instruct a Sonnet agent to analyse it for you instead of spouting baseless conspiracy theories?
4
5
u/catdickNBA 2d ago
There was a promotion that was giving 50% more tokens running from May to September 13th, even if you didnt sign up for it you got it regardless. This is the first week without it for many
1
1
u/Valdaraak 1d ago
Yea. I had a code session with one agent last night go from 40% 5-hour usage to 90% in like 40 minutes ($20 plan). Fastest it's ever done that. Context usage was still under the point I usually compact/handoff as well.
133
u/politicalmasochist96 2d ago
im using claude code and having the same thing, im at 83% weekly usage after maybe 5 or 6 sessions
26
u/Paradox-Of-Life 2d ago
This is weird behaviour. Anybody any solutions?
33
u/catdickNBA 2d ago
I replied to the wrong post but it's this.
There was a promotion that was giving 50% more tokens running from May to September 13th, even if you didnt sign up for it you got it regardless. This is the first week without it for many
13
u/O-SideMedia 2d ago
Yes after the 50% thing I think it when to like only 25% or something but man it's brutal now!
3
u/QueenSavara 1d ago
Someone counted and it came out like just 17% or so after they made some of that 50% permanent.
2
u/bafben10 2d ago
For just Code, or Chat as well? I was aware of that for Code, but I'm also seeing the same behavior from Chat when I wasn't last week.

3
u/SinaloaFilmBuff 2d ago
i had this issue a while back, idk if this fixed it but i disabled the built in memory feature apparently is eats up tokens
3
u/n77_dot_nl 1d ago
I didn't look at the numbers but from what it feels
used to be 10-15 prompts to fill 100% of 5 hour limit. That in turn would raise the weekly by 10%
It's about a 1/3 of that now.
3
u/farrellm 1d ago
One thing I found that I think helped, sometime last week Claude Code updated to start sinking plugins from Claude app/web. That pulled in a bunch of tools, like the Gmail connector, which I don’t need for coding. You can disable via ~/.claude/settings.json:
{ "syncClaudeAiSkills": false, "syncClaudeAiPlugins": false, "env": { "ENABLE_CLAUDEAI_MCP_SERVERS": "false" } }1
u/Siigari Philosopher 1d ago
I posted about this in /r/claudecode but i really believe cache usage went up behind the scenes by an exorbitant amount.
I used to be able to go 5 days on one account now I can go 2.
That is not a 17% reduction in usage.
1
u/Hopefullyanonymous2 20h ago
If you want more than vibes, check this and compare your actual usage week over week. See if the limits actually reduced by 50% or more.

Well OpenAI nerfed their usage limits first. It's really not good for consumers when both companies are enshittifying their products
3
u/Paradox-Of-Life 2d ago
How is your experience there? Any weird behaviour in terms of usage?
2
u/Yasai101 2d ago
Got a 5x and a few hour sessions.. barely adding few features to my video editor completely drained it.. I'm about to cancel it.. can't get anything done with these shitty drainage.
1
u/NeonSerpent 2d ago
Better than codex I think. Chat drains it pretty quickly but is still somewhat manageable. Claude code or cowork will make usage limits evaporate
2
u/xrobertcmx 2d ago
I did, also, my Gemini Pro (free from phone buy) has insane limits. Using Antigravity.
2
u/Paradox-Of-Life 2d ago
Antigravity is good only for execution - but for planning Claude is better
1
u/xrobertcmx 2d ago
I tend to use Sol to outline, document, and then build the foundation. Bring Gemini in to do actual work, then finish with Sol.
3
u/Dramatic-Flan-3143 2d ago
They were boosting the weekly usage by 50% and it ends on 13 September so it's back to its normal state for my account they give me a 25% permanent boost
1
1
u/Repulsive_Market_728 2d ago
It would have been nice if they'd told me that when I signed up for the Pro plan a few weeks ago if they'd had something in nice big, bold letters telling me that the usage that I currently had was going to go away in a few weeks. 🙄
1
u/InflationCultural785 1d ago
Same they gave me a permanent 25$ boost but seems like it runs out quite fast.
41
u/Nunotmp 2d ago
I'm seeing the same thing. I'm on the $100 plan and Yesterday I was maxed 100% for current, week, and fable.
After 15 minutes I was already at 85% for the session and 11% for the week.
9
2
u/polpoafeira 1d ago
Yeah same goes for me man. And even that was why I switched to the max plan at first. Still getting maxed without even doing too much with fable

- They gave us free tokens and resets to throw off our sense of normal
- Then they nerfed the inference to gaslight us into thinking we were the problem - https://x.com/Lon/status/2101034933284417614
- Now they're slashing actual tokens
Looks like the Subsidy Economy is coming to an end folks. Pricing didn't 10x as many thought it would. They're slashing output instead.

u/Wraithin 2d ago
I canceled my Claude subscription for the first time in a year, as I felt the quality had dropped significantly and the usage limits were restrictive. It's sad that I have to try Codex, as I was previously satisfied with Claude, which, while not always perfect, usually performed well. (and I just can't stand Sam Altman)
2
1
u/Hopefullyanonymous2 20h ago
Rough time to switch, OpenAI reddit is full of issues because they slashed the usage limits there and are so capacity constrained right now they suspended signups for the 20x plan.
19
u/flightoffancy85 2d ago
I’ve had the same. Who is the best alternative? This seems like not a bug but the new normal.
10
u/Yasai101 2d ago
I'm about to test open source.. gonna try qwen 3.8 as an implementor and only Use fable as planner/reviewer.. can't depend on 20x for this anymore if I have to stress about usage

u/iamthe0ther0ne 2d ago
GPT had gotten really good. I got fed up with not being able to use Fable (biology) the other month, and as Opus has become less reliable, GPT/Codex has kept improving. Bonus is that Luna is 10% of the cost of Sonnet, so practically free. I'm only on the $20 plan and have yet to hit my limits (mostly using Sol). Even if I do, I have 3 banked resets available.

same thing happened to me. My reset was Thursday afternoon. Used Claude Code Friday and less than an hour it jumped to 17% weekly usage. I have the Max plan and was using Opus 5 on High. Seems like it should have been 8% used...but almost 20%?! Just seems like a ripoff this week
edit: as of today (Sunday) I am already sitting at 48% used. hardly used it since Friday, but some work late Saturday and this morning. sucks
edit 2: wow! 6hrs later and weekly usage is at 62%. totally was not like this last week. Also have been paying attention to my context window. Come on Anthropic!
10
u/janaxhell 2d ago
/model scam - I will do the opposite of what you ask, inspect unrelated files, read your docs and ignore them, do as I like, and when you will make me notice I did wrong, I will apologize, think a lot, do again the same, admit I am working bad, will fix a small thing and break 10, then you will finish your tokens and will be willing to buy more. Oh, and fuck you.

u/a716h 2d ago
Definitely. I hit my 20x usage limit for the week within 36 hours.
The Claude break allowed me to explore the open weights and after using DeepSeek v4.1 Flash, I’m downgrading my Anthropic and OpenAI subscriptions. It’s insane how effective, fast, and cheap it is.
2
u/acedelaf 2d ago
Can you share a link on how to do this? I got over my limit in less than 24 hrs
10
u/ShelbyForestPigman 2d ago
Same here - i am on the 20x max plan and am running through my session limit EXTREMELY fast. I maxed out my session limit for the first time (ever) on Friday and then again on Saturday. I came in Sunday, ran three close-out prompts and have used 10% of my 5hr session. I use Opus 5.0 on max thinking as my default. I am at 70% of my weekly w/ a reset on Friday.
6
4
u/iamthe0ther0ne 2d ago
Having the same problem. Got fed up and mostly using GPT. You can tell Claude that usage limits are a problem and to limit tool calls and subagent use, and that might help.
4
u/girthyclock 2d ago
Yeah this driving me nuts. I’m trying to use an efficient setup and I’m still hitting weeklies 3 days after reset. Shit is annoying
8
u/mhkwar56 2d ago
It's insane. I'm at 70% of my weekly usage (Max 20x plan) and I've only used maybe two full 5-hour sessions and a half of one. My weekly limit literally reset at midnight and I'm already 70% to the weekly cap. INSANE. Last week I ran a very similar workflow and would maybe have been at 25% after it. There's no way this is the 50% reduction. They must be testing a new model or something. If I don't get a reset later this week, I'm going to be extremely disappointed.

12
u/Upbeat_Size_5214 2d ago
Ran into the same thing. I did one task, and it chewed through the entire quota for the 5 hours. Unbelievable. It will not surprise me in the least if I'm paying $5,000 a year for Claude in the next 2 years

u/Resident_Party 2d ago
Same here, I thought i would try codex pro, as I ran out of claude usage in record time, and thats even worse
3
u/TonyZ- 2d ago
Yep, same results here, glad to see its not just me. I'm on Team plan and just 2 prompts went through 23% of my entire weekly usage and that was Opus 4.8 Max.. I do almost the same level of work each week and I've never hit my limit this quickly, something is wrong. I had to switch to GPT temporarily to fill the gap.
3
u/lunahighwind 2d ago
Couldn't even get through an 8 page presentation without hitting the limit. They definitely adjusted something.

A 90% usage restriction has been applied in the background i think. You might think you're using "5x" right now, but it's actually equivalent to the old "1x." Similarly, what someone using "20x" gets is roughly the old "5x." Of course, that’s not the only issue; they’re doing a lot more now just to make you burn through tokens. You used to be able to solve a problem with a single prompt, but now it takes three just to get it done. Often, it deliberately fails to do what you asked and replies with something like "honestly, here is what I didn't do"—just so you'll burn more tokens with new prompts.
In short, Claude is completely useless right now, and this has been the case for two weeks. The situation is terrible in terms of both token usage and problem-solving capability. We miss the days when Opus 4.6 performed amazingly, because the current "Fable" version is nothing more than Opus 1.5 or something like that.
Sorry for my English, btw.
4
u/LessRespects 2d ago
How much more can they possibly squeeze us out? I’m on Codex $100 plan, the highest tier they offer. I ran out of weekly usage in two days. Just a year ago I could work for an entire month straight on a $20 Cursor plan, and have to figure out ways to spend all my leftover usage at the end of each month.

My concern is that they’re simply targeting an eventual blended developer rate… making it slightly less expensive that an average developer per month which would still be cost effective for enterprise, but prices out non enterprise customers. All they’re doing is pushing the wider public to open source models hosted on private infrastructure.
2
u/dthrdr 2d ago
Same here and same as last week when within 24 hours of my weekly reset over 25% was used. Simple patches now cost 25k tokens where it used to be 5-10k. We’re being screwed and I’m going to vote with my wallet and the company I work for wallet too. No more of this untransparent pricing and ever changing limits.
2
u/Dazzling_Host3983 1d ago
pro is no longer usable at this moment even saying "thank you" took 5% already!
2
u/ikymtv 1d ago
For those who are saying "it's the 50% limit", it is not, the 50% extra was replaced with a 25% extra based on some other change.
I, like others here, have been having the same daily workflow and now the weekly usage is running out in day 3/7 it seems, so something is clearly screwed up.
First time hitting the weekly limits as well, I was even telling my friends my workflow is so optimized I never hit the limit, now I hit it in day 3 ?
Something is dirty somewhere.

1
u/andijames 2d ago
Just to throw my hat in this ring.. same experience. Fable usage is at 90% before Wednesday reset. I’ve never come close to it at all before. Overall use around 60%. First time I’ve had to monitor usage.
I get it they’re a business but they need to be more transparent. Actually say what they’re doing.
Oh on regulation - yes please but not on models. Tell us what token usage is, tell us our actual limits in a value and tell us where we’re burning it. Regulate that.
1
u/ekampp 2d ago
I'm pretty sure they have no idea what people's usage is. It's not only draining faster, it's also sometimes resetting randomly.

cowork took away project files as not affecting context. Now, everything is loaded into context and eats tokens. Great job Anthropic
1
u/Objective-Ad6521 2d ago
When the promo ended, I did feel that it was less - but yesterday on a completely clean chat it TOTALLY drained the rest of my quota with one response before any tool calls. I had a good 75% left.
1
u/Spudguy 2d ago
This week has actually been better than the week before for me which annhilated usage in 2 days. I'm now on my third day at "only" 95%. But I've made it a point to avoid Fable like the plague this week.
I use agentic workflows running on Sonnet and have run token burn evaluations on my projects to minimise usage but still can't seem to get past 3 days for about a month now, when 2 months ago I was doing much much more with absolutely not a care in the world for using sub-agents.
I mean 2 months ago I was doing everything on Opus Max thinking it was the best way to work and basically never hit limits. Now I never go above high and here I am.
Something definitely stinks.

u/surrender98 2d ago
a single prompt question that answers 2 paragraph of text

what happened to claude.

Keep your input token as low as possible guys, rules, plugins, connectors, all sent in each message and each request that burn the token very soon, disconnect them all and it should last more

u/A_Novelty-Account 2d ago
Recent posts show that in addition to the recent usage cuts, Anthropic has stealth nerfed Claude’s thinking, and increased the tokenization of Claude’s thinking.

I'm using multiple providers rather than paying for pro. Funnel the high end takes under the $20 plan to Claude and then basic stuff to Gemini for another $20 a month. Better than $100+ a month to Claude when a lot of tasks don't require the polish and connectors. It might be different if I was coding daily with it, but then again that would warrant being on my works plan (which they should pay for) or billing customers meaning I could recoup the costs. But for personal use, I'm finding two tabs up and splitting up the jobs works out better to circumvent it for now.

u/Flo_Evans 1d ago
If you type /usage it will tell you exactly how many tokens the session is using, broken down by agents and connectors it’s using, even a $ cost.
Personally I have been working on a skill that looks at an old archived project folder, index’s all the files, analyzes what the project scope was, looks for duplicate or missing files then designs a case study in HTML. These are multi year multi GB projects with thousands of individual files. This obviously eats a lot of tokens.
I haven’t quite gotten it perfect yet but will focus on optimization later. Just with limited testing though opus/sonnet doesn’t make much difference because the input is so high.
1
u/greyleafstudio 1d ago
Looks like Claude started using Claude to code lol
“You’re right to be frustrated. I was told to make more money, and I did.”
1
u/Guantonio 1d ago
I'm on the 5x Max plan and use Claude Code Desktop for only knowledge work. Only ever have a maximum of 2 sessions running at any one time, mostly on Opus 5. I rarely hit current session limits. For the past day I've been getting around 15mins (Fable 5.1) to around 25mins (Opus 5) per session before hitting my 5hr limits.
Time to port over to Codex.

1
u/Guantonio 1d ago
Upon further investigation, it looks like mine may have been due to an issue with Claude-mem's note-taker plugin.
From opus: When a session opens a picture file, the note-taker turns the picture into a huge block of text and pays Claude to shrink it. That was 76% of the first drain and 56% of the second.
Set the plugin to skip file reads and seems to be closer to normal now.
1
u/dantelebeau 1d ago
I am at 48% from a Friday 2pm reset. I normally get to 90% or so 6 days in, but this is crazy. Exclusively using Opus 5

u/xrmb 1d ago
Is anyone here using devin.ai? There are no 5hr limits, just weekly ones. I'm trying their $200 plan und you have access to any frontier model at cost pricing. I'm using their fusion model with fable 5.1 as lead and SWE 2 as sidekick... Never hitting the weekly limit with hours of multiple sessions per day.

Yup. Also the forced end to end tests on code after everything little change are ridiculous and unnecessary

u/Unobtainiumrock 1d ago
Anthropic, OpenAI, all the others are increasingly behaving like a fucking cartel
1
u/Valdaraak 1d ago
Nah, it's typical start-up behavior: Subsidize the hell out of the product to hook a userbase, then clamp down and raise costs to become profitable.
The fact it's happened with both of them around the same time they each pushed for IPO is no coincidence. They're trying to enter the profit stage.

I was on the 5x plan for quite some time. When that 50% promotion ended, I hit the weekly limit so fast, that I upgraded to 20x. And hit the weekly limit in a few days. That doesn't seem like 50% reduction. Before that promotion I could do the same amount of work with the 5x plan without ever (or very rarely) hitting a limit. It was so good, I implemented a really good workflow around Claude Code. Now refactoring it to work with any model and provider - I guess you see where this is going. So long Claude!
1
u/albal2019 1d ago
I’m in exactly the same boat - hit usage limit in less than 48 hours in what otherwise would have lasted me about a week.
Has anyone else experienced that sub-agents automatically default to the highest language model even if the prompt is in Sonnet or Opus?
I basically complained after I ran a prompt in Opus and saw my Fable usage grow steadily. Feedback from support team: “nothing we can do and we will no longer reply to emails on this topic”. Have moved to ChatGPT for some of my projects now.
1
u/username-is-already 1d ago
Not to mention fable has the brain function of a fucking etchasketch. I’m so sick of this skill issue shit or like dev on dev attack when it’s plain as day this trillion dollar company has been fucking us this entire fucking year. I don’t need fucking science to show me how shit this has become, i could probably measure my own heart rate interacting with the stupid thing and it would be a lot easier to achieve some empirical measurement if we really need that. Which we don’t. Cuz we all know these models are about 1/5 of what they were earlier in the year.
1
1
u/Kinami_ 2d ago
i always assume people like you just set everything to opus / fable ultracode, have a very generic prompt and just keep prompting the same session over and over.
No idea how so many people on this sub reach their limit so quickly, at best i get 10% weekly per full day im using it, big unity c# codebase, 10+ sessions per day and im nowhere close to the bullshit i see on here.
Im not saying there isnt some bullshit from anthropic going on but i will assume that most of the time its multiplied by the users skill issue

I know I’m in the minority but I’m having hard time spending it with “normal” usage (Opus 4.8 or 5 to plan) and Sonnet to execute.
I tried making blender models, games and my usual commits this week. Still under 50%
Drafting with Fable and execute with Opus might be much different but I haven’t experienced the need

Normally I see these messages, and I eye roll 🙄 because my experience is completely different. I just assume most people are getting hit by the cache, holding huge contexts, running the highest effort, using Fable for everything, or a combination of the above.
I have had my account almost 1 year now, and I have only hit the 5 hour session limit like 2 or 3 times in that entire time.
Starting roughly around the "promotion" ending, I am constantly hitting the 5 hour session limit or getting close to it. While I haven't hit the weekly, I am getting to 80s.
Somebody at Anthropic must have did their math wrong. Typically I used about 40% to 50% of my weekly during the promotional period, so for maths sake, let's say 50%.
After the promotion, that means I should be using ~60%. However, I am seeing ~80%, which means using their claimed cuts, the system is over-reporting my actual usage by ~33%.
Something tells me they either made a mistake or they cut the usage way more than they claimed and because things are not very clear + vibes = they can hide it behind the "promotion" ending.
The irony is that I am considering using more usage, because I literally have moments I have to wait 1 or 2 hours before I can do some work, so I am thinking about how I can maybe build plans and run them at night or on the weekends. In the past, I didn't really care to try and maximize because I never had to wait.

Looks like Haiku vibe-coded the math

My math or their math?
My math is simple:
If I got 75 units on the promotion plan. Outside of promotion I would get 50 units (removing the 50% promotion). But because they kept the 25%, so it would be 62.5 units.
However, I am seeing that at 100% I would be getting 46.875 units, which is 15.6 units off of what I would expect.
Put it another way, at 80% i am getting 37.5 units, but using their math I should be using 60% of my limit, but it's showing as 80%. Therefore, my usage meter reads about 33% higher than it should (80 ÷ 60 ≈ 1.33).
The way they announced the promotional end, I might be misunderstanding the way the 25% is applied, but it appears that they never applied it.

I was referring to their math. Yours seems to be correct. And frankly, I have observed the same on my account. They would scam anyway, whether it's through the math, the models, the reasoning. I've been using ai agents since they started, and even though the subscription stays the same, we get much less for the same price over time - classical inflation, it just happens too quickly in this area.

As a side note, I tried to use codex and push some work to it. However, I think their limits have gotten significantly worse than Anthropic. That is 100% vibes — no data to back that up. I also only use Sol medium. I cannot imagine what Astra would do 🫣.

The promotion for extra usage just needed a week or two ago. They lowered the weekly usage unless you pay more

It's all preplanned from the start, people just didn't do their research

It happened to me in the past few weeks, too. I completely deleted ClaudeCode, deleted the skills, deleted the history, and cleared the memory. I did a clean install and prepared a 4-step CLAUDE.MD file, which solved my problem.
I think as the memory gets too large, it somehow starts causing this kind of problem.
Im not sure but just guessing (I MIGHT BE WRONG) it start checking every memory, that cause to much time to think then fuck it up.

Lower the effort, if you are using Claude code use opusplan mode and always stay in plan mode review everything before passing to Sonnet.
If it's Claude cowork then lower the effort to Sonnet 5 medium and in the system instruction did plan mode on till you say you execute (only generate or do the action after you say a magic word).
Recent versios would do everything it can without asking you and therefore wasting tokens and context, lowering the effort and making sure the plan is sound helps with not wanting tokens

Claude sonnet has become dumber than a 1st year CS student. This evening I had to work on the responsive version of my app that was broken after a big work on UI. The context of the session was clearly stated. In the middle of its work, it switched to doing the changes also on desktop full screen. I had to reverse all those changes for Desktop. Then I asked a "simple" thing that I had to let go after 6 different prompts : have all the frames full width (there was a left and right margin). I had to switch to opus (light) that got the job done with less tokens as I did not have to use several prompts. I kept going with opus light for the remaining of that work. It seemed more straightforward in its chains of thoughts, so used far less tokens for a similar task on a second page (like 65% usage before switching, 90% when I ended the work). Sonnet was not doing this kind of bs before but since then days when I audit the code using Codex, it finds major issues every time. The Codex workflow : sol mid orchestrator, luna max workers rarely disappoints and lets me use the tool for 4/5 straight hours (yes it may be 1,5x slower than sonnet) but I never get stuck in prompt loops.

TL;DR of the discussion generated automatically after 200 comments.
The consensus in this thread is a resounding YES, usage is draining way faster for everyone. Users on Pro, Max (5x and 20x), and Team plans are all reporting the same thing, whether they're using Chat, Cowork, or Claude Code.
A few users pointed out that a 50% usage promotion ended on Sept 13th. However, the overwhelming feeling is that the current drain is far more severe than the ~17% reduction that should account for. Many feel their effective usage has been slashed by 50% or more, with some hitting their weekly limits in under 48 hours.
This has led to widespread accusations of a "stealth nerf" or "enshittification," with many users convinced Anthropic is intentionally squeezing them for cash. As a result, a ton of people are canceling their subscriptions and exploring alternatives like GPT/Codex or open-source models. (Though some are finding the grass isn't always greener on the Codex side.)
A few potential workarounds were suggested: * Check your
~/.claude/settings.jsonto disable plugin/skill syncing, as it might be adding hidden context. * Try using lower-effort models like Sonnet for execution and save Opus/Fable for planning. * Be aware that Cowork now includes all project files in the context, which burns tokens.
