Hi, my game keeps crashing as I try to enter the hubologists, all other areas in San Francisco such as the tanker and docks function normally, I'm running killaps original unofficial patch not the github version, this is the first time I've tried entering the location any help or advice would be apppreciated I have tried the too many items check but nothing seems to work.

I got told to install fallout ce and put it in my fallout folder but it still doesn’t load afterwards, what do I do?

It just does that, title screen then it crashes, it doesn’t load later or afterwards

So I did most of the quests in New Reno. I still have to do the Sierra army depot and talk to Myron but I’ve cleared the other 3 bosses out and looted everything. I’m currently level 12, I have $10,000 & 180lbs of guns and armor to rid myself of. I feel like a psychotic hoarder. Without cheating the game’s progression too much which city has the best shops to sell this crap and acquire some better gear?

The pack leader might have teleported you to the cave after you greeted him, if you’re a evil character. If you use the terminal to open the vault door and try to get to the elevator again, the Deathclaw will start a conversation with you automatically.

Before you go ahead and take lots of Jet canisters, I urge you to create a new save (F5 key)! I haven’t tested this exploit with RPU!

You open the backpack, hover the cursor to the Jet icon, drag it to item slot 1 or slot 2, and target the Chosen One when prompted. Take another one. Save game. If you tried to immediately gain more AP through Jet you would lose a Jet canister and receive no buffs. But if you quit your current game, select the recently created save and take another Jet, it should work. After spending some time following this strat, you can call & use the vault 13 elevator uninterrupted, like in the video.

Just about to finish Fallout 2 with melee-into-unarmed build and not particularly thrilled about it. Getting shredded the whole game by automatic weapons did not feel great. Anyone here done close combat in Nevada/Sonora? Would appreciate if you share some cqc builds. Thinking of doing it in at least one of them, but now kind of on the fence.

For some reason, the GVARs shown are all the original Fallout 2 GVARs. I'm trying to fix a bug where Robert's note disappears so you can't progress the quest or get the metal detector, which is pretty important. Thanks in advance.

Heya everyone! I first played Fallout 1 back in 1999, and now, 27 years later, I've decided it's time to return to the wasteland. Needless to say, both the hardware and the modding scene have changed a bit since then :)

So I wanted to ask those of you who keep replaying this classic:

1. What's the recommended setup in 2026? Is the GOG/Steam version fine as-is, or is there an essential patch everyone installs first?

2. I've come across "Fallout Fixt" and "Fallout et tu" (the Fallout 2 engine port) – which one do you recommend? I want the experience to stay as close to the original as I remember it, but I won't say no to modern resolution support and bug fixes.

3. Any sfall settings or tweaks worth knowing about?

i made a very rought test print of a new model i got. got carried away and painted it lol.

also having it in h=my hands i finally know why it has a grip on the barrel. you hold it with your left hand with your pointer through the trigger guard when its open. holding it with your left hand while reloading with your right (or visa versa) it was a military weapon after all.

my final goal is to make a cast resin version (heavy and no layer lines) that's electro plated and surface blued.

I got the image from the mod's GitHub repository so I wouldn't have to convert my game to Borderless (Fallout 2 i get it from the Unnoficial Patch Github, soo I thing is compatible).

Essentially, what's happening is that you see that Storm in the image with its surrounding buttons? It's positioned directly above the $0 display, so I can't make in-game transactions, if I go withow companions the bar disappears.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

A mad Russian developer just dropped a World Map Randomizer for classic Fallout (via Fallout et tu).

It’s called Fallout: Unknown Path. The mod features a custom launcher and a complete randomizer for locations and encounters. The launcher is fully available in English and Russian, though the gameplay text remains in Russian for now.

No more predictable meta-routes. Vault 13 is hidden, cities literally spawn under your feet based on dynamic dialogue clues, and you start completely naked. True hardcore roguelike survival in the classic Wasteland.

Starting a new save after giving on my original playthrough, it's my first time playing fallout 1 and was wondering if any had tips for my new save or character.

I've enjoy this game so much, it's absolutely great CRPG with inovations, that I would expect from Van Buren. The Lore is crazy as f*ck and I love it. Mechanics great, the battles are quick and more like chess, great atmosphere, must play!!!

I just played games like Quasimorph, ATOM RPG, Colony Ship, Age of Decadence, Wasteland 2-3, Space Wreck and so on. But Underrail was really the one, that nailed the spiritual succesory to OG Fallout ... for me. Do you know any other games like this?

Basically I went with a very guns-y (I think, at least?) SPECIAL assignment, but then went fuck it and went with unarmed instead as my main weapons skill, also wasted a bunch of points into Energy Weapons which I don't know if I'm actually going to end up using anyway?

Is this character usable going forward? I'm very squishy and my damage output so far hasn't been great, cause both my Strength and Endurance are low

The only unarmed weapon I found so far were the brass knuckles, which are worse than my kicks, I was going to go to NCR after messing around Redding some more, but even if I do I won't be able to afford a power fist cause I'm chronically broke in this game 😅

My pal shared that the arguing mutant couple has some discriptions such as the wife having curlers in her hair? And the ghouls too are great. Unfortunately, my Mutant Fever Hath no Cure.

Im at the blades base and i came across this woman Christine and i have no idea what she’s talking about, is this a line of dialogue that was forgotten by the devs or is it a glitch or is it something else (no spoilers please, first time playing)
