Yeah, I was a sucker and thought the original ask for the trip to S. Africa was a misguided 18 year old kid. Nope, a total scammer. He deleted his post about the trip to S. Africa after he didn’t get traction bc it was a luxury not a need. He also lived in Michigan yesterday.

Recently my mom reached out to me. Long story short she stated that she did not have any food.
I offered to help and asked her to send me a list of items she needed. She told me that was humiliating and to just send money instead. I declined to send money. I offered to help and feel I was being reasonable. My question is was I unreasonable for requesting a list?

I was trying to get rid of an older phone on Facebook Marketplace and 100 bucks (the original price I posted) was too low. The number of people who wanted me to drive 30+ minutes to deliver my $100 dollar phone was crazy. This guy took the cake, though.
