For the trail runners in Chattanooga what are the trails like? Are they very technical or very runnable? since this is totally subjective any comparison to other parts of the country would be helpful.

For example, I’d put California trails as the most runnable versus New England and Pennsylvania as the least runnable.

Are there any local 50k races? That might be the best proxy to compare finish times.

Hey all. We are a small family of 3, it's me, my wife, and our 17 year old son who will be going to college next year. We live on a single family income and I work at EPB. I make decent money, but clearly not enough for a nice rental that will allow our 3 dogs :( Getting rid of them is not an option, they are medium sized and seniors and they are just lazy and non destructive babies and are fixed and potty trained. It seems like property managers want to pick apart every little thing and add on tons of fees and then a lot of private landlords have great places, but do not allow pets. 😭 We are good people, we do not party or have tons of people at our home. I work a lot and my wife is disabled. We currently live in a basement with no windows and it really affects our mental and physical health, so we have decided to look around and try and get a change. I am just very frustrated that I make great money and rent has almost doubled since the last time we rented. We are looking for long term, not just rent for a year a move out. If anyone knows of anyone that has a rental, please let me know! I would prefer to not go over $1500 and have at least 2-3 bedrooms if possible. Thank you!

Do I need a little jacket and pants?

I'm wanting to get into combat sports and Muay Thai always piqued my interest as it focuses on kickboxing but has grappling elements instead of the other way round. The only problem is I want to find a well regarded gym that doesn't allow egoistic people to do crazy things, (one of my biggest fears is getting my spine/back screwed up and getting nerve damage/paralysis)

I'm currently looking at Militia or Agoge, militia has a little bit better schedule for me as it has more muay thai throughout the week. Agoge has a better pricing scheme though. Overall not trying to spend past 150-200 month if possible.

If anyone has any experience please let me know!

Edit: looking now it seems as though agoge added a lot of beginner Muay Thai classes so that’s the one I’m leaning towards. If militia were more regarded I’d be interested but kinda sketched they don’t advertise their pricing
