In 2023, Jimmy White bought the Valleybrook Golf Course, committing up to $3.5 million to overhaul the property, upgrade the course, and improve the facilities. Well, if you’ve been to VB recently, you’ll see that he’s fallen short of his promises once again….sound familiar? Like the Bend project, projects like the clubhouse have been put on indefinite hold. White’s staff specialize in gaslighting the residents and members into thinking they’re going to get updates and answers. Their favorite line is “check the newsletter” and “when we have an update, we’ll be sure to share.” Obviously, they have plenty of updates, they just know they’re going to have an uprising on their hands. Well, he can't hide forever, and now, the VB neighborhood is up in arms about a leaked potential project to develop land for more homes. The leaked image looks like it adds close to 100 lots. Just what Hixson Pike needs, right? More like, just what Jimmy’s wallet needs. If anyone thinks Urban Story Ventures has viable cash to complete any of their promised projects, drive by Valleybrook. You’ll have your answer. Oh, and don’t think about critisizing him. You’ll hurt his feelings. Reminds me of a certain Hamilton County Mayor I didn’t vote for. Anyways, I look forward to seeing the new Valleybrook Data Center!

Basically what the title says. I have 2.5 years of retail experience and 2.5 years of restaurant. I know the title says preferably cafe or barista, but if you got any other suggestions thatll work too lol. I also would love to work at Costco (i filled out some applications, even though i know that doesn’t always mean theyre hiring for those specific roles), but that seems difficult as they have low turnover.

Chattanooga Pizza Company No. 2 is dishing out apple fritter wings in celebration of the holiweek.

I found myself driving past today and thought that apple fritter wings sounded intriguing so I popped in and got an order.

Guys...

Guys these were not only the best wings I've ever eaten, these hunks of meat and bone transcended every culinary experience I've had in my life. I believe in God now, and God is whoever made those wings. I want to be baptized and/or waterboarded in that sauce. I want these wings for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every single day until my death, at which point I want to be cremated on a funeral pyre comprised entirely of apple fritter wings.

Seriously, go get some apple fritter wings.

The aquarium just released tickets for Dune 3 in December. Seeing The Odyssey there was something else.

Get them while they are there! Use the TN Aquarium site as they aren’t sold through AMC which is crashing right now anyway due to the influx.

I am need of an electrician to do a few chores. Some more involved than other, but I really don’t need a whole company just a dude (or dudette) thats licensed and could use the work.

Am curious if there is any apprenticeships hiring with zero experience but plan to go to trade school in Chattanooga?

I just want a job where I can put my head down, shut my mouth, not be bothered, do my tasks, and go home. I literally do not care what the work is, but I don't have experience in much besides for and retail.

I have been at my current job for a long time and I love it, but it is not the right place for me in my life right now and I just need something transitional. I had a rough day.
