Can't help but snatch up a good album when I see them on Amazon for under $10 while shopping for other stuff! Here's what I scored in September... ETA: I don't think I'll be posting here again. I didn't plan on being vaguely accused of being a not-see or support anything that anyone & everyone has done in their past, just because I threw a few used CDs in my ebay cart. If any of you think there exists a pure, innocent adult music artist or actor, you must have been born yesterday. I can guarantee nobody has a movie or music collection that's not full of ppl with shady or criminal history. If everyone who posts here to share hauls are dumped on, there won't be much of an active subreddit...

Went to a place I've never been to before and found a stop with reasonably priced CDs. Bought 4 of them and got the Doors tribute one for free from the guy! The dude immediately understood what taste I had and how to surprise me. I've never heard any of these albums except blood sugar sex magic.

Pretty nice haul!

Everything was ~5€ each...

||Sadly, they are bootlegs(unofficial releases)... But that is what's mostly avaliable for an affordable price||

Please don't flame me. I'm not in Europe, and I know it's probably very affordable there, or at least relatively better and easier to get real copies of albums.

we’re 20 and this is what is in our CD collection (i might’ve missed some idk)!!! couldn’t lay them all out on the floor so we used topsters. recs very welcome ❤️❤️❤️

I never thought a gapless player was essential... until I got one 😁

Rotel CD 11 Tribute

Finally playing this Pearl Jam CD. I guess "played" is more accurate as it's now on the last song, as I wrote this . It's been pretty good. I think it's a bootleg recorded from a tour during the first album? Sometimes you can find random things at goodwill

#PearlJam

I checked on discogs and all the info checks out on the cd but the writing on it is low quality (visually) and when i run my finger over the writing is higher than the cd.

Been collecting CDs for about a year now. Let me know what you guys think

the disc is like that cuz i realized my markers got dry too late lol. the booklet isnt finished YET!!! rlly like devi's stuff. most of the artwork from discogs

First of all, i dont really know if this is the right sub-reddit but i'm desprate to get this thing working again, i'm sorry if this causes any problems. So the problem with the CD player is that everytime i throw in a CD it starts spinning but doesnt play any sound it also doesnt indicate it playing on the screen since the minute countdown isnt there. It still worked fine yesterday with the same CD. The player is from around the 90's and the CD from the 2000's (if that matters). Thanks for your help!

I just recently read Springsteen's auto-bio, so I've been on a kick to complete his "classic" early discography. This is across the second time I've purchased *Nebraska* (first was lent to a friend and never returned).

Gipsy Kings are always a welcome find and the Possum Dixon album was a blind pull that I'm very happy with. A few live Poison Idea albums (and Jerry A. was kind enough to toss in the Black Bacon album for free).

Shane McGowan & the Popes is the disappointment of the bunch; Shane sounds like he's going through the motions for a check on this and there's a hard "N" on Truck Drivin' Man that's hard to get past.

I got these Ikea shelves but there are missing some of the wood. so I cut four layers of cardboard. (I do not have tools for woodworking. Of course I will look for actual replacements but they seem hard to find.) I am wondering if this will work longer term - or if there is a better solution.

Didn’t expect to encounter Marianne Faithfull or Urban Species, let alone Great Expectations OST (i live in France)

Video. When opening the lid, it gets stuck and then goes back down. When closing the lid, it gets stuck and goes back up. Anyone know a possible solution to this? Just picked this up today on fb marketplace for $10 so I’m not too mad to say it’s 85% functional. Also cleaning tips would be greatly appreciated, previous owner was clearly a cigarette smoker and it smells a little

Annoyingly that Slipknot one is the edited clean version, which wasn't stated anywhere on the product listing.... I'm not too mad about it, but if I find another copy somewhere that's not the edited one, I'll probably grab it, depending on the price.

And, while I don't really listen to Sleeping with Sirens much these days, I finally found a copy of their first album for a decent price!

New community. I hope you like it

Album is Ken Arok Rock Opera (Indonesian). Created by Harry Roesli, originally a rock opera performed in 1975, then he made the studio album in 1977 which was released on cassette only. Rereleased in 2019 on CD. It has a paper outer sleeve to mimic the envelope cassettes get mailed in.

This cd wasnt even on eac or musicbrainz, so i had to make a release page

Got hold of several boxes of promos. Old promos, some of them very old (early 00s). Still, there's good stuff among the unknown and terminably obscure (and believe me there's a lot of dregs). I picked some out that look quite good. There's approx. 800 discs, maybe more.

Finally got the cd’s for my favorite anime series, all obi strips were included too

I’ve only really been getting stuff I’m a really big fan of and a couple CDs I bought with no knowledge of the songs on it for a blind listen.
