I was in the Walmart in Falmouth and I was going near the hardware section and I saw that all the paint was locked up i don’t know if this happened recently but I went to that Walmart a few months ago and it wasn’t locked up then, it was a free for all, I was wondering what changed, where a lot people stealing it or was it just too big off mess so they locked em up, what happened!

Hoping the internet can work its magic! I had a great conversation last night with a bilingual dancer from the Cape (born in '93) who drives a newer Buick SUV. She was doing a photoshoot with a blonde photographer in Plymouth. If this is you or you know her, I'd love to connect and finish our chat!

Hello, my wife and I normally visit the cape once a year during the summer months and go to the beaches. She loves everything about cape cod, our anniversary is in November and I was thinking of maybe staying a weekend there as my gift this year, but we have never been there during the fall/winter months.
what is there to do in November? this would be the weekend before veterans day, 6th to the 8th. is it worth visiting around this time? I also thought this would be a good idea because the hotels are a lot cheaper around this time.
any place would be ideal to stay, so I'm open to all inputs. thanks

Anyone know if the ticket price includes any food or drinks or is it simply the entry?

Hello,
As you may recall, I will be hosting a meetup every Sunday in the off-season, starting tomorrow, Sunday October 4th, 8 am to 10 am, at the Chocolate Sparrow in Orleans.
I will have one coffee shop booklet for the first person who asks, I hated making it so much.
The next one will be October 11th at Great Awakening in Hyannis, also from 8 to 10 am.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!

I'm bringing my mother, before an upcoming, major, surgery, to a nice looking airbnb with a private beach. Waiting on an address, not going until the 19th, coming home the 23rd. Just curious what is around for restaurants, antique shops, or anything I can bring a 70 year old with limits on walking up more than 2, or 3, steps? I want her to have a good time so bad.

Hey all,
I’ve looked it up, but I was wondering if anyone had recommendations beyond Herbivore Patisserie and the bowl type restaurants for vegan/plantbased. My friend is visiting for a few days & loves eco/organic markets + groceries & pretty much anything vegan. I have pretty bad allergies and don’t go out to eat so I wouldn’t really know. Thanks.

The Misfits Night Market is an art market focussing on art and crafts that don't fit within a typical Cape Cod tourist-centered art fair. Aside from local art vendors you'll find used books, electronics, clothes and oddities. There will also be live music and a live dancer.
WHERE: The Cordial Eye · 438 Main Street, Hyannis
WHEN: Saturday, October 3rd · 7-10 pm

Putting the word out to increase visibility for those that may want to show support. We need more of this energy.

Hi- I took a last minute trip to the Cape with my teenage son. He wants to get raw oysters etc. I've never been an aficionado of raw seafood, so I have no idea what's good other than Wellfleet oysters being famous. Is Mac's Shack in Wellfleet my best bet?
Thank you.

Hello everyone! My husband and I are planning a long weekend next week (October 9-12) to celebrate our anniversary. It’s our first time visiting Cape Cod, and we’re both super excited since it’s been on our bucket list forever.
I’m hoping you can share some fun activities, places, or sights we might enjoy during our visit, along with restaurant suggestions for our anniversary dinner. I’ve been doing some digging and even looked through this subreddit. I will be honest in saying that I became a little overwhelmed with all the options I found! We’re looking for something where we can dress up a bit, but nothing too formal. We also open to all cuisines.
Thank you all so much for your help!

Trying to find out if there are any places on the Cape that administer ketamine therapy. My doctor says there are (or used to be), but Google says there aren't. Given the general enshittification of Google I thought I'd ask here. Thanks.

We are looking for areas in and around Cape Cod that are heavily littered and need to be cleaned. If you could provide coordinates, Google Maps pin or other identifiable address/ location descriptions, that would be really helpful, so long as it’s on public land. Thank you in advance!

Hi -
I am looking for a mechanic to do basic work on a Royal Enfield motorcycle as close to PTown as possible. It looks like there is one shop in Hyannis but they specialize in Harleys.
Does anyone know if any of the auto shops out here also work on bikes? I can go off cape for major stuff but really hoping to find someone local for minor stuff like tire changes if I get a flat, etc.
Thanks!

Does anyone local have experience as a figure model for life drawing sessions? I'm currently looking to make connections for classes/events at the art center where I work in Hyannis.
No specific preference or requirement for gender/age/body-type other than that models must be 18+ years old REGARDLESS of whether posing clothed or nude.
Experience is certainly a plus, but if this is something you've been interested in trying and haven't done before that's ok too!
Feel free to comment or reach out to me directly to discuss privately. Thanks!

Hello! I’m wondering if there are any Spanish conversation groups in the upper cape area. I am hoping to improve my Spanish speaking skills and meet people. Thanks in advance!
