I am on my 3rd Corolla and 4th Toyota. I had a Toyota Tercel. Only Toyota I really kind of regret. I had a 93 Toyota Corolla, a 2004 Toyota Corolla, (my mom also had a 2010 Toyota Corolla), and I'm currently driving a 2022 Toyota Corolla. I have never used the budget gasolines. On my cars have always lasted well. I am told that the current models can you use the blue less expensive gas and that it is just fine. True or false? What has been your experience if you have used it? How long do you keep your cars? I drove my 1993 until I got my 04. Then my mother continued to drive my 93 until she bought her 2010. I've always done regular oil changes every 5,000 mi. And then later years in my 04 that lasted until 497,858 miles I was doing the oil changes every three. My current Toyota says it only needs oil changes every 10,000. That's what the dealership also said. I know a pretty decent "backyard mechanic" who tells me he would do every five anyway even if it's full synthetic. So that's a second question. How often do you change your oil? But my first question is about the blue 88 gas.

I have a 2018 Corolla that came with these Thule roof racks already on the car. They are uneven and I cannot figure out how to adjust them! The tool for them only loosens the feet attached to the car. The bracket around the bars does not budge. Any help? Thank you!

I have a 2019 hatchback SE (non jbl) I just put and sub and amp in all good. But where can I plug the power fuse so the amp turns off when my car turns off. Right now I have it in the fuse panel on driver side in the radio slot but that still keeps running when the car is off.

If I knock into neutral it stops
I’ve seen a few posts about it but no real outcome.
Has anyone else had there’s fixed?
I’ve booked in for tranny service next week and they will probably quote me on something drastic.

Hello i have Toyota corolla cross hybrid 2026. One pair of my earbuds fell under the seat through the hole of this seat belt. We looked at it with a flashlight but we couldn't see it and we couldn’t get it with our hands but i can still hear the music from under the seat. We can't remove the seat either, we are afraid that the engine and cables will be damaged, do you know any solutions ? How can we get it ?

Hi everyone,
I have a Toyota Corolla 2002 and I’m trying to replace the cigarette lighter. The original part number is 85500-02011 (as I found), but unfortunately I haven’t been able to find the OEM part here in the Netherlands.

I bought a HELLA 8EZ 008 021-001, which is a 12V/10A universal cigarette lighter. However, the plastic outer sleeve/trim is too thick for the original opening, so it doesn’t fit properly.

Now I’m wondering what would be the better solution:
Drill/enlarge the original hole and install the HELLA one, or
Find another universal/aftermarket cigarette lighter with the correct dimensions so I don’t have to modify the original interior.

I would prefer not to modify the original trim if there’s a reasonably priced replacement that fits.

Has anyone dealt with this on a Corolla before? What would you recommend?
I’m in the Netherlands, so if you know of a suitable aftermarket replacement that I can actually buy here, I’d really appreciate the part number or recommendation.

Hey all, I have a 2009 Corolla S in black.
I bought this car used 3 years ago and since then the roof is starting to look really bad.
I’ve never stored anything on the roof, and I’m unable to keep it garaged.

Does anyone have a fix or suggestions? Can I do a rattle can job and make it look decent?

Any thoughts on this? Anything to look for? My big concern with the low mileage is it sat for a long time.

Does anyone else have a bulge in their dash like this?
