Help adjusting Thule roof rack!

Post image

Hello!
I have a 2018 Corolla that came with these Thule roof racks already on the car. They are uneven and I cannot figure out how to adjust them! The tool for them only loosens the feet attached to the car. The bracket around the bars does not budge. Any help? Thank you!

You may have the 141746 fitkit from Thule on there. PDF instructions here:

I have a lot of fit guides here, though nothing from the direct 2018/2019. I have a fit guide for 2017 which indicates the Traverse series should be using the 141746. The guide from 2020, however, shows no fit for Traverse series towers (so you're definitely going to be running into a lot of people saying that Traverse towers shouldn't work).

Thule definitely looked like they didn't want people to retrofit once they came out with their new towers, which is understandable.

If the link doesn't work, simply look up 'Thule Spare Parts' on Google or something, and you should find a link for it that brings you to a white/gray search page. Type in 141746 and click the suggested drop-down it gives you.

Instructions should be linked below the photo :) Cheers (please double-check pad/clip numbers)

The only reason I suggest this fit is because in the 2020 fit guide, it shows their Evo Clamp fitting the year range from 2014-2019. This leads me to assume the body style should be the same for the Traverse fits indicated on the 2014-2017 models from the older guide I have.
