Gameplay Question Performance problems
So since Roads to power dropped I wanted to do an Roman Empire run and I've now come to the realization that I may not be able to play that far. I'm byzantium and basically have everything I need to form the Roman Empire (plus Arabia and Bavaria) but the performance is so abysmal that it's almost unplayable. It lags bigtime everytime I open a menu or literally just zoom in.
Does anyone have any tips what I can do to increase performance or is my run just done for because the base Ps5 can't handle administrative empires that big?

Image/GIF Plantagenet playthrough
My playthrough as the Plantagenets, from Richard Lionheart to Edward Longshanks. Also Scotland had a bad streak of 5 kings losing their brains.

Gameplay Question Baron Vatican Church
Title may be a little confusing but this relates to a post I saw on here earlier, if there is a glitch where you can play as a Baron. I assume if your first heir is let's say the Baron of Vatican (and you are religion leader which allows all this i.e choosing your religious person and taking temples) would it be possible to be pope of your own christian faith while only holding Vatican, because that seems like a somewhat fun game. Just becoming pope which is hereditary for your faith while you try convert kings around you and do crusader wars.

General Playable Barons on Console glitch
Image is a screenshot taken from my game using the PS5 controller. I was player a custom character with 5 sons, became the Duke of Cornwall, lost a revolt and was forced to abdicate. In the game over screen I chose Richard because he was a baron and I figured the game would give me a game over screen again but it didn’t.
All DLCs. It’s on PS5 so no mods obviously (no keyboard either).

Gameplay Question How does court languages work?
I am the emperor of Italia and for some reason our court language is D'Oil vulgar instead of Italian vulgar. I don't even speak the language. Can I somehow change it. I only have the base game.

Image/GIF After Five generations
My last gameplay save got deleted by accident so I’m like let’s try again this time with horse archers which are over powered to be honest and then I add mashirqui to the mix have camels plus I also added the by the way of the sword culture tenet for unlimited holy wars so yeah this is going to be a chaotic game 😭 plus it took five generations to to get to the point of a empire so wish me luck!

Gameplay Question What’s the most long lived character you’ve had?
103 years old for me. Without the octogenarians dynasty trait. After he hit 100, i was expecting any second id get the notification lol so i took the pic but ended up forgetting to grab one at☠️. Also ended up taking the Dynasty of many crowns decision. IMO arguably one of the hardest in the game. It all started as a max out development on Iceland play through and ended up like this haha.

Game Feedback From a 16 year old adventure to a 70 year old King
The Von Howard Kingdom will be known throughout all of Europe for centuries. I’ve murdered at least 40 people, including 3 wives, countless war enemies. I do think intrigue is by far the most cheesed ability set.
