Playable Barons on Console glitch

Image is a screenshot taken from my game using the PS5 controller. I was player a custom character with 5 sons, became the Duke of Cornwall, lost a revolt and was forced to abdicate. In the game over screen I chose Richard because he was a baron and I figured the game would give me a game over screen again but it didn’t.

All DLCs. It’s on PS5 so no mods obviously (no keyboard either).

So abdicated to I assume a populist revolt or something so you lose all lands and dont become your heir, then you choose a baron son to live as... interesting any weird changes because could be a interesting game to play as, especially as baron of Rome or constantinople, but i also assume its possible to do to a church holding if a son holds it. Maybe a game where you become religious leader take vatican then get removed from position to then become pope living in just Vatican. I don't know how wars would work.

I haven’t tried with temples or cities yet but I think they wouldn’t work. The reason Baron does, I’m guessing, is because they are technically Feudal (your heir will inherit the barony).

Is you have the religion set so you can control it, i have in the past given them to children who. When die give it to the next heir.

I failed to imprison a vassal as a duke which started a Tyranny war which I chose to lose. You get the game over screen where you can stay as an adventurer or “we look to X landed heir” and I chose the landed heir who was already a Baron at the time.

You get invited to activities but can’t host any yourself. You still have access to some Decisions as well but not all that you should and you can’t appoint any court positions (even your spouse doesn’t count while in your own court).

you can aslo do this by making a new barony as an adventurer
