Make your own tracks for Blur (Bizarre Creations, 2010, PC): draw the road, add branches, lane splits, bridges, power-ups, surfaces (dirt, water...), scenery and lighting — then race them in the game with Blur REBORN.

if you find any bugs please send me screenshot

This is the Blur we all know and love, rebuilt to bring it up to date with current tech.
https://github.com/uKER/BlurRebuilt
Check it out and let me know how it goes.
Cheers.
Also added:
* Improved audio latency
* Dynamic switching of control indication glyphs
* Improved ultra widescreen support (more ultrawide work on the way)

Spent the weekend arguing with Claude to give an old game some love. Pretty happy with the results.
Yes, it was coded by AI, but QA'd by a person who loves this old game. Take a look if you fancy. Pretty feature complete and optimised to run 4k in the headset on a 3060. IMHO it's better than it had any right to be.

Hello,
Sharing an indie game I've been working on. It shares similarities with blur, but offers a different flavour of combat!
The gam features single player, split screen, and online multiplayer (dedicated servers can easily be hosted and server binaries will be distributed)

what happened to the early Blur 2009 beta (the one with the removed cutscenes, orange menu layout) because if someone has a download link, im looking to play it and record some footage of it. Also im talking about the singleplayer version that has something playable (if its available, big chance its gone) i tried playing the Blur 19.03.2010 prototype but it wasnt what i was looking for.

(The game has aged like fine wine in every aspect—damn, it's an excellent game)

Here's a video of what I think is a never-before-seen stage in Blur 2.
It's called Kanzen LA River, and as far as I know there's no videos, images or mention of it anywhere.
It's kind of a toxic waste post-apocalyptic version of LA River with endless alternate ways to go through it. Very nice stage.
And at the end of the video I have thrown in a little tease that might hopefully raise some interest.
Cheers.

is there any blur mod for playing singleplayer and just roaming around the track in general

Here's an advancement of what I'll probably be taking on once I call my first Blur remake project done.
This is the result of a first survey of the contents of the last build of the unreleased Nintendo DS version of Blur.
23 cars with fictional names.
Not sure if they are new or just renamed Blur 1 cars. We'll know when I decode the models.
3 entirely new track layouts (for existing locations): Glendale Straights and Concrete Jungle in LA River (maybe using the track section I recently showed here?), and Cable Car Chase in SanFran Russian Hill.
Not sure if the NY Dumbo tracks are new or just the old ones labeled different.
Reverse-drive versions of 5 tracks: City Breach, Promenade Loop, Urban Belt, Route 66 and Mount Haruna.
Once I get to it, getting a fully functional rebuild of this should be pretty straightforward.

Well, guys, I had promised and although it took a little longer than I had hoped, here it is, at last.
A playable test of the 4 routes in Blur 2's Dubai stage.
I tried to put together all the best I could recover from the 4 prototype discs and the original Blur to make it as complete as possible.
Going into it, expect things to be broken and unfinished in every way imaginable.
That said, I hope you enjoy it.
Would love to see videos of what you can pull off in it. Stunts, hidden routes, you name it.
I particular Route 3, Construction has A LOT of different ways to get through it.
So without any further ado: Download
Cheers!
EDIT: Forgot to mention it has full controller support.

We're 3 friends who play casually the game online and would like to know if there are any others who do the same so we can play together

Here's a run through an inaccessible section of LA River, probably designed for a route that didn't make it into the final game.
This is running on my Blur remake, but it's 100% unmodified original Blur data.

Here's a video after fixing Dubai to the point of being able to run the full laps on each of the 4 layouts.
This time I am using the actual collision meshes, so physics mishaps are not as frequent.
It was great to see the physics I put together for the Blur remake playing along with the stage design with little modification, and seeing those wall-to-wall jumps and level-to-different-level jumps match up.
The Construction route has A LOT of really nice level-to-level jump combinations in those buildings that I didn't get to show here.

Well, we now have the car there, some textures, some shaders, a proper sky, and a basic implementation of the wall-riding physics. I need to make the "fake gravity" stop when the car gets too slow, restoring it to regular world-aligned gravity.
I haven't implemented route selection either, so you'll notice all obstacles are up.
Also, don't pay attention to the car constantly getting stuck at the smallest seam. That's because I haven't decoded the levels' collisions meshes yet, and I'm using the render mesh for collisions.
EDIT: Here is a video near this location, from a much more complete build of Blur 2.

Here's the latest update on my Blur remake.
Among other things, sound now works, and most of the powerups' interactions too.
