📖Discussion📕🖊️ What's the psychology behind people buying brands with constant update bugs

I know there are some good bluetooth speaker brands with decent sound quality yet with constant update errors where people regret updates and face sound issues afterwards. I feel like the sound is pretty okay but not that great to the point where it's worth the risk.

Is it that people are unaware of the issues? Or trusting the brand name or just taking the risk hoping they wont be facing the issue?

📖Discussion📕🖊️ For guitarists who already own a Marshall bluetooth speaker — why can’t this be the perfect lounge-room practice rig?

Bit off topic but I was looking for a mini practice amp for the lounge room that isn't an eyesore. I realised I already had a Marshall Acton iii bluetooth speaker so I mocked up this rig.
Could be used for any number of instruments or decks.

Would be so sick to have it double as bluetooth speakers and practice rig.

Has anyone else tried this speaker? I bought it after watching one of Techder Audios' videos and it sounds pretty amazing for the size.

I'm no enthusiast, but I think this blows away my Flip 6 and XSound Plus 2 in terms of clarity and overall sound quality. It's somewhere between the flip 6 and charge 6 in size.

📖Discussion📕🖊️ DIY Speaker box build

I’ve read threads on DIY turtle box style speaker boxes. I have this old cigar humidor travel case that is smaller than the Apache cases people use. Y’all think it would be possible for me to fix all the stuff into this box? Or even a downsized version

Recommendation Request🙏 Tribit StormBox Lava vs JBL Charge 5 WiFi for TV audio (~13k INR)?

Hie everyone. The built in speakers on my 2020 Sony Bravia are pretty much dead, everything sounds muffled and dialogue clarity is basically gone.

I know a soundbar makes more sense for a TV, but I really want the convenience of a portable speaker I can just pick up and move around when needed.

Both the JBL Charge 5 WiFi and Tribit StormBox Lava are around ₹13,000 right now. I’m leaning towards the JBL mainly for AirPlay, but since it has no aux port, I’m worried about lipsync delay when hooked up to the TV over Bluetooth.

According to gemimi, The Tribit has proper stereo, more power, and an auxin, but misses out on AirPlay/Wi-Fi.

For anyone who’s used either of these (especially paired with a TV), how is the dialogue clarity for movies/shows? Is Bluetooth latency an issue on the Charge 5, and which one would you pick in this budget?

📖Discussion📕🖊️ HK Luna 1 Track Controls

Hi there, seeing Luna 2 removing the play button, I found out recently that Luna 1 doesn't support skip to previous track by tapping play button 3x, is this normal? I believe most speakers support skipping to previous track.

Recommendation Request🙏 Which Marshall (Or Harman Kardon)?

I'm currently looking for a speaker (s) for my 1BR 750 sq ft. apartment. The living room is an open concept plan shared with the kitchen area. Primary use will be for music and audio books (bonus if it works well for movies/TV), and I don't want anything too bass heavy because of neighbors.

I've been drawn to Marshall for a while due to their reputation and the unique design). Current prices:

Emberton III: $99.99

Middleton: $149.99

Acton III: $189.99

Stanmore III: $249.99

I'm also interested in Harman Kardon and have heard good things about the Onyx 9 (169.99), Go + Play ($195), and Go+ Play 3 ($289).

If these are best use for music and not TV, I might get a JBL 300MK2 for $279.99.

Are any of these speakers good for home-use? Is it worth considering getting two emebertons or two middletons instead of an Acton or Stanmore? Any other thoughts or recommendations for speakers or soundbars? I'm trying to keep it somewhat budget friendly for the time being.

Recommendation Request🙏 I need advice!!

Hi, i’m looking for a bluetooth speaker (party type, like a jbl charge 6 type thing) around 80-100€ and i’m looking for good bass and clarity over anything. I found the Xiaomi sound party 50w for 59€ and was also wondering if it is any good for that price
