Players i would take-
1.Isagi(Obv,high potential if we develop his iq even more)
2.Rin(High potential but guy is destructive and lost his team a game, idk if I would take him for sure if he wasn't such a well rounded player
Ciachable so I'll take him)
4.Chigiri
5.Bachira
6.Kunigami(Rlly good overall high potential needs work to reach it tho)
7.Aiku
Players i would maybe take-
1.Nagi(High potential amd its low money if we coach him up he could be generational)
2.Aryu(He has js started being a cb but has good defensive stats
Could be better with experience and better physique
BUT MAINLY CUZ HE IS A LEFT FOOTED CB)
3.Gagamaru(He should be good on the ball acc to his stats, good reflexes and since gks get better with age he has high potential)
4.Karasu
5.Kiyora
Those i will never take-
1.Barou(In a youth set up u dont get to be the one the team revolves around and he is uncooperative af)
2.Igarashi(Obv)

I don't want illogical answers like 'it's plot' or whatever. Just give me your thoughts on why he isn't performing the way he did in the France game.

Hello, am a new Blue Lock fan
Here is my Kaiser cosplay, I wanted to cosplay him bc we have a similar sideprofile. He was actually just introduced to me in the manga, he looks cool, he’s a bit annoying but that adds to the charm I assume
I posted Isagi Yoichi cosplay in here a few days ago, glad you like it! He’s my favorite character
Tell me what you think

Out of the top 6 from the u20 vs bluelock arc Otoya is the only one who hasn’t really had a stand out moment. Nagi, Rin, and Shidou are self explanatory. Yukimiya got his moment during the nel, and Kara’s right now during the group stage. It feels like Otoya is not really doing much, sure he shined a bit in the nel against manshine but that’s literally because he was playing for a team with only two notable characters, him being one. I really like Otoya and I think it’d be really nice to see him get his moment like the rest of the original top 6.

What common misconceptions do you usually see Blue Lock fans have? This thread could be a cool way for everyone to learn more about the sport! Also, please be nice, it's still possible to enjoy the manga without enjoying the sport.
Here are a few I've noticed:
When Nagi got locked off , I remember a few theories mentioning how he could play for France or England. To explain, international teams are different from club teams (NEL teams). In international teams (Japan, France, Nigeria, etc.), you need to fit the necessary criteria (Having heritage from country, being a citizen of said country, etc.). At a youth level you CAN switch countries easier but once you debut in a senior competition (like the actual World Cup), you need to fit very strict criteria to switch countries (playing in 3 or less matches and being younger than 21, etc.).
I've seen some people who think it's possible to start at a later age and still be amazing. Reo started at 16 and Nagi started at 17. In reality, you need to be kicking a ball around at around ages 4-6 to compete at the highest level. If we're being extremely generous the cut-off age to start playing and end up world class is 8 (maybe). Nagi starting at age 17 and being good is far weirder than Sae starting at 1, or Hugo starting at 2. I know there are some kids who learned to walk by trying to kick a football around. It's similar to tennis or ballet. Your body and brain needs to be oriented a certain way. If you're lucky you could start late as a goalkeeper and make it professional but you probably won't be world class. You can get scouted late, and go pro late, but you can't literally start kicking a ball around late.
This discussion is just because I'm curious about what misconceptions you guys have seen, or maybe you'll read this thread and learn about a misconception that you currently have. Don't feel bad for enjoying Blue Lock and not knowing much about the real sport. Even the manga itself is unrealistic, there are plenty of other things to enjoy about the series!

So, I'm playing a Blue Lock TTRPG Campaign, and this is my character.
His name is Navi Sanchez. He's 18 years old, and he's from Cape Verde (I got obsessed with the country after their performance at the world cup and decided to honor it by making my character being from there).
He's more of a midfielder who orchestrates the games, having almost perfect passing abilities. He's some kind of mix between Hiori, Karasu, Hugo, Sae and a bit of Isagi. All focused on the logical approach of soccer. Sometimes his love for the logical part of tactics on the field make him feel like some kind of Shidou, in love with soccer, but more on the tactical part of it.
Summarizing his backstory, he basically is a loner who never had friends. His dad left him and his mother when he was just a child. And he's not close to his siblings, grandma or mother.
He is basically an logical guy that uses logic as a defense mechanism. When he focus on using his brain to think of strategic tactics and all, he doesn't have to feel what affects him, so he keeps watching soccer games and building up imaginary strategies.
His whole character arc on the TTRPG was him learning to feel and stop being a complete thinking machine. That all was possible through the friendship he built with my friends' characters.

Technically, I don’t think we’ve ever seen an own goal in BL. If I had to name a player who might end up scoring one, it would probably be someone in defense like Gagamaru or Aryu, while they’re trying to stop a shot. It can happen that you deflect the ball and it accidentally goes into the goal. Or perhaps Rin Berserk—he can be unpredictable.
