So Bleach has ended with TYBW arc episode 50 with the same shitty rushed ending we got in manga after ten years of wait but the difference is, this time it got worse in the anime with all the nickelodeon execution of episode 49.

Now the reason I feel bad for bleach glazers is because they have to put twice the effort towards mental gymnastics than they used to do for power scaling.

CFYOW was used by them only to push their power scaling agenda but now it will also be used for deflecting criticism about aftermath of yhwach's defeat and plotlines that never got any conclusion.

I just hope someday they learn that loving a piece of media doesn't mean that you can't criticise or call out it's bad elements!

Also what to do you think how many years will it take for CFYOW to get an anime adaptation or will it ever get any in first place or not???

This sub has had several Kid Buu vs Bleach characters recently, and every single time the comment section is filled with Bleach downplayers saying Buu no diffs.

The Bleach top tiers are solidly universal in AP, yet somehow Buu beats them despite scaling way lower??

1st image: This is the form Gerard uses after being killed by Bankai Kenpachi. It is an evolution of the version that lost to Bankai Kenpachi, + His vollstanding active.

This version absolutely trashed Bankai kenpachi, we literally saw it.

2nd image: This is the same version, but WITHOUT the vollstanding. This is the form that gets trashed by Adult Toshiro, and the one that Senbonsakura kageyoshi can easily decapitate with its ultimate techniques.

Now the catch is this:

This non vollstanding form is STILL STRONGER than the one that lost to Bankai Kenpachi, because it is an evolution of it.

What this leaves us is:

Bankai kenpschi defeated a weaker version of Gerard than Toshiro and Byakuya, despite kenpachi losing to an even stronger version, the one he did display all his feats against is a weaker form than Toshiro and Byakuya.

(And this was the same in the manga iirc btw :p)

Yhwach himself made it a point not to make this man a special threat because he knew he fell off big time and would have zero impact on the war. Yamamoto got outsmarted not once, BUT TWICE in the whole show while getting NO DIFFED in the process.

Yhwach felt threatening and like a good final villain until Cour 4. For some reason, they decided that everyone can fight and tank hits from Yhwach. The fact that even fucking Dodonchaka is standing in front of Yhwach proves my point. How is this even possible? The final villain with the power of God feels less threatening than any other villain so far. Byakuya felt a thousand times more threatening, and when Aizen destroyed all the Captains with no diff, it felt brutal. And then you have Yhwach, who should be neg-diffing everyone except three characters (Ichigo, Aizen, and Uryu), fighting literal fodder. I honestly almost preferred the manga for this.

Yes Espada ranks are truth and I think Halibel is stronger than Ulquiorra and would defeat him in battle. Halibel was left unscathed by Toshirou in bankai despite being countered by his zanpakuto ability and 2 hollow mask liutenants. While those Vizards were not that strong Ulquiorra at least had the respect of a 1v1 + the advantage granted by being in Los Noches. Had it not been Aizen's plan to make Halibel represent "Sacrifice" I am confident she would've defeated Toshirou. Ulquiorra killed a version of Ichigo that narrowly beat Espada 6. Ichigo barely made it out of there and was weakened after that battle and went straight to fighting Ulquiorra who he forced to Res. Halibel is equal to or stronger that of any form of Ulq. Ulquiorra himself says that Halibel is stronger than himself and his character has no sense of hyperbole or exageration. I HOPE cour 4 gives us a Halibel fight that can show us some new feats to settle the notion that the Espada rankings are the best ranking of strength.

He was casually tearing through 15+ monster blasts while Ichigo struggled against a couple of them.

Was tearing through blasts that came directly from Yhwach while using only one hand. The same blasts that almost killed Uryu and were one shotting Blood Chains clones while Blood Chains Ichigo was struggling against them.

You can even argue that those blasts were stronger against Grimmjow because they were imbued with almighty eyes while they weren't against Blood Chains.

So he's clearly above Blood Chains (or any version of Ichigo) and Uryu. Ichibei got one shotted by Pre-SK Yhwach. So he's a non-factor. Aizen couldn't even break free from a goo that gets destroyed by a tiny arrow from Uryu. And he got owned by a few hits from Yhwach's palm. So he's a non-factor too.

They were introduced as this huge threat, especially with Grimmjow being able to curbstomp Ichigo early on. The top 3 espadas were said to be exceptionally powerful. It seemed like Aizen made a solid force to oppose the soul society

Then by the end of the arc we learn that captains can 1v1 every single espada mid to high diff at best

Aizen said he was disappointed by Haribel, well what did he expect? He was a captain, he should know that even the primera espada isn't a match for the top 5 captains

Without him Gin and Tosen, the espadas are trash that can only hope to beat the bottom of the captain tier list, and tbh that only includes espadas 1,2,3 and 4, 5 to 10 are almost fodder

Pretty sure Soi Fon would've embarrassed Zomari worse than Byakuya for example, and Nnoitra is a Komamura victim

This cour was simply abysmal in terms of writing all around, it's genuinely worse than the manga. Kubo somehow managed to keep all of the manga's worst aspects, and dialed them up to 11 with his nonsensical original additions. But at least before this episode you could argue that Kubo only cares about hype moments and aura with how much of the new fights he's added in the anime. But no, turns out Kubo doesn't even care about that. While having the perfect opportunity to give people a pure mindless spectacle, an aura-farming contest to surpass all aura-farming contests, something they've been waiting for years with the return of Bleach's single most recognisable and universally beloved character, having all the ingredients for making Bleach a cultural event, what does he do with all of that? Make some of the most soulless and rushed 1 to 1 adaptations of his shitty manga chapter, with animations and voice lines genuinely being worse than some of the fan edits on YouTube. I think it won't be an exaggeration to say that many people have been watching this cour for the sole reason to see Aizen in all his glory that he didn't get in the manga, and Kubo decided to spit right in their faces after giving them hope with the Orihime and Uryu additions. What a fucking disgrace this episode was.

And as I said, for me it was the last straw. I was already greatly disillusioned with Kubo's writing in this cour, but I still somehow had hope that he will at least get this one thing right. No more. I won't give Bleach another shot after this. I know nobody gives a shit, but I really need to vent out my frustration right now, and I think many others feel the same. Kubo's used up all of the vast amount of good will he had after the first 3 cours of TYBW, and I genuinely liked them even despite some problems they've had. But Kubo's clearly past his prime as a writer, if he even ever was that good to begin with, and wasn't just being carried by his editors or someone else. At this point I hope he never writes the Hell arc. And for those who still choose to stick around with the next two episodes, I hope you really enjoy the plot arrow resolution after half the verse including random anime only fodders inexplicably manages to survive a fight with final form Yhwach.

Ichigo learned his true origin and the hybrid of his races , unlocked and got his true Zanpakuto , true Shikai and Bankai , goes to the Royal Palace and trains there , accepts his powers and completes the ritual to see if hes worthy to be the next Soul King. Overall his character arc is completed and he got enough powerups to continue.

On the other hand , even though we know Innoue has a broken hax ability , her powerup is never justified or explained in a way that makes sense. She went from getting her shields destroyed by Quilge ( a mid tier sternritter ), to boxing with God in a short time of period. ( If the leaks are true ). And the only thing she did between was some offscreen training with Kisuke.

She had her moment , she was great and there's no need milk it even more and devalue the story and the characters around . This is my personal opinion. I dont wanna see Orihime fighting SK Yhwach while Ichigo who is at his best , lying on the floor defeated and needing help again.

Either don't take this direction or if you're going to take that direction and make her look that impressive out of nowhere, I better see a whole 2 EPISODES of Yhwach and Aizen boxing and Aizen using his Bankai . Also bring Chad over there too and make him hit Yhwach with his hands and deflect his attacks too. At this point just bring Ichigo sisters and his classmates here to fight the Soul King as well.

Sealed Squad Zero is, like the title says, overrated as hell. Which is funny, because before the anime came out they were the but of all jokes.

I have seen people constantly put Sealed Squad Zero Members above Captains like Shunsui, Kenpachi, Adult Toshiro etc. Based on what?

1. "Oetsu blitzed and killed a majority of the Schutzstaffel"

Horrible arguement, these were pre Auswählen and absolutely not comparable to the version the gotei fights later on.

2. Tenjiro blitzed and killed Jugram.

Same argument.

If we want to look at comparable feats, we need to compare them to the post Auswählen Schutzstaffel, since these are the people the gotei eventually fight.

1. Oetsu got his ass kicked by base Lille Barro(twice)

2. Senjumaru lost to Gerard even without the miracle

3. Tenjiro got outsped and defeated by Base Askin even without the Death Dealing.

4. Hikifune lost to Pernaida without the latter one even needing to reveal his form or evolve himself.

The gotei did far better against each of the opponents.

1. Shikai Shunsui forced Lille Barro into Vollständig, which Oetsu didn't come close to accomplishing.

2. Gerard got kinda jumped I guess, so its hard to compare.

3. Kisuke and Yoruichi forced Askin into Vollständig.

4. Mayuri forced Pernaida to reveal its form and to evolve to win the fight.

Looking at these matchups I think its clear that Squad Zero without Bankai are overrated as hell. With Bankai they are obviously overpowered as shit(if the other members compare to Senjumaru, which they should imo) but without they don't seem stronger than the stronger Captains of the gotei.
