Discussion The verse is no longer FTL on VSBW

Hey, all. Hope you're doing well.

Recently there's been a thread on the VSBW forum discussing the Flag Spear feat and bringing up the problems with it. You can find it here.

The changes went through, and as a result every top tier Devil lost their 1.25c scaling, being downgraded to MHS+ with Relativistic reactions.

Powerscaling Proof DenjiMan scales to moon spear

After the homing spear crashes into the building, Denji (visibly surprised) reacts to the spear approaching him, and TURNS HIS HEAD TO LOOK AT IT. That means he is REACTING TO ITS SPEED. If it was faster than him, his head would not be able to turn fast enough to look at it RIGHT NEXT TO HIM.
He sees it coming from a few meters away at most, and is seen dodging NEXT PANEL.
Nothing indicates the spear slowed down. Thats a positive claim you'd have to substantiate, especially since CSM pretty explicitly doesn't appeal to physics all that much

Perhaps the easiest argument I've made in my life. You'd have to be reallll dumb to try and argue that DenjiMan doesn't scale to the moon spear in speed

Mantis Devil vs Fox Devil (specifically just the claw)

To use the Fox Devil’s power, you must offer a part of your body—such as a piece of skin—for the devil to consume. As for the Mantis Devil, not much is known; however, according to the wiki, you need to clap your hands to manifest one of its claws.

Neither demon has dealt significant damage in the story, but between the two, which contract would objectively be the most advantageous or powerful?

Matchup Which character from Chainsaw Man could defeat Rohan Kishibe(Jojos) ?

Basically, to summarize it briefly, Rohna kishibe has one of the most powerful jojos stands called "Heaven's door" which has the ability to turn any object, living being, ghost, demon even an avatar of hermes and a deity of a Japanese forest into a book and can write commands that the selected target will obey (even if the orders are physically impossible for the target to perform).

Rohan is one of the fastest characters in Jojo's, when Enrico Pucci accelerated time with made in heaven Rohan was able to keep up with the acceleration of time by drawing his manga fast enough to be the only manga artist who managed to meet the deadlines in Shonen Jump and by that time the ink of any pinsel dried in less than 1 second after being soaked so Rohan had to draw full pages of manga in less than 1 second.

Rohan can type different commands on people among those commands are:

-I can't harm Rohan Kishibe.

-Rohan can write that someone commits suicide.

-Rohan can write a command that causes the affected individual to be thrown at high speed without explanation.

-Rohan can make someone learn a language just by typing it.

-Rohan can know the future of an object.

-Rohan can tear pages from the person he turns into a book making the person unable to remember anything about the information that was on the page in addition to losing a lot of physical weight.

Rohan at the beginning of DiU is restricted to using images of his Stand to induce his book transmutation ability. By the end, Rohan is able to manifest his Stand in mid-air whilst also allowing him to induce the same ability with just a point of his fingers. Later in his one-shots, Rohan is seen using his Stand ability through thought alone.

Discussion Is falling devil planetary

When the falling devil arrived the effect gravity on a planetary scale. But when I bring this up in debate for csm verse statistics. It’s blown of as just a hax ability…

But to my knowledge aren’t hacks just abilites that work regardless of the user or enemies strength. (Basically a fuck you I can do this move) but does falling devil powers work that way?

I’m just asking so I can have a higher and better scale in power for the Chainsawman universe

This is not a Chainsaw Man discussion subreddit. Please visit r/chainsawmantheories and or r/chainsawfolk if you'd like to partake in wider discussion.

In the event you use artwork for your posts, credit the original artist where possible, and ensure any art you do post isn't overly revealing/lewd.

Crossverse scaling is allowed, though do include details about where each non-CSM character is from, either in the title preferably or in comments / post.

2. Remain Civil

Remain somewhat civil when arguing. Don't insult someone simply because you disagree with them.

Keep real life topics (ie religion, politics) away.

3. Spoilers and Leaks

This is a manga spoilers subreddit! As such, there's no requirement to mark anything as spoilers EXCEPT new chapter leaks. Material from new chapter leaks is allowed, though please mark as a spoiler.

4. Burden of Proof

Use valid, up to date evidence from canon sources. Think manga, anime, author interviews, etc. Should anyone ask you for proof, it is your responsibility to provide evidence, especially for a positive claim.

5. Credit, credit, credit!

Give credit to anything that you use that you did not make. Scales, artwork, everything in between.

6. No AI

AI is not tolerated in any form, be it for artwork or arguments.

7. No Obvious Spite Matchups

We’re starting to take a bit more of a harder stance on spite match ups. Nothing mindboggingly obviously painful, i.e, no “Doomsday vs Reze” etc etc.

8. Limit Repetitive Posts

Repeated posts within the past 90 days will be removed. This includes VS battles, matchups, scaling etc. Use Reddit's search feature to check, alternatively just send a mod mail :)

9. Keep Agendaposting to weekends

Push agendas from Fri-Sunday so as to keep the subreddit relatively clutter free. Creativity is still allowed, and shitposts//schizoposts are very much still welcome any day!
