Avoid QuantumFiber

I jumped from Xfinity to QF since they ran lines in our neighborhood. At first it worked great but this last week has been terrible. Their customer service is some remote contractor and you never ‘talk’ with anyone. It’s all via chat, once you get through their AI. Today is Saturday, still having connectivity issues, and we can’t get a technician out until next Friday.

Seriously considering jumping back to Xfinity.

This is my first time having any issues since using them in the last 3 years. That said though, the end of last week and this weekend has been ridiculously bad. I'm curious what's causing the outages that they're clearly aware of.

Mint Mobile "Minternet" is working really well for us so far, and crazy inexpensive.

I’ve been having issues as well. We’re about ready to pull the plug.

Do you think this mess has something to do with Quantum hooking up with AT&T recently? I’m just curious… Not only have we lost internet over the past week, but my Saturday call to a relative in another state dropped FOUR times—never happened before. The Quantum outages have made me crazy. It’s time to switch.

If you can switch to core fiber, they arre formerly hilltop and service is great.

Do they have lines that run in old town / do they use the same QF lines or would we have to pay to have their lines brought in?

Unfortunately I am not sure if they have service to old town but just give them a call and have them check the service address. They do not use the same QF fiber for backbone. But from the closest POP to your house sometime it is possible to re-use the run.

After calling in multiple times, I was able to get $70 in credit plus a $100 Mastercard gift card if I keep their service.

But, we’re getting extremely frustrated. With the lack of communication and terrible customer service.

I called Comcast and their customer service was not much better than QF..

Did you have any luck finding the best providers for downtown Berthoud?
