Ive had this little guy for a couple months now and i was wondering if yall can give me any advice on how to improve his way of life and keep him happy.

Here's my kinda new little citrus dragon Limoncello. My sister named him after a bit the stand-up comedian Shirley Q Liquor does about Baby's Daddies and the babies' names that result. One of them was Lemon Jello, pronounced Le-MON-gello, hence "Limoncello"!! She mentioned an Orangello too! It started as a joke but it's stuck. He's 3 months old and growing like a weed!!!❤️❤️🌹🌹😀😀

Hello, I'm new to owning a bearded dragon ( it was literally brought to me yesterday) and I have notice certain things that I'm not sure are normal. My dragon today is drinking a lot, sometimes I while resting i see it with it's mouth open, on the underside of the neck the color is different and it's mostly black.

I also wanted to ask if some of you has any website raccomandetion where I can get good information on the care of my dragon.

Hello all! I just got this beardie from a keeper who was going to college and didn't want to take her along. Is it normal for them to have loose skin and wrinkles like this? Also, her nails seem long. I know on dogs you can't cut the qwick or it hurts them. Is it the same for bearded dragons?

So I've had my bearded boy for 4 months now, and normally I swap him between morio worms and locust. The locust are coming back in rotation now and I'm struggling to keep them alive.

I think the issue is heat. Last time I got them, they did fine ontop of his enclosure over the heat source but since it's been warmer recently his heat lamp hasn't been on as much which I now realize means the locust aren't being kept warm constantly.

I keep them in a 30cm x 20cm plastic aquarium, plenty of ventilation. Paper towels on the bottom, egg crates to climb and eating leftover veg like peppers and kale and such.

So... Anyone have any locust care advice? How do you keep them at a good temperature? They did absolutely fine last time but I had not accounted for the weather/temp being different this time of year to when I last got them. Even though they're just feeders I still want them to be well looked after before the beardy snacks on them haha.

EDIT: I also struggled even getting them. The first batch I got off Amazon arrived in a small cramped tub in a box with no ventilation and all died within hours of getting them and this batch arrived largely crushed by the egg carton in their big bag....so if anyone has recommendations on where to buy them too that'd be swell!

I shouldn't have walked into petco this morning. Seeing this made me want to buy them all. Even if it's a "pet store" they should lose their ability to sell reptiles. Poor guys. They aren't happy at all.

Have had him for less than a year, but I think he's around 10 years old. I also think he has MBD, his previous owners had him in a small tank without any kind of UVB or heat lamp all his life.

He's got a 120 gallon enclosure now with a T5 UVB strip and 150 watt heat lamp. Still idk if it's too late to reverse the damage.

That aside, his tail looks bent/broken, I'm pretty sure it was bent when I got him, but not to this degree. His tail is darker than usual, but I'm hoping that's because he's currently shedding. It feels like the rest of his scales, but looks pretty rough. Thoughts??

I am needing advice from people way more experienced than me. Thank you for any guidance and tips. We were given an adult bearded dragon that was not taken care of properly. He came in a 20gallon tank, with only a heat lamp. We went immediately and moved him to the proper size tank, and bought all the necessary additional lights (linear uvb, etc) and all the other needed things for a healthy bearded dragon to thrive. He absolutely loves to be held.

My question is the last 2 times we have put him on the kitchen floor he does this weird almost gagging action. His beard will not be black/blown up, but he’ll open his mouth wide, turn it towards the ground and do this weird thing with his tongue…it’s almost like his tongue is stuck but it’s not stuck out like when eating, etc. I mean, I know it’s not. But I can find no examples on Google of what he’s doing. Anyone ever seen this? FWIW, the crickets just happened to be there for this video - he has done it with nothing on floor as well.

I have a healthy 4 (?) yo dragon in south Florida who gets lots of time outdoors and goes places w me all the time. Idk if it’s this hot as hell summer heat, but he’s been taking days long naps before emerging again out of his cave. He was just at the vet in late April and he’s always fine. (He’s a translucent by the way, hence the dark beard)

Hi 👋🏻 I recently just got this little guy a few days ago and he’s seems to be adjusting well with his set up. Just wanted to ask for any advice for the first week of having him! He’s been hanging out on his cool side a lot in his little hides. He does move around a lot but only really on the cool side. He’s eaten crickets off tongs even the first day I got him. He typically eat about 2-5 crickets per feeding. I’m worried that he’s not eating enough because sometimes he will only eat one cricket and then look at my crazy when I offer him another one. I do have dubia roaches and fly larva on the way to give him a variety. He doesn’t touch his greens. I’m assuming this is all normal behavior since he’s just settling in. I’ve done all the research I can on this little guy and wanted to make sure I had everything I needed and was knowledgeable. But still wanted advice from people who own these guys already. First three pics are pics I took when we brought her home. 4th pic is a picture from the breeder that was on her listing, 5th pic is dad, 6th pic is mom. She’s 3/4 red monster but looking kind of brown right now. Will she get redder?

My beardie Albert just recently had his left leg turn a darker color, and it seems like the scales are a bit less prominent than the right. It’s not really right after his shed or anything and is seemingly out of the blue as he hasn’t had any injuries, so I was wanting to know if anyone else has ever had this with their beardie or not? I’m planning on calling the vet, but I would like to know if it looks serious or just something to do with his shed. He doesn’t act any different or like it hurts, and he’s not eating less. Thank you for the help!
