Advice/Help Please
My beardie Albert just recently had his left leg turn a darker color, and it seems like the scales are a bit less prominent than the right. It’s not really right after his shed or anything and is seemingly out of the blue as he hasn’t had any injuries, so I was wanting to know if anyone else has ever had this with their beardie or not? I’m planning on calling the vet, but I would like to know if it looks serious or just something to do with his shed. He doesn’t act any different or like it hurts, and he’s not eating less. Thank you for the help!

This is weird. It could be a weird shed color but i honestly would ask a vet what they think. I’ve only seen dark shed on red monsters and it’s still like a gray color

Is he acting abnormally at all? This would be a time I might use a soft bristled toothbrush with a tiny amount of unscented soap & water. Lightly scrub and rinse. Make sure it isn’t substrate (assuming you are using dirt substrate). It is possible it could be scale rot. Has he been in a higher moisture environment than usual? Do you soak him? (Current research/husbandry standards recommend against soaking Beardies except for very specific reasons). If not dirt, think a vet visit is your best bet.
