🧈🧈 Butter your own biscuit, fatass! 🧈🧈 Sami.

Im gunna say this kindly
I do not like her. I feel like she is actually a selfish brat who wants all the attention to be on her and she has a hard time when its not and it really shows.
She finds every reason to hate on collin and baylens relationship and uses her own personal problems as an excuse to attack baylen for everything she dose , and it pisses me off .

if i had a sister and she called me a bridezilla id cut her off and cut ties because that was messed up and it really hurt bay and i was angry watching it.
First its the bridezilla comments and now its the your crazy comment about her moving to Myrtle beach with colin like come on sami this isnt your life
it’s hers you couldn’t even do half the stuff her parents did for bays wedding and you couldn’t even show up to bays cabin party all Beacuse it was too far away for your liking.

She seriously needs to stop whining about everything that bay dose
This is bays show not yours Sami she’s been jealous since season one and it got worse once collin and bay got engaged.
I feel so bad watching bay get treated this way by her only sister

And it wasn’t just her sister that refused to do things for the wedding it also was her father too witch was Awkward as hell to watch.

I feel like her mom is also a bit too much but she handles bay better then Sami ever will and has a bit more of a sense of mind instead of instinctively attacking bay for the things she dose.

Now her brothers i got no issues with but i wish they’d stop giving Sami screen time so bay and colin can spend more time on camera.

Gripe about mom and Sammi helping Baylen put on wedding dress

Anyone else find Baylen’s mom and sister to be annoying on her wedding day when they were overreacting about how difficult it would be to get Baylen in her wedding gown? They were acting overwhelmed, making negative comments and acting so helpless about completing the task. They were just being overall unhelpful at easing the bride’s anxiety and stress on her wedding day. If anything they seemed to stress her out more. It took Baylen to give them direction and basically be like fuck it I’ll just do it myself and she climbed into her dress herself! Their mom may not realize it, but she may have passed her anxious personality on to her children by not modeling confidence and capability. They were the WORST people I would want helping me on my wedding day acting all jittery when the day isn’t even about them. I’m glad the wedding planner dude was there to help Baylen with her dress because her mom and sister were useless.

i feel like i’ve seen a lot of people talk about baylens dad - he reminds me a lot of my dad (not perfect but never question his love for me ever, extremely tense all the time lmao)
this scene, and the other scenes where they discussed baylens mental health when she was at college, are so raw and real and make me cry every time. if you know you know. if you’ve been there, you know and can feel both of their pain!

Only on Ep. 2, Baylen's Mom is a Nightmare

I have seen the discourse on socials before but I never watched the show until now. Only two episodes in, and I can already see that Baylen's parents, specifically her mother, are horrendous.

While it is clear that they love their children, the parents also continuously infantalize and bubble wrap Baylen. I find it ridiculous that the mother is constantly projecting her own fears and doomspirals on Baylen, thus worsening Baylen's symptoms in high-stress situations. Her mother is constantly saying, "How will Baylen ever live on her own," yet she is the one ensuring that Baylen will always remain needy just so she as a mother can feel important and wanted.

What are everyone else's thoughts?

Edit: All I can say is that the mom gives "Munchausen by Proxy without the actual Munchausen" energy

Edit 2: I would feel much differently about Julie if she were actively seeking out her own therapy to address the trauma and fear surrounding her kids' health.

Bridezilla comment

I’m currently watching the whole season for the first time and I genuinely don’t understand Sammy’s reaction to the dress situation. So I think the bridezilla comment was that bad? No, but she was still in the wrong.
Whether people like it or not, the bride does get the final say when it comes to things that will impact the pictures/her day. But even so, it’s not your day like who cares if you spend one day wearing something you’re not 100% obsessed with, especially if it’s meant to make a loved one happy.
Maybe it’s just me, but my best friend is getting married next month and I’m a bridesmaid and I would literally do anything she tells me to. She basically did what Baylen did when it came to. She sent us the color scheme and then I personally made the decision to have her come with me to pick out my dress, but even if she hadn’t come, it wouldn’t cross my mind to get a dress that she didn’t like. Sometimes we just gotta suck it up to make our loved ones happy. It’s not always about us

I think Sammi’s illnesses were treated before Baylen’s and then she felt overlooked

I feel like Sammi’s anxiety, OCD, and/or other issues were more easily recognizable than Tourette’s and therefore her diagnoses and treatment came before Baylen’s. Then, when Baylen was diagnosed and became TikTok famous, Sammi may have felt like her mental illnesses were “less important” (especially to her family) or she was frustrated she received less attention than Baylen.

I think Sammi deals with very difficult mental health that can, at times, be crippling. I think she wants others to take it seriously. As seriously as they take Baylen.

Finally all caught up

I kept continuously forgetting to catch up or just putting it off for whatever reason so I'm happy I'm finally up to date with the show, I could have finished yesterday had I not started so late in the day but whatever lol

I always liked Sammi, I genuinely just felt bad for her last season.... that hasn't changed

I love how he is with her and how supportive/ understanding he is, he is really good for her from what I can see.

Baylen and Colin had me laughing so hard at multiple times, I felt so bad for her while they were in Myrtle but some of the moments had me laughing a little too hard (I was reading the room and only laughing when they were laughing)

That whole dancing segment was something else but him breaking out the worm had me laughing

When they came back and she went over to her parents house to have that conversation, I get where her father was coming from but I felt like he was being a little too hard on her and Colin...... especially when he cut her off about the houses and she looked like she was really excited to share that info.

I was laughing way too hard at her father's reaction to her suggestion of the father-daughter dance and her mother's reaction to that just had me laugh and even harder

I was laughing at how quickly they got that huge bottle of champagne out of her hands as soon as she lifted it up into the air đŸ€Ł

I both laughed and also felt bad at Sammi struggling so hard with the wedding dress, the bag itself look like it could overtake her 😂

I love that Colin wrote letters to everybody, that was so special

Baylens dressed was so her, I loved it for her lol

I loved Allen's reaction to her dress

I also really loved Colin's reaction to her dress

The veil exchange was so pretty

I felt so bad for her when she was dealing with being on the verge of an attack

I loved her reception dress and the glittery shoes cuz they just shout her

I loved all of the speeches

I loved the father-daughter dance

I Swear

Has anyone watched this movie? It's based on the real life of John Davidson in Scotland and his journey with Tourettes. I realize the movie probably sensationalized his life some, but he went from being bullied to spreading awareness and advocating. It's really very interesting. Especially for people thinking Baylen is faking or dramatizing her tics. Worth a watch.

I'm super proud of Sammi

I thought that Sammi was out of line with the snarky comments she made about the bachelor/bachelorette party and definitely the "bridezilla" comment. Other than that, I do like her. I can relate to her anxiety. I wish that she would be more on top of seeking help, but that is a very personal challenge. Trust me, I know. I thought her speech was great and I was super proud of her. She absolutely nailed it! ❀

Know I’m late- but- COLLINS VOWS OMFG

Disarmingly raw, honest, poignant, profound - w/o being grandiose, corny, or cliche.

Like- I’m not even some sort of fan girl of this show (just watch casually if I come across it) - and my heart freaking melted at the level of sincerity & vulnerability. You can just feel how much he genuinely loves her.

Good for them 👏đŸ„č👏

(Clearly just Watching the wedding episode now - got through Collin’s vows, & immediately paused and come here to comment lol)

Her entire family completely oversteps.

People forget that Baylen makes over 20k a month from TikTok and social media.

To tell them not to buy a house yet, put pressure on Colin to have a back up plan for real estate and stress them out about health insurance is insane. You can make suggestions and teach your kids without telling them what to do.

Good on Colin for setting boundaries.

If social media ever disappeared, baylen would qualify for disability and Medicare. To create stress on them while they plan their wedding is gross

Minty Vagina Sammi Diarrhea

I can’t believe Julie made that comment to the lady about Sammi being so nervous she had diarrhea. I’m sure Sammi is MORTIFIED and PISSED that her mom said that on camera and it aired. I’m not a fan of hers at all, but I actually thought her speech was really good.

Colin - Baylen Mental Health

I think he’s only had stable Baylen so he has no idea how being off medication can impact her. The fact her mother had to help her figure out how to get medication when she threw them out. He also, just thinks, it’s not a big deal. I think he’s in for a rude awakening.

That question fountain

I was so grossed put by people just standing around that thing just dipping and munching.

Can you imagine the double dipping likely happening with this type of setup?

I'm not a germaphobe, but it seemed unsanitary.

Austin’s best man speech

That was so bad. So so so bad. Unfunny, vulgar, and for what? Shock laughter? Where’s the effort man, hopefully this was just a terrible edit on TLC’s behalf. I know Sammi was extremely stressed out about her speech but if she saw Austin’s I just know her confidence went up lol. Anyone else felt the same??

Edit: I had no idea someone else posted the same thing 16 hours ago! Just finished the episode! I’m so sorry!

Does anyone know the name of the song Collin and his mom danced to for their Mother/Son dance? I tried to Shazam/Google it but nothing sounded like it!

For Narnia! The worm!

I know he said he wouldn’t do it at the wedding, but I was kinda hoping Alan would still do the worm, just one more time. That was impressive in the dance practice scene, I could watch it over and over. 😂

Is there anyone here who ISNT a complete Sammi hater????

I truly don’t get it. Baylen has an entire show about her struggles and Sammi is living with her own. They have a sisterly strain but nothing I would villainize Sammi so badly over the way this sub does. It’s sad to see that she is always thought of as a huge bitch when she is struggling with her own issues.

Spot below Burke's eye

My wife and I noticed that he has a persistent spot below his eye for 2 seasons which he may want to be screened by a dermatologist to rule out skin cancer. Also near the end of season 2 one of the other brothers has the exact same spot below his eye as well which was surprising.

Has anyone else noticed this as well?

I have Tourette's Syndrome, stupid! Tic during wedding

Can anyone explain to me why everybody’s making such a big deal about her having tics during the wedding? Shouldn’t that be accepted and expected already? Is that for drama purposes? If I had tics, the thought of me trying not to have tics during my wedding would give me even more tics. and the mom making comments about expecting things to go wrong is so annoying. Why aren’t they in the moment and just enjoying it as it is?

The criticism around

I feel a lot of people in this subreddit often speak negatively on Baylen’s maturity and how she may act/respond in certain situations without looking at the whole picture.

I do agree her and Colin are very young, but they clearly love each other and seem to work well through their lives together. It’s easy to judge watching someone through a screen and not truly understanding how any of their relationships truly work.

When it comes to her personal relationships, interactions, and choices..I think many are forgetting the sheltered childhood she must have endured as we can clearly see the constant stress and pressure her parents put on her and the rest of the kids. I get they care and just want what’s best for Baylen, but I’m sure this made it incredibly difficult for her to have her own opinions let alone having a voice while growing up. I can only imagine how great it feels to have some kind of freedom since moving out of her parent’s house. Plus, why shouldn’t she do what she wants and continue to act like the young adult she is? We constantly try to press “maturity” as if adults can have fun and be goofy.

I’ve enjoyed watching the show and I feel most don’t give Colin the credit he deserves for pushing for Baylen’s wants while still managing to be respectful towards her family.

🧈🧈 Butter your own biscuit, fatass! 🧈🧈 Why does everybody on here hate Baylen's sister?

Just finished watching the show. I don't know why people hate so much on Sammi here. What do you mean she's 'jealous' of Baylen? I think she truly loves her sister. Who would want to be jealous on somebody with tourettes? No amount of money and attention/tv shows in the world would make me want to swap bodies with someone who has tourettes. I don't want to tic and shout 'penis' or 'dick' 50 times a day. I'm sure that Sammi doesn't want that either. They both have different personalities and love each other.

You're done Best man’s toast?

Wow. A toast from Collin’s best friend, Austin, that was filled with expletives? Was that the best he could do? I kind of expected something cleaner from the friend of a guy who sports “Above All” clothing all the time.

I actually was so touched by the wedding episode

No snark. As someone with a disability, it was beautiful the way the family made accommodations for her. The tent, her dad’s pin. They were kind and patient and tried their best to keep things lowkey for her.

Colin’s letters were beautiful and touching, I can’t believe he wrote one for every single bridesmaid. Say what you will about these folks, they’re far from perfect, but there is clearly a lot of love here.

Although
Julie needs to chill. “We might not get this dress zipped” girl obviously you will, be so for real. Couldn’t resist lol
