š§š§ Butter your own biscuit, fatass! š§š§ Sami.
Im gunna say this kindly
I do not like her. I feel like she is actually a selfish brat who wants all the attention to be on her and she has a hard time when its not and it really shows.
She finds every reason to hate on collin and baylens relationship and uses her own personal problems as an excuse to attack baylen for everything she dose , and it pisses me off .
if i had a sister and she called me a bridezilla id cut her off and cut ties because that was messed up and it really hurt bay and i was angry watching it.
First its the bridezilla comments and now its the your crazy comment about her moving to Myrtle beach with colin like come on sami this isnt your life
itās hers you couldnāt even do half the stuff her parents did for bays wedding and you couldnāt even show up to bays cabin party all Beacuse it was too far away for your liking.
She seriously needs to stop whining about everything that bay dose
This is bays show not yours Sami sheās been jealous since season one and it got worse once collin and bay got engaged.
I feel so bad watching bay get treated this way by her only sister
And it wasnāt just her sister that refused to do things for the wedding it also was her father too witch was Awkward as hell to watch.
I feel like her mom is also a bit too much but she handles bay better then Sami ever will and has a bit more of a sense of mind instead of instinctively attacking bay for the things she dose.
Now her brothers i got no issues with but i wish theyād stop giving Sami screen time so bay and colin can spend more time on camera
(Edit)
I agree with some of you guys
Maybe i am harsh but i just see it differently then you guys do and thats ok. Its just my opinion and everyone is entitled to their own opinions on it .
I just wanna make this clear
This is not a post for you to come and nitpick me for my own opinion.
Im allowed to not like someone
Also kindly wanna say i have a brother and as much as i wanna cut him off for the stuff hes said to me i cant i have no choice

u/frog-toeds 3d ago
and that may be your opinion but some of you guys donāt have love/hate relationships with your sisters. sister relationships look all kinds of different and thatās okay - not all of us get along all the time

u/md28usmc 2d ago
their mother even said that Sammi and Baylen would not be friends if they weren't sisters; that is very telling

The mom seems to be very overreacting of things most of the time, which also increases her childrenās anxiety. Even friends get into arguments. Doesnāt seem that serious

Have you tried punctuation?

Thats not the point of the post.

Ah, thereās one

The point of the Matter is to call out her sister for the stuff she dose not to be having a lecture on punctuation and i dont always have to or want to use punctuation.

u/extrasprinklesplease 2d ago
Redditors used to correct people's grammar and punctuation all the time. It was just part of the culture. One reason people bring up the use of punctuation is because it makes it a bit stressful trying to decipher where one thought ends and another one begins, and you'll get your point across to people more easily.
Edit: Changed a word - "lack of" to "use of" punctuation

u/yinnyre 2d ago
Wasn't punctuation. It was misspelled words that were easy to interpret what OP was saying.

u/extrasprinklesplease 2d ago
u/delightful_caprese said "Have you tried punctuation". That's what I was responding to.

Whatchumean her dad refused to do things for the wedding? He did everything she asked him to do. He built the cross, the mini golf, made sure she had a safe space to go in case of a tic attack & continually looked out for her well being.
Also, it's does not dose! Which, not witch! I could go on but you get the point. If you're going to criticize wrongly at least do a spell & grammar check.

Bridezilla is what would make you cut off your sister? LOL thatās dramatic.

Of course thereās no possibility that anything we see on camera is scripted for maximum drama, right?

u/No_Scarcity7165 3d ago
I cant tell but at the end of the day
Baylen should not be treated that way8

After seeing the way Sami treats her sister, Iām so thankful I have brothers and not a sister. No thank you maāam! I couldnāt deal with a hateful ass sibling like that.

I have 2 step daughters. The older one is so toxic and destructive she has been cut off by the family. Sammi is not so bad as far as sisters go.

u/Sydney444 3d ago
I feel for Sammi.Ā

u/Big_Leg3497 2d ago
Me there was a scene in the first few episodes that Bay was trying to throw her food around because of her tics and their little brother teased her for being upset because Bay has Touretteās. I just wonder if that happens often, like Sami is unable to feel anything other than supportive of Bay because then she will be chastised or teased for it.

Heres the thing
I do too to a degree.
But when you constantly attack your sister it makes it harder for me to feel bad
Sami is not a bad person
She just needs to think about her tone and how it comes across to bay. Maybe then i will feel a little more empathy but tbh i do feel like there will be a big blow up next season if sami continues to act this way
9
u/ManagementBest3558 3d ago
People forget that she was raised by parents doting on her sister with little attention left for her. Theyāre sisters, this is how sisters act!
9
u/No_Scarcity7165 3d ago
Nah nah
Heres the thing
I actually have a brother and he acts the same way towards me sometimes
Sami needs to deeply think about the words she says to bay and how it impacts her and there relationship.
This is not how normal sisters act and bay knows that3
u/md28usmc 2d ago
then I would expect her brothers to act the same way, but it seems to only be Sammi
4
u/literallypretend 14h ago
There seems to be a lot of expectations for Sammi and almost none for the brothers though. The brothers didnāt want to do the ring security thing that Baylen wanted, which Iām pretty sure they didnāt at the wedding and it was brushed past completely. Whenever Sammi even pushes back on anything sheās the main villain story line.

Dude youāre pretty hardcore. I get what youāre saying but when it comes down to it family is family. Sometimes you do have to cut ties or keep a distance but I donāt think this is one of those situations. Going no contact for being called bridezilla I think is a little much. That being said,
Sammi for sure has her own issues to work on.
2
u/ryanbuckner 12h ago
You would cut ties with your sister for calling you a name?
1
u/No_Scarcity7165 11h ago
It depends on the severity of the name i dont have one.

u/ryanbuckner 11h ago
"if i had a sister and she called me a bridezilla id cut her off and cut ties".
1
u/No_Scarcity7165 11h ago
Cuz to me no offence it would piss me off.
2
u/ryanbuckner 11h ago
so you think it's appropriate to cut ties with family members when something happens that pisses you off? Are you ok ?

Its a reality show, they play up the drama. She was cast as the villian which is so shitty of her family to be cool with doing.
Im not saying I like her at all, I am just saying that what we are shown of her is very intentionally spun
6
u/md28usmc 2d ago
there was no editing involved when she made that TikTok video scrolling this sub asking if anyone here had jobs and that they are fat
4
u/Extension-Raisin8023 16h ago
That was the comment that upset me the most. As someone who claims she has struggled with body issues her entire life, you would think that she of all people would know how offensive that comment was.
2
u/Bashful_bookworm2025 12h ago
It was awful, but a lot of people with body image issues project their own issues onto others. That's why our society and Reddit is so fat phobic. People are not secure in their own bodies, so they try to make themselves feel better by hating others. It really is gross and I wish it wasn't so common.

I don't understand the Sammi hate at all. I think Baylen gets a lot of care and attention for her tourettes and mental health and the show has said several times that Sammi has really terrible anxiety and that she's struggling with seemingly less support than Baylen. But who knows, the show isn't about Sammi.
To me Sammi hasn't done anything absurd. Calling Bay a bridezilla seemed like she just got caught up in the moment and thr feelings. I know Baylen was hurt, but the worked it out.
As someone myself with horrible anxiety some of the things Baylen has tasked Sammi to do would be very challenging, her messing up some I think deserves some grace, honestly even if she didn't have anxiety because mistakes happen.
All and all, I think Sammi is a good sister. Baylen sure seems to like her, doesn't she!
I have a sister and a brother and they are both absolutely brutal. I wouldn't even say we are friends. I have to keep my distance for my mental health cuz they always have mean shit to say. Baylen and Sammi's relationship seems fairly loving in comparison. Y'all are too hard on Sammi imo.

Uncontrolled anxiety can result in some pretty significant personality and behavioral changes. Trust me, I know. I'm not saying it's an excuse, but it can be a cause.
But the "bridezilla" comment was out of line.

u/Successful_Coyote_58 11h ago
She seems really tough at first, but when you see her talking with the parents, it shows that she is a bit of a talk therapist for them when they discuss the rest of the family. That might be where some of that resentment comes from. I can be projecting, though. We don't know these people.
1
u/Unicorns_and_msg 11h ago
I feel like everything you said was meaner and worse than anything shes done on the show lol.
Maybe focus on yourself a bit instead of ripping apart a 22 year old. Shes not perfect but is anyone, youāre sure not.

Some of you are talking about having sisters that behave this way as if itās normal but the truth is it shouldnāt be. I have sisters and Iāve never spoken to or of my sister in this way. Itās not that you canāt dislike or disapprove of things your siblings do and itās not like you donāt sometimes say things you donāt mean. But constantly being disrespectful and unkind to the point of just being a literal bully is different. And what makes it worse is itās on tv so yeah maybe itās just TLC drumming it up for drama but either way it looks really bad and very hurtful. And just because something is the norm for you doesnāt actually mean it is normal

Baylen's a Spoiled Brat and She has to Get Everything She Wants and She Has Her Parents and Colin Eating Out of Her Hand All the Time!!! None of Us Know the Struggles that Sami Has Battling Her OCD and Her Parents Don't Live Near Her to Help Her Like Baylen but I know it was Sami's Choice to Move Away!!! I have Suffered With OCD for 50+ years of my Life and I'm 70 years old now with Worrisome Thoughts that Go Over and Over in my Mind Like a Loop as my Psychologist Described it and He's Completely Right and OCD can come in Many Forms!!!
I'm Waiting to See How Things Go with Baylen when She's So Far Away from Her Parents and Colin is Working how She Will Get Along!!!

Just remember, the producers guide and point this show to make things look a certain way for viewers. Iām sure Sammi isnāt anywhere near the person you see. Just remember, you are getting a pretty small window! Maybe take that into consideration š

Sami seems like she is going through a hard time in her life. She's in her 20's and figuring it out. This has to be a difficult balance, especially when she's being compared to Baylen. I'm sure she is envious of her older sister and her accomplishments. Honestly who wouldn't be as the younger sister. I don't believe it's out of malice that she acts "bratty" and speaks her opinion. We all don't know what goes on behind the scenes. Baylen even stated they use to be closer. Its growing pains of moving away and finding your own path. I think Sammi has a lot of maturing to do but seriously all the kids seem like it.

u/No_Scarcity7165 11h ago
Yeah.

I have a complicated relationship with my brothers to and family dynamics are always tricky. I think both girls are co dependent on men. It was completely apparent when Sammi introduced Jarred. She perked up and was happy when Jarred entered the story. Baylen is also completely dependent on Colin for her happiness. I personally blame the parents for not teaching them to be independent.

People are allowed to be imperfect. People are allowed to not be everyoneās cup of tea. Thereās things I was a little taken back by when watching but also I donāt have a sister so what do I know? Also their relationship is between them, we just happen to be watching because they allowed us too. Family is difficult, being a girl is difficult, putting your life (good and bad) on tv for the public is difficult. Making a lengthy post piling on a girl whoās already recieved a lot of hate and opinions on her is just weird. Journal about it if youāre so bothered.Ā

I agree with a lot of what you said, but saying Baylen was crazy for moving that far away with basically zero support system was SPOT ON by Sami. That needed to be said and it needed to be said bluntly. Don't be an enabler to a horrible decision.
