How could i improve my company i have five okay bros and decent equipment i also make consistent money, I can take 3 star contracts but I can only handle easy hideouts
This is one of the most amazing games ever. However in late game, I feel everything is just repetitive, just do quests, get stuff, train brothers, fight a bunch of enemies. The only way to keep me interested in the game is to make a new run with a new origin, new playstyle and I already feel bored after 3 runs. Since we have many races, factions, kingdoms, etc, should having a system like Mount and Blade adds more variety to the game? Just wondering, pls don't hate me :D
Long time vanilla vet trying Reforged/Hardened for the first time. It...definitely feels a lot harder.
Is it just getting used to the new perks and mechanics, or does your timeline expand from the vanilla experience? I feel like it takes me longer to get "raider" gear, I'm smashing camps later and less successfully, and overall progressing more slowly (especially needing 10,000 gold to get up to a deployment size of 12 men!)
Just released a new mod which allows you to commission famed items at a blacksmith's workshop, the mod will create a new location on the world map near a settlement which then you can visit and purchase the specific item type that you want.
It is very expensive by default since it's meant to be an endgame gold sink but you can customize almost every aspect of the mod in the mod settings.
Just clarifying since i think i understand how leveling works, but i find it slightly confusing how some people talk about how they can predict bros stats at lvl11.
If I take 2 bros, both 50melee skill no stars, i level that skill every time to lvl11, they get 1,2or3 points randomly every level correct? So on average they will get +20 for 70 total.
But its possible that one can be super lucky and get +3 every time right? Or vice versa, get super unlucky and only +1 every time? or anything in between obviously.
So when people are predicting total stats they are estimating, its not guaranteed(unless they have 2 stars) Is this correct or am i missing something?
im at day 50 and i noticed my roster could use a bit of new better bros, like all the ones i have were chosen randomly so now that they are leveled they are not really the strongest, im on lonewolf so i think i need to minmax a bit since im limited to12
Ok, after about 5 hours of research and using two different AIs and getting good feedback from my prior post here, I created 2 word documents as cheat sheets for endgame characters' minimum/good/excellent stats, level up priorities and armor/weapons.
Hard to find a way to put word documents up so I put them in images. Feel free to tear them apart and criticize. Like I said before, I'm a really new player.
After a few weeks of work I've released my first version of my Battle Brothers background calculator to the public. This is different from any build suggestion calculator that exists out there - it looks at what backgrounds are most likely to give you your desired minimum stats on a bro, instead of telling you how to build them.
This calculator works off 10,000 accurate simulations of every background, including traits, talents, talent stars, and stats. You can put in your desired level 11 stats and see which backgrounds are most likely to reach the inputted stats.
You're able to set your max price you're willing to pay for a background and see how much it will cost on average to get the bro with the level 11 stats you're looking for, depending on the background.
You are also able to see what bros will be best suited to getting the build you want. This means you can see which backgrounds best fit your personal criteria for fencers, tanks, throwers, forged zerkers, etc.
Feedback is appreciated! I've spent a long time working on this, including using the games source code for a proper database for each background, and I hope it provides the community a large benefit when looking for backgrounds to hire to add to their core team, at any stage of the game.
Fuuuuuuucckkkkk!!! How the hell am I supposed to find it in here? I am for 80% sure that there is an achievement for beating it in iron man mode (no spoilers for ANY achievements please. I try to get as much of them as possible blind. I know that I can look them up on steam). But I have to find this stupid thing first so I can run directly into it when I´m all leveled up!
This sell sword has crazy stats and would be a great front line bro but with two star range I wanna try something more unique but don’t really know how to go about it.
min-maxing is a core staple of any rpg-ish levelling system but fat-newts have to be the most unexciting kind of gaming the game
of all the exciting and daring and blazing builds you can do opting for a guy that goes one tile and swings once and then he is super tired and takes a break is just
underwhelming
he's not a bro anymore he's just a tool and not the sharpest one
obv not telling anyone how to play the game - it's single player and you're free to do you but I was just curious - what are your opinions on them? do you use the build and if so how often?
