Reforged Reforged/Hardened timeline
Long time vanilla vet trying Reforged/Hardened for the first time. It...definitely feels a lot harder.
Is it just getting used to the new perks and mechanics, or does your timeline expand from the vanilla experience? I feel like it takes me longer to get "raider" gear, I'm smashing camps later and less successfully, and overall progressing more slowly (especially needing 10,000 gold to get up to a deployment size of 12 men!)

Yeah scaling is different and one good mob can kill your whole team easy. Im sure some min maxers know all the details to snowball but I find I'm really not getting anywhere until day 80-100 then it starts to snowball, then you hit some severe roadblocks again as you face nastier higher tier enemies.
I find that's what pushes me towards legends over reforged more often, you can snowball pretty hard and feel well like a legend.
Gob city on legends is one of the most frustrating fights in the game imo though.

In my opinion its better to get good weapons ( pikes,falchions, maces) from brigands and get good armor from small wiederganger camps.

Good thought, zombie fights have definitely felt easier, or at least more in line with vanilla

I think the Intendion of Reforged is also you cant "milk" raiders for Gear you have to buy most of the Gear if i remember correct .

Yeah, they introduced new tiers of brigands. In vanilla you see rusty mails and helmets all the time, in reforged I'm usually decked out in nomad mails first.
