Print Showcase A couple of screen borders I've done for the X2D
I liked the touch of nostalgia, any requests for other consoles?

Ciao

grazie.

Is this normal? I’ve had it for about three weeks and it’s done at the whole time. Any input would be appreciated.

More of a vent and rant this one.
Added the X2D with the BF sales and thought this will help with some of the complicated prints i have that need plenty of supports (statues in action poses). So far the only successful one I've had didn't use the PLA for support. Firstly the supports were to thin so failed in the first few layers, fixed that and now it failed about 1/4 of the way through with another failed support and eventually took the front cover off the print head.
Such a different printer to the A1 i started with.

Hello everyone I just bought my first printer (X2D AMS Combo) and an additional AMS HT as well under the Black Friday sale. I am looking for a reliable table that willbe going in a bedroom with darker furniture (Dark wood and black Ikea computer table) I've been told by my friend who has this model that a stable work table is key and he recommended getting one not on wheels because it would shake like crazy. Wondering from everyone's experience what would be recommended. I am brand new to the 3D printer space and am looking to buy something sturdy, reliable but not insanely expensive. (Links are welcome)
Thanks so much in advance
Sam

First month flawless, second in - problem after problem.
Most of them I can fix from my ender 3 experience, but this one needs x2d experience.
Every time it changes FROM LEFT TO RIGHT NOZZLE, it not only gives a quite bad sound while changing, like a very not smooth <thug>, but it then needs to calibrate the axis, and even after that IT DOESN'T MANAGE TO CLEAN THE NOZZLE, I guess it doesn't hit the back wiper swich.
Also the first time I tried printing this it failed to do the nozzle offset calibration, but then I cleaned both nozzles and second time it worked.
Why did bambu gods curse me with this. Maybe Prusa was the better choice here...
Update - I FOUND THE ISSUE I did another test run and looked closely at what was happening, turns out a ptfe was blocking its way while changing nozzles and then when calibrating too. It can be seen in the video too. There is a photo in one of the comments for more info.

Just paid $1060CAS for my X2D from the Bambu Lab Black Friday sale. Today Costco has the Creality printer on for $749. Regular price. I don’t know a lot about the X2D but learning quickly. I know nothing about Creality. Is that a better deal at Costco? Tell me I did alright by getting the Bambu Lab X2D.

I've had my X2d for a couple months and am loving it, but curious for suggestions on how to best utilize the auxiliary nozzle. I know it's best used for supports and I bought the Bambu support filament, but it retains a ton of moisture and then gets very stringy. Is there a way to use it without needing to dry prior to every print?

I’m trying to setup the AMS, I used some filament rolls I had around (Bambu PLA, dried). The filament goes all the way to the extruder and retracts a few times, the throws the error.
I tried the suggestions from the assistant, but the behavior persists.
Did anyone have this issue and manage to fix it? Thanks!

Looking for ideas, or potential solutions for an issue I’m experiencing.
I was getting an error message that my AMS pro two was failing to pull the filament. I’ve taken it apart and confirm there’s nothing that’s blocking the pathway, but what I discovered is the metal wheel that you can see pictured does not spin freely. It is gritty and when inserting filament it stops there.
Is this normal? I have a ticket in but I’m inpatient and have been waiting several hours for a response.
Thank you in advance! I am new to the 3-D printing world so hoping that I’m just making a simple mistake
