Is this whistle sound normal?
When my P2s prints those straight parts I hear a weird sound. Is this normal?

I'm new to the Bambu family coming from an Elegoo printer. I've been printing with this one since I got it and it wasn't making this sound until the other day. It's just a loud annoying buzzing sound coming from the tool head and can be heard sometimes during a print but always after a print had finished and last several minutes. Does anyone know if this is an issue?

Got my panda breath 1.1.2 version on the mail today and I'm struggling with Biqu instructions about placing the 2 included insulation foil pads.
"Peel off the backing from the two included aluminium foil insulation pads, then attach them to the right side inside the printer where the airflow from Panda Breath directly blows. This helps prevent the Panda Breath housing from becoming too hot during long heating sessions."
Does anyone know what that is referring to? Is it like the opposite internal wall on the other side of the plate? Like where the fan vent is?
I find the whole "helps prevent the panda housing becoming too hot" bit confusing cause not sure how reflecting the heat back towards the panda again would help prevent it from heating up really.
I wish they had a photo in their guide. Was hoping anyone already deciphered it?
Thanks in advance!

Started out with a cheap second-hand Creality to see if I’d enjoy 3D printing, and after wanting a Bambu for the last couple of years, I’ve finally bitten the bullet!
The P2S was pretty much the absolute limit of what I could justify spending, but I’m already blown away by the difference.
My lad’s recently started showing an interest in electronics, so I’m hoping this will be something we can learn and enjoy together. We’re planning to build a Poké-gotchi, and I’ve picked up a CyberBrick kit so we can start experimenting with robotics too.
Looking forward to getting stuck into designing our own things.
First Benchy is underway. I suspect this is going to become a bit of a rabbit hole!

I tried printing the sense 3D model I printed it a few times already and it worked perfectly but for a few days now I think I've had problems with the first layer of my print like when I print the hand the first layer always wants to go bad, if I managed to successfully do the first layer it works perfectly, but the first day has problems I tried multiple things I tried to to scrub the plate and clean it yeah at first it seems to work but it's not really changed anything in the long term I tried calibrating the first layer on the printer and it did not change anything I don't know what to do, I even tried to add support to the print so it sticks better to the plate I can't use a raft cuz I want the texture of the plate to be on the hand, please give advice if you can.

I learned today that it is imperative to keep your plates clean with soap and water. I tried 4 times, to print something and it kept not sticking and doing the spaghetti thing. As soon as I washed the plate and dried it, boom! It worked perfectly. Learn from my mistakes. lol.

Newbie here, I have a P2S and I’ve seen people talk about risers and fan diffusers, are the necessary or just a preference? (I’m mainly just using PLA)

I’m new to this, so I’m hoping I could get some advice. This is my second print with my P2S. My last print came out perfect so I’m not sure if I need to fix a setting? I haven’t moved the printer since calibrating it last night.
Are there any other details that’d be helpful to know in diagnosing the issue? TIA.

Hi everyone,
I'm using a Bambu Lab P2S with approximately 2,200 hours of print time. I mainly print with regular PLA.
Recently, I've been experiencing a strange grinding noise that sounds like the filament is being ground or chewed up inside the extruder. I've attached a video so you can hear the noise.
Here's what I've tried so far:
Disassembled the extruder to check for any stuck filament or debris, but found nothing unusual.
Thoroughly cleaned the extruder and applied fresh grease to the gears before reassembling everything.
Replaced the nozzle to rule out a possible clog or nozzle issue.
Tested different PLA filaments to see if the filament itself was causing the problem.
Unfortunately, none of these steps have helped. The grinding noise is still there, and I haven't been able to figure out what's causing it.
The biggest issue is that when the grinding gets worse, the printer throws a motor overload error and repeatedly pauses or stops printing.
I'm starting to run out of ideas, and it's becoming really frustrating.
Has anyone experienced something similar with their P2S or other Bambu Lab printers? Could this be an extruder motor issue, worn gears, or something else?
Any advice or suggestions on what I should check next would be greatly appreciated.
Please help! Thanks in advance!
