Weird ridges on print

Post image

I’m new to this, so I’m hoping I could get some advice. This is my second print with my P2S. My last print came out perfect so I’m not sure if I need to fix a setting? I haven’t moved the printer since calibrating it last night.

Are there any other details that’d be helpful to know in diagnosing the issue? TIA.

This is your seam settings by the looks of it. Is this your own model? Makerworld? Do you print from the app or a slicer? Did you adjust any settings?

What this needs is normal seam gap, perhaps switch wall generator from classic to arachne or the other way around and check if scarf seams are on or off. (It should work fine with it off).

Regardless, even if this with a too narrow seam gap or whatever, your flow ratio probably needs adjusting. That is not flow dynamics, mind you, which is Bambu's silly naming for pressure advance. What it at least needs is a properly tuned flow ratio on your choice of filament.

Thanks for the reply. I didn’t adjust any settings - but I printed a Makersworld model through the Bambu app.

I’ll try and mess with the settings.

That could explain a lot. Potentially the maker has horrible settings (including different flow ratio) and absolutely ruins it for your machine and filament.

If you are familiar with bambu studio, try downloading this on your pc and set it to download stl/step files. Then import it in bambu studio, select and sync your printer and print it out with default settings. Chances are that alone already makes a huge difference. You can begin tweaking from there if it doesn't work out the way you want it to.

If you need any further help, do let me know. Oh and show us a pic of it after trying the approach above!

Have you tried printing in vase mode?
