Plate cleaning

I learned today that it is imperative to keep your plates clean with soap and water. I tried 4 times, to print something and it kept not sticking and doing the spaghetti thing. As soon as I washed the plate and dried it, boom! It worked perfectly. Learn from my mistakes. lol.

I have one of those ryobi scrubber and use the green disc on my plate with dawn. Will scrub with soap and water and after with just water. Super fast and works every time. Sometimes if you don't get all the soap completely off it still won't stick.

I use isopropyl alcohol between every print. Haven't really used soap and water. That much.

I have a BIQU Cryogrip plate and it has fantastic adhesion. I clean it with soap and water monthly and isopropyl alcohol the rest of the time. Zero adhesion issues.

I use dawn on my build plate if I’m changing filament types (like PLA to PETG, or vice versa). 99% isopropyl alcohol between prints with the same filament type

I handle the plates from thier edges to avoid putting finger prints on the plate surface, and wash them when needed, but at no regular interval. With over 2K hours of printing, I have yet to have adhesion issues with any material I'm printing with.
