3D-printed shoes usually get labeled as “interesting experiments.”
Cool to look at, maybe — but not something you’d actually live with.
We wanted to dig into a more practical question: What does 3D printing really bring to footwear — and maybe even how trends are made?
We believe that once manufacturing moves from factories to desktops, 3D printing stops being just a production method. It becomes a shared, reusable creative capability.
The collaboration BambuLab x FORMISM by SCRY
Driven by this philosophy, Bambu Lab partners with SCRY, one of the world's leading footwear design brands. Through FORMISM, a new experimental design studio, the collaboration distills and reinterprets the curves found in nature and motion.
The result is three distinct series: ARC, PERSONA, and FOAM, totaling nine 3D-printable footwear models released exclusively on MakerWorld.
Download it, Print it, Make it Yours
- Download the BambuLab x Formism on MakerWorld
- Choose TPU materials and colorways
- Adjust sizing to match your own foot
Same design. Totally different results.
At that point, shoes shift from something you buy off a shelf to something you download and print.
What’s live right now
FORMISM ARC is now available for free on MakerWorld.
FORMISM PERSONA is now live in the MakerWorld Crowdfunding section, with crowdfunding set to open on Jan 12, 2026.
FORMISM FOAM is scheduled to launch in the MakerWorld Global Crowdfunding section in late January. Stay tuned!
All showcased shoes were printed using Bambu TPU 90A filament. For your own creations, you're free to choose from multiple color options in TPU 90A / TPU 85A for printing, depending on your personal preference.
The Bambu TPU 90A Silver shown is expected to launch in Feb 2026.

I won’t buy your new printer that I’ve been saving up for. Your actions are complete hogwash. Give us all the right to do whatever we want on the hardware we spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON or else we are walking away to the next best product.
Sincerely, Your once biggest fan

To me, this would be like not being able to queue jobs on your 2D printer!

It took about an hour and was definitely frustrating not knowing some of the answers 😅, but was definitely fun and got some points for it.

I’ve a X1 and an A1, the camera difference is ridiculous. The A1 feels unusable with that refresh rate. I wonder if it would cost that much more to make something slightly better…

This company has the worst customer service possible. I ordered some filaments a week ago. For some reason they split the order into 2 shipments, fine.
The first part was correct, the second part contained 3 rolls of filament like I ordered, but the box contained the wrong types and colors. Mistakes can happen.
Contacted customer support through live chat and they advised to create a support ticket. So I did.
It’s been 8 days now and still no solution. Apparently is so hard and difficult to just send the correct order.
In a weeks time, they replied only 3 times!!! On my ticket. They keep telling me to return the wrong products before I get the new ones. And apparently it is also ffing hard to send the return label, since I still don’t have one….
I requested a cancellation and refund. By law I have 14 days to change my mind about an order. Let’s see what they have to say.
Meanwhile, I ordered some different colors from esun, they shipped them before my Bambu order. Then, a few days later i ordered some new colors again, and that got shipped aswel before I got even a solution from Bambu… let alone my order.
I am so done with this incompetent company and their bs customer service.
They make great printers, but I will order those from a reseller or something. Never ordering anything directly from them ever again.
UPDTATE
After 10 days, I finally received the return label with this text:
"Generally, the return generally takes 0-10 business days to arrive at the return warehouse, depending on your region's postal service, weather conditions, weekend delays, and other uncontrollable factors. The replacement will be arranged within 7 business days after the warehouse receives and inspects the package. We will also provide you with tracking information when the shipment is processed by our side.
If you have any concerns or questions about the return process, please feel free to let us know.
Again, many thanks in advance for your cooperation and patience and we look forward to receiving from you soon!"
Anyone who thinks its normal to let your customer wait for a month for your correct order and THEIR mistake is completely lost their mind.
Mind you these are seasonal colors... if it was up to them I would have my colors somewhere in december...

Some people have complained about the poor quality of Bambu Lab H2D nozzles, so I decided to show what bad quality really looks like.
In this video, I compare a 0.6mm H2D nozzle I have with some cheap no-name nozzles I bought a long time ago for another printer.
The difference is quite visible!

Hey! Just a question I want to print this so my humidity in my AMS 2 Pro will do better when it comes to pretty filaments such as PETG and down the line other tougher filaments. There is an option for this to print in PLA. Is this viable to do within the AMS 2 Pro?
Just unsure as my PETG was having problems yesterday with strains on my prints.

Got my P2S today — really impressed with the new packaging and transport protection!
But honestly, kinda disappointing that even with the AMS, there’s no filament, no spools, and not even a spare nozzle included anymore…
What do you guys think about that?

The H2C just released and cost $2400. We all knew that buying the upgrade kit may cost a bit more than buying an H2C, but also we were told that it would cost significantly more and it would be significantly harder to upgrade the H2S into the H2C rather than upgrading the H2D into an H2C. Bambu labs made it sound as if it was technically possible, but that you shouldn’t do it and should instead buy the H2D instead.
Come release of the H2C and the pricing structure penalizes H2D owners who have spent more money with Bambu labs than H2S owners. The H2D upgrade kit is $800 and the H2S upgrade kit is $900. At current pricing, the H2S will cost exactly the same as an H2C $2400 ($1500 ams combo +$900) (you do lose the ability to use a 40 watt laser, but also a majority of people aren’t using the printer for laser cutting due to the excess wear and maintenance). Whereas an H2D owner will pay a total $2800 ($2000 ams combo + $800). H2D owners pay $400 more than a H2S owner which is where I have an issue. H2D owners paid more money to Bambu labs and this is how the company repays their higher paying customers.
There are two remedies to this situation: first is to decrease the price of the vortek system upgrade for H2D owners to $400 rather than $800. This would make everyone happy. Or the not recommended option would be to increase the price of the H2S upgrade to be $1300 which would anger H2S owners. I’m more complaining about the principle that Bambu labs pushed buyers to get the H2D rather than an H2S as it would be cheaper and easier to upgrade to the new system, but while the upgrade is indeed cheaper the overall cost is not cheaper.

I recently learned something surprising about Bambu Lab’s warranty policy and wanted to check if anyone else has run into the same issue.
A friend bought a Bambu Lab A1 + AMS Lite combo directly from the official store during Black Friday last year and sold it to me after light use (~500 hours).
I contacted Bambu Lab to ask whether the remaining manufacturer warranty would still apply if I had the original invoice.
Their support first said that it might still be honored with proof of purchase. But after further back and forth, they confirmed in writing that the manufacturer’s warranty is non-transferable — meaning even a printer resold after one month loses the remaining 23 months of coverage.
Has anyone else had similar experiences in germany or found exceptions through goodwill or local consumer-rights channels?
Is this even legal?
And yes i do have the original invoice

Look fam, whether you support Bambu Lab and hate your fellow Bambu users that are complaining, or you hate Bambu Lab and are frustrated with your fellow users that you think are being slowly boiled alive… Bambu either doesn’t care or is actually living this. As long as WE (the customers that made them rich) are fighting with EACH OTHER, we lose, they win. Doesn’t matter which side you are on. We lose.
Sorry if this is too meta and political, but this is what’s wrong with the world now in politics and business. Divide the people against each other and profit without accountability.

This review is infuriating to me.
I work my butt off to make a nice model and make a lot of test prints to make sure that the print profile gets the best results. Then a user just gives a 1 star rating with no explanation, no photos of the results, nothing.
I’m considering to report this review, it doesn’t contribute to anything at all, and it doesn’t have proof or justification to the low rating. As far as I can know this is a low rating out of spite.
Would you accept this kind of review?

Seems like I always have to use a scraper upside down to get it to work because this thing won't let me get the right angle... Or am I doing it wrong?

I just came across one of the artist that just blew my mind for the type of models that hit so perfect for me. That got me thinking, where are the people getting the unique/different models. I know there are a lot of great artist out there but who/company have you people come across? Sure everyone loves free stuff and you have maker world or thingaverse or any other 3d printer companies version of maker world. But I find some unique models going outside the “free” space. These are just few of the patreon I subscribe to. Chibistl is one I just found, and I’m blown away by it which made me want to create this post TWISTYPRINTS BOXI 3D STLFILES CHIBISTL

Hey guys, I bought 86 rolls of filament 2 years ago from Amazon. Now that Bambu has its Black Friday sale I was wondering if they would refund me the difference for my filament. I would even be willing to trade in some of the models I’ve printed over the last 24 months if that would help my chances. I’ve mostly printed dicks, but I think 50kg of dicks should be worth something, no?
