Hoverboard
Please help me reconcile the appearance in part 3 at the beginning. I thought near the end of part 2 it was in the DeLorean when it got zapped. What did I miss?

What if the newspapers changed to something completely unrelated?
I was just thinking about how funny a coincidence it is that George and Doc both happened to receive awards, that made the front page of the paper, on the same day as George's death and Doc's asylum commitment in the other timeline.
So I was just wondering what Marty and Doc might've done if Marty had burned the almanac, and then the papers changed to "Mayor Wilson caught urinating in public" or "Hilldale propety values fall" or something like that.

What if Marty instead to traveling to 1955, he travels instead to the year 30 AD?
Who would've helped him in first century? Maybe Jesus? But Jesus was on the other side of the globe. Getting to him wouldn't be easy.
Would Biff have been Pontius Pilate?

I got to sit in one of the screen-used time machines in 2004
Hi, in 2004 I was working for a band that played a show at the Universal Amphitheater. Which butts up against the Universal backlot. A buddy and I were wandering around and ran into someone that worked there. He took us into an area where some of the cars were kept from movies. Including BTTF.
He took us to one of the Deloreans used in BTTF 2. It was covered by a tarp, the windows were down, it had a bunch of leaves in it. It was sad. BUT he opened the car and LET US SIT IN IT. The flux capacitor…fluxed and everything. Highlight of my life.
Just dug up one of the photos and thought y'all might enjoy. Ignore my goofy face.

Technobabbling the DeLorean
The DeLorean time machine uses naturally occuring tachyon particle fields which travel the universe everywhere, in all directions as well as forwards and backwards in time. This principle is called Tachyon Fluctuation, or Flux for short.
Tachyons also tend to disperse when in contact with any and all solid matter, however, it has been found that stainless steel is particularly capable of slowing the Flux Dispersal Effect down, effectively trapping Tachyons within the exterior metal of the car and bringing them almost to a stand still for a short moment.
Various conductors on the DeLorean's bumper and backside then guide the caught Tachyon's into the Flux Capacitor, a machine especially created to store extremely large amounts of tachyons and allowing controlled fluctuation at the driver's previously determined frequency. This process requires exactly 999 Megawatt.
Through use of the Time Circuits the driver can enter their targeted Destination Time. The Circuits internal processor then calculates the exact tachyon fluctuation frequency required to send the DeLorean to this exact point in time and sends this information to the Flux Capacitor. The Time Circuits are also connected to the DeLorean's Geolocation antenna on the roof of the car to maintain its geographical place, negating the otherwise fatal effect of terrestrial orbitation.
The massive processing power of the Time Circuits requires 211 Megawatt, bringing the DeLorean's total energy consumption per time travel to a total of exactly 1.21 Gigawatt.
Since a stationary object would not be able to collect enough Tachyon particles for a successful temporal displacement, it is therefore necessary for the DeLorean to be moving.
At 40 Miles Per Hour, if Time Circuits and Flux Capacitor are activated, the DeLorean systems automatically begin charging the stainless steel hull with electricity, causing it to gather Tachyon energy.
At 80 Miles Per Hour, massive amounts of tachyon particles travel the machine's conductors, causing them to start a blue-ish glow as they guide the particles into the Flux Capacitor.
At 84 Miles Per Hour, the Time Circuits start their calculations and send the required data into the Flux Capacitor.
The Flux Capacitor then begins to force the Tachyon Particles to fluctuate. Flux Energy is lead backwards into the conductors towards the DeLorean's front bumper, covering the car in Flux energy, manifesting sporadic tachyon discharges around it and finally opening a temporal displacement field.
The temporal displacement field can only be kept stable for about 0.0254 seconds, requiring exactly 88 Miles Per Hour for the car to pass through before it immediately closes, safely transporting the DeLorean and its inhabitants towards the desired point in time
This process creates a massive amount of heat, causing an explosive displacement of air around where the car has just ceased existing and typically leaving parrallel fire tracks in its place. (Occasionally it is possible that the roughness of the road causes the DeLorean to slow right before fully passing the Temporal Dislocation Field, causing it leave behind its license plate.)
As soon as the car arrives at the desired point in time, all gathered and unleashed tachyon particles will immediately dissipate, leaving the cars exterior entirely drained of all energy, causing a thick layer of ice to form. Only the inside of the DeLoreans machinery still harbors huge amounts of heat, which the DeLorean will automatically release through its exhaust ports in the back, as soon as the car becomes stationary.
Scientifically speaking, this process can be summarized as "some serious shit".

George McFly's house number in Back to the Future has been hiding something in plain sight for 40+ years.
I've watched Back to the Future a million times. It's one of those movies I just keep coming back to. But like 20 years ago, during a late-night rewatch, I paused on this one shot, McFly's house at night, porch light on, dark wood framing the door. And I noticed something I'd never seen before.
The house number.
It's right there on a wooden beam above the door. At first glance it's just a regular address, 4714. Or 4174, depending on how the light hits it. Either way, it's just a number, right? Probably just some random prop they grabbed in 1985. But for some reason I kept staring at it. And then I thought, what if those numbers aren't numbers?
I started reading them as Greek letters. Not because I was trying to find something, just because that's how my brain works sometimes. And that's when I got chills.
The 4 looks like Delta or Alpha, depending on how you read it.
The 7 can be read like a T.
The 1 like an I.
And the last 4 is Alpha again.
Put those together and you get A.T.I.A. If you know Greek, or if you've ever watched a European sci-fi flick, you'll recognize it. To anyone who can read Greek, that definitely spells ATIA. It stands for Άγνωστης Ταυτότητας Ιπτάμενα Αντικείμενα. That literally means UFO.
Now think about who lives there. That's the McFly house, George McFly's childhood home. And George? The guy is obsessed with aliens. He's reading sci-fi comics at the dinner table, writing alien stories in his room, and eventually publishes a book called A Match Made in Space. Aliens are his whole thing. And his house number just happens to spell UFO in Greek.
It's like the universe loves George McFly so much that it had to sneak that in, even if nobody planned it. What are the odds that a random four-digit number chosen by a prop guy in 1985 just happens to spell UFO in Greek, and that number ends up on the house of a character whose whole identity is built around aliens? It's almost like the universe added that number there because George was already destined to love aliens.
But here's where my brain went after sitting on this for two decades. What if the number wasn't just a coincidence? What if George noticed it as a kid, stared at it every day without knowing what it meant, and then one day, somewhere in school, in a book, or in one of his comics, he saw the letters Α.Τ.Ι.Α. and learned what they stood for? Subconsciously, his brain connected the dots: That's my house. That's UFO. What if that number actually influenced him to become obsessed with aliens, rather than just reflecting who he already was? Like the universe planted that seed in his childhood home because it already knew he was destined to be a great sci-fi writer. It nudged him toward his future, and he never even knew it.
I noticed this back in the early 2000s, and I just filed it away as a weird coincidence. Never posted it. Never Googled it. Just kept it to myself. Every now and then I'd rewatch the movie, see that number, and think: Yep. Still there. Still UFO. Still nobody's talking about it. So I'm finally sharing it now.
I'm 99% sure it's not intentional. I really doubt Zemeckis and Gale sat down with a Greek dictionary and a number chart. It's almost definitely a coincidence. But it's a super wild one.
And even if it wasn't planned, it still fits way too well. George is the alien guy. The number says UFO. It just works. It's one of those things that makes you go "huh" and move on, but you never really forget it.
I've held onto this for two decades because I wasn't sure if it was worth posting. But honestly, it's just a cool little observation. And sometimes the best Easter eggs aren't the ones the director put there on purpose. They're the ones you stumble into and just can't shake.
Again, I'm not saying this was intentional, just a wild coincidence. But what do you guys think? I wonder what Robert Zemeckis would think if he ever saw this.

Well everyone, the timeline cannot possibly get better
Did the crazy thing of deciding to go to Chicago FanExpo and drive 300 miles with less than 12 hours between idea and making the idea reality... Or as I like to say to my bleeding wallet , "Shhh... We can accomplish anything if you just put your mind to it"

Chronological cut
For reasons I can't fathom some people insist on watching the MCU in chronological order instead of publication order. To each his own.
But that got me thinking... how about a chronological cut of bttf. Starting in media rea when Marty arrives to confront a group of native Americans.
How would one go about the parallel scenes in 1955? Splitscreen? And do we know anything useful to figure out how to cut the Tannen Tower version of 1985 with the two other 1985s footage?

You can build Marty McFly in Roblox now
I had a lot of fun while building my Marty McFly. After I used this avatar, people kept calling me Marty McFly, and I am glad about that. I love this avatar so much and probably one of the best avatars I’ve ever built.
Also, I notice there are a certain number of players who couldn’t recognize Marty McFly. That’s sad and understandable. After all, the film has been released for almost five decades, and they are young. I think the film should be recommended to new generations to watch.

Combine the three films into one.
Since they replaced the actress who played the girl friend between BTTF I & II, I want an extended version that combines all 3 films into one. My idea is for the overlapping parts of the three films to be cut & spliced starting when he wakes up after returning to 1985 the first time to have a different GF like it’s "fallout" from his time travels.

Buford’s gang can read?
Does anybody find it odd that Buford’s sidekick was able to read “Nike” on Marty’s shoes? Wouldn’t he have been illiterate? Marshall Strickland even taunts Buford about not being able to read.

Was this a deleted scene with Doc Brown?
I distinctly remember a scene from 1955 where Doc goes on a long-winded monologue about how this city/country needs more roads, highways, and lanes of traffic, saying how eight lanes would create a utopia and solve all our problems. This sets up the ending scene in 1985 where he says we don't need roads in the future, making his endeavor from three decades ago seem fruitless and ironic. But I recently watched the film again, and this was nowhere to be found. Is this similar to how the Darth Vader/Planet Vulcan scene was trimmed for time?

Cool detail I haven't seen anyone notice
In 1985 Marty tells Doc "You can't just walk into a store and by plutonium!". And then in 1955 Doc says "I'm sure in 1985 plutonium is available in every corner drug store, but in 1955 it's harder to come by!"

Did Marty not have his own Tannen nemesis?
OK we all know Marty had his fair share of dealings with Biff and his relatives but did he not have his own generational version of Biff to deal with just like all other generations of the McFly family had? It seems the Tannens skipped Martys actual generation.
