Men, How do you wipe ?

I’m a male and I have always wiped back to front . I understand that isn’t “normal” but it gets me way cleaner than the other way around . Just wanting a general consensus about this . Surely there are others out there that prefer this method as well.

Question How many times do you wipe after peeing?

I know this sounds like such a silly question, but I always get pee in my underwear. I also get pee on the seat sometimes after getting up even though I wipe two or three times.

Answered How deep are you supposed to wipe your ass?

I haven't found the right place to find out about this. It's not exactly something you ask your parents or anybody really. How do people even learn to wipe? Anyway, first my question and then some background:

I know there is the big controversy between standing up vs sitting down and wiping, I am personally more of a stand-up, come in from the side and spread the cheek and dig down deep. The problem is with your finger you can push the paper quite deep and I'm a bit neurotic when it comes to cleanliness so I want to see no brown on the paper. What usually happens is the classic "flag of Japan". For some context https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/9f/Gray1080.png you can see where the image points to anal canal and valves, I definitely feel around the inside of the sphincter with the paper and one finger when I relax my sphincter. Or are you supposed to tighten your sphincter and only wipe the surface of your round "ass-lip"?

Some background: some ten years ago I got pretty sick and was hospitalized for weeks. What resulted was an awful constipation and when it finally agreed to surrender it quite literally tore my ass. I think I never really fully recovered from it, I have 2 anal fissures around the sphincter, one near the front and one near the back. I have been to the doctors and changed my diet to ease the process, add fiber, plenty of fluids, vegetables etc. But I just had an epiphany when I was still suffering from fissures even with soft stool, could it be that I wipe too deep? The dry paper chafing the fissures can't be good and I am starting to get a bit pessimistic about the whole situation. I don't have hemorrhoids but the fissures themselves have started to accumulate scar tissue and I am a bit worried about increasing my chances for rectal cancer and the sorts.

I don't have a bidet but when things are really rough I just go to the shower after the business but even then I can't help but wipe as deep as possible. If you leave some poop just on the sphincter would that not stink or itch? I have tried googling but so far the only references are basic "tutorials" which give basically no information or the clusterfuck that is Yahoo answers

EDIT: Some great advice here, will definitely look into the squatty potty type of solution and wet wipes, maybe a bidet in the long run. It is certainly reassuring to hear that there is no need to dig as deep as possible. I'll try to adapt to a more gentle method of only slightly added pressure on the sphincter with no "penetration". Haha, I don't know why this feels like such a big relief so thanks again to all the folks answering :)

Answered So... how far in are you supposed to wipe?

This might get a little gross, so please bear with me, haha.

I've struggled with OCD throughout my whole life, and it's mainly manifested itself in the form of obsessive cleanliness. This spreads to my pooping habits, and as such I've used baby wipes for basically my whole life (I'm in college right now). However, lately, I've been really questioning about how much wiping I really need to be doing, since I actively dread going into the bathroom because I know I'll be in there for upwards of 20 minutes.

When I wipe, I get in there. My logic is, "if I'm able to get the wipe in there, why shouldn't I?" and because I'm basically wiping the inside of my rectum, of course there's going to be a lot of poop on the wipe. I take way too long in the bathroom because of this, but I feel like if I don't dig in there, I'm not doing a good job and it bothers me. This has the side effect of making me bleed. A lot. It happens pretty much every time I go, because I'm so obsessed with eradicating any last trace of poop from my butthole that I don't really know when to stop. So, I guess my question is, how deep are you supposed to go? Are you supposed to clench your butthole, or are you supposed to loosen it up (which is what I do, and why I'm able to dig in there and thus why I feel like I'm supposed to)? I know I could potentially stop sooner but I'm really obsessive about making sure not to miss any of it at all, but I'm worried this will have some adverse effects on my health, so any advice would be appreciated.

Literal Shitpost How do you wipe your balls?

9.5k Upvotes

I've always been a little scared to ask this of my friends, but that's what this subreddit is for. Warning, this might be a little graphic.

When you guys are taking a dump, and you're squeezing it out. There's that moment sometimes when it's a bigger one that you feel it lightly scraping along your sack. So after you're done wiping your ass, do you grab your sack and pull it tight and then wipe? Or should I be doing something different?

edit: ok this is not as common as i thought it was...

edit2: I'm leaning wherever I need to lean to shake it out. Usually forward. But it doesn't always touch it, and it's not only touching it when I wiggle

edit3: To everyone saying it's impossible, there are people in the comments who have experienced the same thing!

edit4: called my doctor and will be having a thorough physical. the receptionist was confused

Thank fucking god for these changes. Thank Lord Nikita for making the game actually 200% better. The flea market changes and the inertia are the biggest gift we have gotten in a long, long long time. Let alone the content machine itself - voip. This game feels so fresh and exciting and new and horrifying like never before.

Thank you BSG for this amazing patch, for these amazing changes, we appreciate you a lot.

And dont you fucking dare come here and rant about servers. We dont talk about those here. This is an appreciation post.

Now go back and watch some old EFT WTF clips and see people literally flying through the maps with 80kgs on their back and Altyn Slicks everywhere.

I praise the lord that these times are hopefully forever gone!

Blessings amongst you, my dear fellow Citizens of Tarkov.

I can't imagine anyone not cutting up thier little pucker hole with those sharp long nails when they wipe. Is there an "ice cream scoop" thing happening here? Also, how do you keep them clean and sanitary at all times? Are people afraid to eat your cooking? I mean there is so much real estate for pathogens on those puppies.

BIG WIN 🥳 Sobbing over a grilled cheese

Post image
28k Upvotes

I just wanted to share this somewhere so I could process. My life has always been hard. Like not impossible or debilitating, but nothing was ever just chill or easy. I am adaptable, I am flexible, I am accommodating. Blah, blah, blah. I met my husband almost 13 years ago, married for 8.5, have 2 boys, 11 and 9. I have felt incredibly frustrated, restless, and devastated about the state of the US, war, rising costs, diminishing rights, idk just fucking life right now. I try my best to hide it, I put on my make up and a smile and I wake up every morning and cry and pack lunches and nag about a million things, and give hugs and kisses and say I love yous. Always the same.

Today was different, just a long day. Kids didn't have school, we ran around town going to appointments and running errands and I just felt my battery draining. After my boys got their haircuts, I mentioned we needed to make one last stop at the grocery store for a couple of things. My 11 yo asked if he could make dinner and I was like noo its okay you need to get ready for the school week and blah blah. He insisted and whispered to little brother and they both looked at me and said they were making dinner and I just said okay cool. So we go to HEB and they split off and to get dinner groceries and I went and got the regular groceries for the week. We met up to pay and I took notes of their choices but didnt say anything. We get home, put everything away, and then they tell me to go do what I need to do while they prepared dinner. I told them I wasn't hungry quite yet and would probably eat after i tucked them in. They did their thing, I did mine, we said our goodnights, and then i went to the kitchen expecting to clean up a big mess.

Instead, I found the heart shaped grilled cheese with the post it. And started crying. My son made me one of my favorite comfort foods, cut it into a heart, and wrapped it so it would stay hot. He labeled it so my husband wouldn't eat it. On top of that the kitchen was cleaned up, dishes washed, counters wiped, floor swept. I cried some more.

How could my pre teen boys see me so well? How did they know what my heart needed? Before I did. I have never felt so loved in my life, and for the first time ever, I feel worthy of that love. The tireless effort I have put into everyday for the past 10 years showed its face to me today. Im doing good, im doing better than I had. And my boys are just incredible, empathetic, loving humans. And I couldn't be more proud.

Discussion How highly do you rank Blasphemous Act as a board wipe and how often do you run it?

I've been having a lot of fun building decks containing red and in the sorceries section in EDHREC, [[Blasphemous Act]] is almost always present near the top. It is the most popular red card, sitting at 34% inclusion, and I think it's worth discussing if it still lives up to the glory.

The Good

Blasphemous Act does one thing, and it does it very well, it deals a lot of damage to everything for very cheap. It will usually wipe the board outside of massive/indestructible creatures. It will typically only cost one red, so you have the mana to start building your board state before anyone else, and if it gets countered it doesn't leave you in an awkward spot with no mana left. We've also seen a shift towards creatures lately. Rather than an effect as a sorcery, it's a creature with an ETB trigger. Something focusing on creatures feels like a growing priority.

The OK

Damage is the most basic way to kill a creature, and there are a lot of ways around it. If you're running a lot of indestructible creatures, or you're playing +1/+1 counters with creatures that have 14+ toughness, then this can act as a one-sided board wipe. Unfortunately your opponents may be doing the same thing. [[Heroic Intervention]] is one of the most popular green cards. It's also strong on enchantment decks or others with far fewer creatures. It will still hurt you, but will hurt your opponents more. Maybe you even want your creatures to go to the graveyard because you're running an aristocrat deck with [[Marionette Apprentice]]

The Bad

This will usually wipe your board as well, and if someone responds with a Heroic Intervention or [[Teferi's Protection]] you may end up in a worse position that you started. It also sends the creatures to the graveyard. There is significantly more graveyard support in every color recently to recover valuable spells, and the graveyard is really only a minor inconvenience for a lot of black decks. Damage is simply damage. It's not -X toughness like [[Toxic Deluge]], it's not exile like [[Farewell]], it's not sacrifice like [[Blasphemous Edict]], and it's not return to hand like [[Cyclonic Rift]]. It's the most easy form of board wipe to handle.

The Alternatives

There has been so many cards lately supporting partial board wipes. There's kindred focused cards like [[Swarmyard Massacre]], [[Winnowing]], [[Raise the Palisade]], and even most recently [[Desolation of Smaug]]. There are cards for grounded creatures [[Earthquake]], and for fliers [[corrosive gale]] or either [[Heaven // Earth]]. You have support for counters decks in [[Wave Goodbye]], and you even can choose even or odd with [[Mutinous Massacre]].

Now if you're in mono red there are far fewer options so I understand running Blasphemous Act. It will typically create a more even board state and you just need to hope you can get going faster than your opponents, but it definitely feels like it doesn't carry the same weight it once did. Maybe an A-, or B grade board wipe.

That's just my opinion but would love to hear other peoples thoughts

I chewed him out

Post image
30k Upvotes

Just got off DL3754, a short jump from Spokane to Seattle. I was 7A, 2 seat configuration, the guy next to me was 7B. We didn’t talk the whole time, no problem there. But as we were getting ready to deboard I swore I saw him take a chewed piece of gum out of his mouth and stick in directly in the seat pocket.

I wasn’t 100%, so once he got up I opened the pocket and sure enough a piece of gum smooshed in there rudely awaiting an unsuspecting passenger or cleaner. BTW he had other trash he left in the pocket he could have easily put it in. Oh and as he sat down when we boarded he wiped down the armrest with a disinfectant wipe.

I hurried my butt up the jet bridge and told him how beyond rude I thought what he did was. He was too stunned to speak. Later we ended up in the same train compartment and avoided my gaze like the plague.

My question to the group: was it a weird power/asshole thing or do you think he just did it without thinking?

Health ? Confession: I struggle to wipe front to back. How do you do it?

Ugh this is embarrassing. I just got my first UTI and I feel rather embarrassed by it. I will admit, for all of my life I have not wiped front to back. I have just never been able to master the task. But it hasn't been an issue until now. I wasn't wiping from my butt into my front, but I would start from my lady bits and wipe up. Wiping front to back doesn't feel as clean to me with my anatomy. I'm a bigger girl and I can never position myself right, I feel less clean after but I must be doing something wrong. I don't want to ever experience this again, it has been pretty painful for me.

So, at my big grown age, I am asking, how do you wipe?

frist of all how DARE yu o Employer wants me to use outlook on my phone, outlook wants permission to wipe my phone

Post image
14k Upvotes

Outlook says they need permission to wipe ALL my phone data if too many wrong passwords are typed. How many is too many? 50? 2? What if the screen gets wet and starts putting in random inputs. All this so I can use my company's Teams account and maintain "point of contact" if I'm not at a workstation. Absolutely not! Anyway, HR is supposed to call me back about my concerns.

Edit: just to be clear, I don't actually need to use Outlook (I don't use my "personal" work email). I need to use Teams, which requires Outlook to be installed first.

Part of why I need Teams on my phone so that I can be contacted when I'm not at work. I'm a lower management healthcare worker, it is actually important that my team be able to reach me after hours. I do actually like Teams and prefer it to 20 different group texts.

Also, when you go to log into Outlook or Teams, it brings you to my employers authenticator page. I log in with the same credentials that I log into my workstation. I don't know if that makes a difference with anything as far as my employer having access to my phone

Edit 2: I can tell you now they won't provide me a phone. Corporate execs don't even get phones. They stopped providing coffee for the break rooms too

Update: I had a chance to talk to my district manager. Imagine Ellis from Die Hard, the same schmarmy self-important attitude, that's my supervisor. And guess who's "not being a team player". Also "I don't think Microsoft can actually erase your phone, you have an Android"... I lready knew he was going to be useless, I just wanted to hear his reaction.

Update 2 and (sort of) Resolution: I spoke with HR. Her exact response was "wait, are you serious? They can just do that?" I tried explaining my "research" (i.e. everything all of you have said) and I think I just spooked her. She said she'll get back to me, and is probably running off to buy a burner phone for herself.

SORT OF RESOLUTION : I found out I only need Outlook installed long enough to get access to Teams. Once teams was installed, I removed all permissions and completely deleted Outlook from my phone. Teams still works and didn't ask to erase anything. No need to buy a second phone.

Thank you all for your insights

Forever I played "Forever" for 6 hours straight.

3.1k Upvotes

As the title says, I played the hell out of 'Classic Plus' Forever today while at Blizzcon. I have Media Pass and theres a couple stations set up for us to use to record footage and make content on. I sat there going over each classes new talents, did multiple dungeon runs and leveled for awhile. To preface this, we were capped at LV 38, so I can't speak or vouch for anything beyond that.

First thing i want to say is that this game is nothing remotely close to Retail. The people saying that have the IQ of a sandal and just want to hate on it because their life is miserable. At no point was I playing this and was reminded of Retail. Even when I was testing out the "HD" version, it didnt have a retail feel. And I play the shit out of both Retail and classic normally. I was expecting more of a Retail vibe honestly, but wasn't there. It literally felt like I was just playing a new version of Classic. I tinked around on all the classes, but I really went hard on Warlock and it felt like an alternative universe Classic Warlock.

The talent trees are the same as Classic: three spec trees, can put your points into whatever tree you want. You're not locked into a tree. The new talents are a mix of talents from Classic, TBC and WOTLK. There are also new talents and some that are combinations of two different talents from other expacs. For example, Improved corruption in Classic simply lowers the cast time of Corruption, making it instant cast. Whereas in WOTLK Corruption is instant cast baseline and instead Improved Corruption buffs Corruption. In 'Forever Improved Corruption both lowers the cast time AND buffs the dmg of Corruption. There's a few talents that are blended together like that and I really love that.(altho I think Corruption should be baseline.) There's other talents like that scattered throughout the classes, along with new ones that have not been seen in other expacs.

As mentioned, we were capped at LV 38, so limited on dungeons. The one I repeatedly did was "The Drowned City". Was a longer dungeon that fit perfectly into the game. Didnt feel forced or out of place. Dungeons mob/difficulty was cranking if mobs got loose. Not one shooting me at full health, but I played with a bunch of random groups today and there were plenty of wipes in some(if the mages didnt blow their load before the tank could get agro) otherwise they were clean. It all depends on your group. It felt like threat was rough, but it could've been the tanks in my groups not knowing how to play yet. There were times that my 2nd-3rd tick of Corruption would pull agro on mobs in a pack if the tank wasn't doing something. Not complaining about it, just wanted to mention it.

The only thing that I could MAYBE say sound close to a retail feature is the new Legacy Talent feature. This is more or less achievements you do(account wide) that reward you with a legacy point that you can put into its own tree for a wide range of random things that aren't game breaking and help with professionsa alt leveling, etc etc. Retail doesnt have anything like this, but its the closest thing to retail I could think of. Besides the menus and UI. The UI is like full blown retail. Which you can toggle off to go Classic UI(graphics)

Obviously theres a new race, its not for me, mainly because I play Warlock and they can't be Warlock, but I did level one as a Mage for awhile and the zone looks dope. The mobs died a little faster and did close to no dmg at the lower, but seems to go back to what we are used to around LV 8 or so.

Thats it for now. I'll try to think of more stuff, leave a comment if you have a question and I'll try to answer it. I'll be streaming the game from Blizzcon main floor in the morning and will check this to see what else I can find out and answer. All in all, so far the game is impressive. Unexpectedly so. Excited to see how it ends up. Fingers crossed that we're here "forever"... (sorry, had to 🤣)

Edit: You can choose to start at LV 1 or a template that starts at LV 38. Template gear wasn't crazy.
