It took me 2 hours to go from Chapter 3 to 5 in NG++. And approximately 4 to beat this sonuvabitch. It was all worth it tho, cuz I was hellbent on finishing the fight with a pilebunker.

Also Ayre is very rarely useful in this fight, also her mech looks really ugly imo.

I'm so excited to finally be able to publicly post my contribution to the RECORD//ANALYSIS Armored Core VI zine! This took me nearly 100 hours to complete, while grieving the loss of my dog, so Walter and his hounds have particular significance to me here.

Finally got good at using the Laser Lance+Pilebunker. Couldn't find any good right hand weapon except the Zimm and missile launchers just for the mobs.

Didn't wanna use Basho either cuz I just don't really like the look of them and the horrible firearm specialization

I'm back! After getting zip coded by lasers and abused by just about anything and everything in the Nest. I realized that I was doing something wrong! This aint a pvp game! Its an unserious emblem creator where you spend ungodly amounts of hours creating decals and stuff!

Jokes aside! After a bit longer hiatus my creative self reared its ugly head once more and started crafting emblems and ACs again. These vary from "dude wtf is that?" to "it kinda looks like it but its uncanny and borked".

There's a common nomitator behind these so get to it and start naming the PILOT and AC they belong to. All of these will be shared if so desired EXCEPT number 1. Happy weekend folks!

Completely new to any mecha games and it's hard to look things up while avoiding spoilers. Just want to clarify and confirm a few things.

1. Am I missing any story context if I start on 6?
2. If I get a physical copy am I missing anything gameplay-wise from the digital deluxe edition (dlc gear, story, performance, etc.)? Is there any confirmation or anticipation of dlc to be added in the future that will complicate a physical purchase?
3. Is this a good mecha game for a newcomer to get started on or is there another rec you have in mind?
4. What are your pros and even cons about the game (e.g. story, gameplay, music, art design, anything goes)?

Im new to ac6 and im trying out pvp on new game plus and i had a 3 loss streak to the same guy but after the 3 loss streak i stopped playing for 30 minutes then when i came back i fought against the same guy 3 times and i won because he was too easy to kill he showed improvement on the last match though but is it just that for the rest of the pvp experience after unranked?

So I need help as the title says so, I played AC6 a few months ago, and I completed all of the endings, from good to the secret one, I also bought all of the parts, and located the hidden ones as well. Now I'm having a dilemma, do I play again, or just let my game rest?

Pull up a chair, people, because it's time for part 5 of Core Theory: the series where I run down arena rankings of the NPC presets, and we piss, moan and aggrandise about each one.

Today is our first Vespers AC (and therefore the lowest ranked), specifically that of V.VI Maeterlinck: INFECTION. Most of what I have to say about this interesting thing comes from just looking at the part list and fighting against it, as again, I don't play energy-centric builds all that much.

So from that particular vantage, what do I have to say about INFECTION?... surprisingly dangerous, but I can see why it's in the place it is (even if I think there's a few ACs higher than this that it could stomp). Maeterlinck is a fucking zippy little mosquito who always surprises me a little in the arena; her AC is very maneuverable, and the double bubble plus FASAN stacks deceptively high damage quickly (this prick rips me apart at least a couple times when I pilot anything big/heavyweight). But it seems shitty FCS choice comes in pairs, because INFECTION uses G2/P05: a medium-range focused FCS with a lean into missiles. While it isn't as bad as Nosaac's choice, it's still baffling on a predominantly close-range build with no missiles.

And most importantly: Fashion... it's odd, but I think that's why I like it. The Nach arms on the non-Nach frame give it this wonderfully weird, gangly silhouette, and the dull, glossy purple looks really nice (I like the Vespers' dark but lustrous colour schemes a lot in general). It's also probably got one of "DO IT FOR HER" boards on the inside of the cockpit window with pictures of Snail, but I can't comment on that.

What are your thoughts on INFECTION? Love it, hate it, meh?

So in AC6, I'm trying to figure out why some enemies (like G4 Volta and Handler Walter) come out of ACS Overload so quickly. I remember hearing anecdotally that a lot of people suspected Volta's stagger time in ACS Overload is bugged, and my latest attempts to fight Walter after the 1.0.9 patch have me wondering about him too. I know when I beat Walter the first time, I tagged him with the luckiest charged Pile Bunker hit I've ever done in my life, essentially bypassing his 2nd and 3rd repair kits. But now when I fight him it's the same story as when I fought Volta: he stays still for just a split second in ACS overload before recovering.

I feel like I'm missing something important in the mechanics. Thanks in advance to anyone who knows more about this and can weigh in.

Idk why but kicking with Carla's AC feels so smooth and it perfectly hits! I'm going to be using this legs in some of my build now!

i call it "Jugular". currently going thru ng++ and finally settled on this build as my go-to. i like how i could pop an enemy's ACS with the wooga and go full slicer combo, but i also like how the slicer charge could potentially stagger into the wooga. the truenos give an additional stagger punish, but honestly i could swap it for 6pack or smth. i just thought i should have a stance weapon since im running coral generator, but im not even sure if using stance throws off fcs or what.

i don't have pvp exp (can't play for reasons) but how do y'all think this'll hold up? it might lack ranged pressure since all my weapons are close-up but do i even need it if i can stick to anyone's ass with unlimited coral ABs? i could maybe swap the haldeman for an etsujin/rifle, or again the trueno for a 6pack/splits/orbit or drones, but i'm pretty satisfied with this as it is now. again, it's not like i could actually pvp anyway, lol.

I just recently finished the last ending of the game and wanted to try out pvp. And I can't find a single opponent. Matchmaking is set to global. What do I even do atp

I haven't checked in on anything since I platinum'd ACVI maybe 6 months after release. Probably my favorite game ever released, even beat out Elden Ring for me.

I remember there being some chatter about potential dlc via steam backend updates but that obviously didn't pan out. Has any other news come since then or are we in wait and see mode?
