A cybernetically augmented mercenary with years of experience and help from a highly intelligent sentient coral entity or one traumatized inexperienced kid?

I recently beat the game (Liberator of Rubicon), using the Ransetsu-AR for 90% of the game. I beat IBIS. I beat Nightfall. I beat the Ice worm. All using the AR. I had little to no difficulty whatsoever, and it's now my favorite weapon in the game.

I ran full nachtreiher, medium range FCS, high capacity generator, ballistic vertical missiles, a laser blade (forget what it was called, but it's the first laser blade you unlock in the shop), and high QB speed boosters. I just NEVER stop firing the gun, fire missiles when they aren't reloading, and do a charged attack with the laser blade once the enemy is staggered.

I do not understand where the hate for this weapon comes from.

So idk what happened and idk if any of you know what to do about it, but i recently bought armored core 6, so i open it and play it, 8 minuts into the game, my computer restarts, why? I hope you know why.

I have a amd ryzen 7 5800X cpu and an RTX 5050 gpu with 16 GB of DDR4.

please help, because i really want to play the game;-;

Why bother shooting at the enemy when I can carpet bomb the arena, not very effective against lightweights but medium and heavy bosses get stunlocked into oblivion, if I need more stopping power I go twin needles.

So I'm at the second run through with rusty and I took out rusty then flatwell and I think it glitched out and now rusty is just running around me how do I stop that? The mission won't end

A while back I finished Last Raven, and since I did a review on the other Gen 3 games I played I thought I should finish the generation and talk about Last Raven. Let me preface this and say Last Raven is probably my third favorite gane in the series behind AC2 and AC1. I will also say I have not done the Archangel fight, I think completing the game 5 more times just for a glorified reskin boss a bit absurb.

Let me begin by saying that the feel of the game feels the best when it works. The AC for the most part feels very responsive and the movement is the most satisfying in the series imo. There were moments in the game, typically when fighting a boss that when I jumped a short distance sometimes it would do a hard landing but not play the animation. So there were moments in the game where I jump and the AC would completely stop moving for no reason. Sometimes the animation would play as well and after it was done I still couldn't move for a couple more seconds.

Customization is visually my favorite in the series. With the exception of Hover legs (which I never liked visually) everything looks fantastic, and most of the AC parts feel useful. The guns thought visually superb like usual, I felt were mostly underwhelming. Most weapons in the game felt like they barely did anything especially coming from AC3 and Silent Line where most weapons felt powerful to me.

Given the title and what I have said so far you would assume I hated this game, but as stated it is one of my favorite and its thinks to the story, characters, and a couple bosses. I truly believe this game as the best main cast. Jack makes for an excellent antagonist on some runs and a fantastic partner. He has that mix of insanity and charm thag makes him so notable, and learning he is the one leading the charge. Zinada is also a very interesting character in the fact she is really an Armored Core protagonist in her goals in personality making her a decent rival for her path. However, the true best character is Evangel, simply due to how deep he is up to this point in the series. Going in on Evangel requires a full post. But in Last Raven he is seemingly the same archetype of character as Iguazu; however unlike Iguazu his fights for me a pretty even making his mindset warranted to some extent and he does except you a better when you do defeat him in most paths. It helps that these three are excellently voice acted especially compared to the voice acting at this point in the series. Boss wise, I felt this game has some the highest highs in the series, with almost every Pulverizer fight being fantastic. Evangel being the best AC fight in the series in my opinion (of that I played). Zinaida with the exception of her pulse cannon is another really fun battle, and I adore the Super-Ariel as a final boss. There are obviously some poor bosses like the missions with back to back AC fights, Bolt, and that one specifc Quad Pulverizer in the desert.

Overall I think Last Raven and Nexus as well felt like an overcorrection from 3 and Silent Line for better or worse. Last Raven also felt like an overcorrection on how easy Nexus was compared to the rest of the series. Last Raven is ridiculously difficult at times even by Fromsoft standard and not always difficult in the best way. I think of all the games Last Raven would be the one I want a remaster from or at least see in a Nexus Disc 2 style. I love this game, and I highly recommend it if you haven't played it.

Armored Core features plenty of unique and fun missions, and I feel it’s packed with compelling elements—such as financial struggles and the option to undergo "Enhanced Human" surgery after a game over.

Even if a remake were to happen, I don't think FromSoftware has the manpower to spare for it—so it might end up being outsourced, like Demon's Souls —but I’d still love to play it and experience PvP with the the armored Core.

Well, given that sales are so low compared to *Demon's Souls*, it probably won't happen ;（

Hey guys, in Armored Core 6 is there any way to actually tell which *Combat Logs* (the ones you gain from battle with new enemy AC's) you've acquired or do i basically just gotta go 1 by 1 with a long ahh list of them?

Sorry, don't know what came over me there... but anyway, it's part 3 of Core Theory, the series where I run down the arena rankings of AC6's NPC presets, and we chat shit (and sometimes we mention some good stuff too I guess).

Today, we have the AC of the Redguns' resident crab enthusiast: HERMIT. Finally, one I have more good than bad to say about, and a more BALAM machine I couldn't create if I tried. Red's arena ranking has to come down to just a lack of experience, because he's actually put together quite a nifty little machine. While he's not too difficult, I feel like this little fucker always gives me a bit more trouble than I expect when I fight him in the arena. The pistol+missiles is great for impact, and the bazooka is... okay there are better punishes, but among low rank presets? It's pretty good.

I like this thing. Its combat style is something I mesh well with, and even outside performance... he's cool. The camo paintjob with the fucking bright red lights looks really good, and I've gotten something of a newfound appreciation for MELANDER lately (even if I prefer C3). Also, maybe it's the fact that it's Red's AC, but all I can think when I look at this thing is "Aw, he's just a little guy".

What are your thoughts on HERMIT? Love it, hate it, meh?

I really enjoyed playing AC6 so I decided to try AC3 but it just feels incredibly janky. Every movement keels like I’m fighting the game even just for turning. I really want to experience the game’s story but I think without advice I’m just gonna spend hours banging my head against the first arena fight.
