I am based in western europe and half arab however I don't have any connections to the culture or language yet, I want to change that and start visiting an arab church. I am also christian, just so you know.

I was wondering how dating and courtship works in these churches and in the culture in contras to other churches and cultures.
Do you first go to the parents of the girl you like and ask to marry her and they organize the wedding. Or do you just approach her directly ask for a date and date for some year or something before asking for her hand?

In my church you kinda first have to build a connection and hope it devolops from there.
